Proposal technology of production scheet-metal part of car body

The Master’s Thesis is focused on stamping of sheet metal parts. The analyzed part is a structural part of an automobile body. The part is made of DC04 (cold rolled mild steel) material. The annual pruduction volume is 10.000 pieces. Theoretical background research is a knowledge base for design of tooling that can produce parts which meet quality requirements. There are three technological processes proposed in the Thesis. An economic analysis identifies the optimal technological process for the production volume. The thesis contains a complex analysis that confirmes material formability. Computer simulation verifies the part design, material and technological parameters of the forming process.

Bachelor thesis is submitting a proposal of production technology of logo. The part is made of aluminum sheet 42 4005 and the total production is 100,000 unit/year. Based on the variant solution method of combination of stamping and drawing on the instrument without holder has been designed. Instrument is constructed for fixing to the press LEN 25 C with a nominal tensile force of 250 kN. For this variant calculation part and drawings documents were made.
Materials Used for Cutting Tools for Metal Machining

This thesis deals with cutting materials used for the production of inserts and tools for ma-chining. The aim of this thesis is to describe the various materials used in machining, their basic characteristics, composition and production. The work also includes a description of profiles of leading world producers of cutting tools. On the example of the designed shaft is made application of turning tools needed for its machining and short description of its production with a graphic demonstration. The final part is devoted to the evaluation of the turning in terms of used resources depending on the cost,productiontime and subsequent recycling of end-of-life instruments.
Construction and Making of a Shear Tools

This Bachelor thesis describes the production technology of cutting progressive dies and their modifications, the high-speed press production of instruments connectors for automotive speeds of up to 1350 strokes per minute. Production of these connectors leads to specific problems with the complexity of shape and exact dimensions. This paper describes the problems and faults found in the production of these connectors, some of their causes, and presents design modifications to remove them. All proposed design modifications have been applied in practice and can be widely applied to various tools.
Manufacturing of car company logo

The logo component will be produced in a series of 8000 pcs. It will be made from sheet metal 0.5 mm thick stainless steel 17 040. After evaluation of possible modes of production, chosen technology is stamping non rigid tools Guerin. As a medium is used POLYTAN. Literary study is focused on the analysis of this technology. Semi-finished product have circular shape with a diameter of 104.9 mm. Semi-finished product will be produced by use cutting waterjet from steel sheet of size 0.5x1250x2500 mm. Utilization of the steel sheet is 76.58%. The forming components are powered by hydraulic press ŽĎAS corp. Cth400 and a nominal force of 4 MN. This machine is in a manufacturing company available. On the basis of design calculations is chosen comply a tool for Guerin method. When you set a margin 30%, the total profit from the production is 24 096 CZK.

Presented bachelor’s thesis initially focuses on introduction to the cutting area, as one of the forming technologies. Further this thesis deals with basic methods of cutting metals. As the last and crucial point is a description of construction of follow cutting tool produced by company Brano in high-volume molding production. The molding is a part for storing clutch pedal which is designed for automotive industry.

Diagnostics methodology of historical brickwork

The aim of my bachelor’s thesis is to carry out historical overview of progress of masonry building elements and structures, including their thorough methodology of diagnostics. The introduction text is considering historical progress of masonry elements in Czech Republic and abroad. As following are described brick manufacturing methods of present and past, which is closely related to the progress of brick dimensions and its visual appearance. On sample specimen can be observed mentioned progress in the visual appearance, mechanical properties and so on. The diagnostics of masonry structures is realised via particular tests described in the thesis. Important tests used for overall evaluation are determining brick dimensions, it is volume density, absorption, compressive strength determined via destructive and non destructive methods. Also flexural tensile strength and compressive strength of the mortar. Output of my thesis is overall evaluation of all parts mentioned above.
Construction and design of stamping tools for metal parts with focus in can drawing

The introductory part of this bachelor thesis is theoretical and it discusses about the topic of sheet stamping in general. In this part analysis and detailed examination of stamping technologies are performed. In the second part, there are tendencies in evolution of stamping tools described and analysed in last years. At the end of the work suggestions for improving arrangements of stamping tools and prediction of future development in stamping tools designs are mentioned.
