Design of analog control device for mini glasshouse
Řehák, Martin ; Lukeš, Zbyněk (referee) ; Petržela, Jiří (advisor)
Nowadays there are several options how to grow plants that do not come from our climatic belts are used to implement the greenhouses, where the artificially simulated environments, in which plants can vegetate. This work deals with the issue, plant growing in climates that are not for the plants of the rainforest, characteristic. It was necessary to create a greenhouse in which to guarantee the basic conditions for their growth. Such as humidity, temperature and lighting. He was taken into account at the design and implementation of the website.
Double digitally controllable DC power supply
Kotol, Martin ; Petržela, Jiří (referee) ; Šotner, Roman (advisor)
The award of the thesis is an analysis of the involvement of power supplies in OrCAD.Based on this analysis, the best are selected, power supplies, which are modified on the performance of 2x 0-30V / 0-3A. The connection of power supplies are tested incomputer simulations and proposed the concept of digital control. Digital control power supply is designed by digital potentiometers that are controlled by a microprocessor. The microprocessor is also connected to the measuring unit for measuring the output voltage and current. The power supply is advantageously possibleto connect a keyboard and display for convenient communication. Based on the above proposal is to prototype and test a methodology for resources.Applying the methodology of testing a prototype power source are obtainedmeasurement results are compared with parameters on a computer simulation and verified by digital control.
Measurement of torsion bars and stabilizers
Bláha, David ; Vančura, Jan (referee) ; Blaťák, Ondřej (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the measurement of the anti-roll bar characteristics. The target of this thesis is to design a device for measuring of torsional stiffness of the automobile stabilizer bars, design a measuring sequence for detection values subsequently used to calculate the stiffness, and calculate the total measuring error. The measuring device is designed for the needs of the Institute of Automotive Engineering of FME BUT.
Battery supplied lawn mower
Picmaus, Jan ; Martiš, Jan (referee) ; Vorel, Pavel (advisor)
The thesis deals with a concept of turning a conventional petrol powered lawn mower to a battery powered solution which is powered by lithium cells. A division to three chapters, comparison, mechanical and electrical, provides fluency of the whole design and further realization. The arrangement of chapters is performed so that the continuity of the thesis is maintained. Calculations of parameters of every motor and transmission with choosing particular devices are just a part of much interesting information which can be found in this thesis. All new components have full documentation except those which were changed during manufacturing. The electrical part explains every part of the schematics in detail. The realization contains difference between preliminary design and further production, manufacturing of the PCB and powering up the motor drives. The last part of the thesis contains temperature measurements of the device at no load.
Design and Manufacturing of a Blade Stabilizer for Formula Student
Marko, Tibor ; Zemčík, Oskar (referee) ; Slaný, Martin (advisor)
The master´s thesis discuss about design and manufacture of blade stabilizer. It will be sets limit conditions for design blade and subsequent analysis of effects of stress and strain on the rod of blade and assembly of the stabilizer in various settings. For manufacturing of blade it will design materiál of the blank, manufacturing proces and machining conditions with the choice of cutting tools nad cutting machine. In conclusion will be comparison blades from formulas of last years from monopost Dragon 2 to Dragon 6.
Formula Student Anti Roll Bar System Design
Urban, Marek ; Janoušek, Michal (referee) ; Ramík, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is focused on design of rear anti roll bar system of single-seated Formula student car. It is a concept with torsional bar and third damper used for example in Formula 1. Design is partially inspired by topology optimization. The emphasis is on optimization using finite element method to achieve desired stiffness at low weight. Optimization is done in series of static analysis iterations of individual parts and of the whole system in several driving states. Design of front anti roll bar system with adjustable blades is made along with front third rocker system.
Design of vehicle suspension stabilizer
Krasula, Jan ; Blaťák, Ondřej (referee) ; Porteš, Petr (advisor)
This master’s thesis is focused on a design of the formula student’s anti-roll bar. The beginning of the thesis is devoted to the introduction of the anti-roll bar function and the explanation of its effect on a vehicle including the analysis of various constructions. Second part deals with the Formula Student competition. There is the analysis of the formula Ford’s anti-roll bar as a starting point for our own design. In the section which deals with the anti-roll bar design several alternatives are designed, the stress analysis of components are made and multi body system models are developed for final solutions. These models serve for further analyses of driving characteristics of the vehicle.

The conception of tail unit arrangement on aircraft
Podhorský, Matěj ; Pejchar, Jan (referee) ; Píštěk, Antonín (advisor)
This bachelor thesis provides a basic overview of empennage layout designs. It contains a theoretical introduction explaining terms necessary to understand the empennage problematics. In the main part, the most frequent empennage layout designs are described, each one with a brief description of construction, its benefits and drawbacks and airplanes with such empennage layout design.
Control system for cantilever gates
Koždoň, Ondřej ; Šťastný, Ladislav (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
In this bachelor's thesis is designed and in detail described a battery powered control system for wireless controlling swing gate. This system is designed as a small electronical system with necessary Inputs/Outputs (I/O) an Input for powering from solar cells and it is equipped with requisite software.
