Implementation of SPC into the manufacturing process
Simandl, Martin ; Nikodým, Lukáš (referee) ; Bartes, František (advisor)
The diploma thesis focuses on the introduction of statistical process control in selected manufacturing company XYZ. It is divided into a theoretical and a practical part, while the theoretical part deals with theoretical knowledge of SPC methodology and quality management. The content of the practical part is the design and implementation of the measuring and evaluation station, which will be used for statistical control of the SPC process, into the emerging production of chip machining.
Preparation and characterization of cosmetic emulsion with addition of active compounds
Zinkovska, Natalia ; Smilková, Marcela (referee) ; Smilek, Jiří (advisor)
In the theoretical part, this bachelor’s thesis focuses on the overview of the basic characteristics and properties of the emulsion. Great attention is paid to choosing the type of emulsifier and the calculation hydrophilic-lipophilic balance. The mechanisms andcauses of instability of emulsions and their possible prevention and methods of stabilization are analyzed. The present state of the problem aimed to the analysis of existing methods for determination of emulsion stability and their use in practice is also part of this thesis. The experimental part of the work is primarily focused on the preparation of O/W cosmetic emulsions with additive of active substances such as UV absorbers. To characterize the prepared samples, pH values were measured and viscosities determined. The stability of the emulsion was carried out using an analytical centrifuge, and these results were further correlated with the standard gravitational stability tests (change of storage temperature of the formulation) according to the SÚKL methodical guidelines (REG-49, REG 51), which are the Czech version of the 75/318 /: Stability tests on active ingredients and finished products. Methods of preparation and composition of individual samples are described, which is further correlated with the stated characteristics of prepared creams.
Effect of compensation to cable networks on the stability of nearby sources
Popelář, Vojtěch ; Hruška, Zdeněk (referee) ; Bátora, Branislav (advisor)
This thesis deals with the infulence of compensation cabel network on the stability of nearby power source. This issue is topical with the increase in the ratio of cable networks 110 kV in large cities. The work examines the theoretical concept of stability and factors that affect it. Mainly discusses the stability angle rotor of a synchronous machina. The practical part is performed in MODES software, that performs dynamic simulation of the behavior of the model. In this case, it will be behavior of synchronous machine during short-circuit in network at different values of compensation of this network.
Amphibious off-road car with hydraulic drive
Nožka, Michal ; Vlašic, František (referee) ; Nevrlý, Josef (advisor)
The main purpose of this bachelor's thesis is a feasibility study of an amphibious off-road car with hydraulic drive. The first part of this thesis contains basic theory of amphibious vehicles and hydraulic drives of vehicles. The second part consists of chosen amphibious cars and their comparisons. Part of this thesis also suggests hydraulic components that could be used for construction of this car.
Weight sensing of beehives with long-term stability
Vozdecký, Martin ; Marcoň, Petr (referee) ; Mikulka, Jan (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is to describe the design of stable measurement of weight in beehives. Work evaluates suitable types of weight sensors and their effect on stability. The main part of the thesis is a custom design of electronic sensing the weight of the beehive and telemetry data to the user. The concept of engagement enables stable measurement of mass loading of independence on the ambient temperature.
Browser and User Fingerprinting for Practical Deployment
Vondráček, Tomáš ; Malinka, Kamil (referee) ; Polčák, Libor (advisor)
The aim of the diploma thesis is to map the information provided by web browsers, which can be used in practice to identify users on websites. The work focuses on obtaining and subsequent analysis of information about devices, browsers and side effects caused by web extensions that mask the identity of users. The acquisition of information is realized by a designed and implemented library in the TypeScript language, which was deployed on 4 commercial websites. The analysis of the obtained information is carried out after a month of operation of the library and focuses on the degree of information obtained, the speed of obtaining information and the stability of information. The dataset shows that up to 94 % of potentially different users have a unique combination of information. The main contribution of this work lies in the created library, design of new methods of obtaining information, optimization of existing methods and the determination of quality and poor quality information based on their level of information, speed of acquisition and stability over time.
Stability and controllability of the Z-143 airplane with a more powerful engine
Kochtík, Martin ; Matějů, Jiří (referee) ; Daněk, Vladimír (advisor)
The thesis deals with the calculation and evaluation of the flight characteristics of the aeroplane Z 143 with the power unit Lycoming AEIO-580-B1A. The first part of the text focuses on a general description of the aircraft, its geometric characteristics and calculation of mass and aerodynamic characteristics. In terms of flight performance there are compared the values for contemporary model and developmental aircraft with a more powerful engine. Another part of the work deals with the calculation of properties in terms of stability and manageability. In this section regards the determination of the results of the flight characteristics and their assessment of whether they comply. In the end I discuss the individual results and comment the possible recommendations on correction or improvement of these properties.
Stability of vesicular complexes against changes in their concentration
Velichová, Veronika ; Marková, Kateřina (referee) ; Mravec, Filip (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on the stability of vesicular systems that consist of ion pair amphiphile. These catanionic vesicles were prepared from single-chained surfactants CTAB cetyltrimethylammonium bromide) and SDS (sodium dodecyl sulphate), which were stabilized by adding double-chained surfactant DODAC (dimethyldioctadecylammonium chloride) with 43 mol.% cholesterol. The aim of the thesis was to verify the stability of vesicular systems against changes in their concentration. For the measurement, a concentration series was prepared by diluting vesicles with deionized water. The stability was evaluated by dynamic (DLS) and electrophoretic (ELS) light scattering measurements at weekly intervals for four weeks. By DLS method were determined the average values of the size of vesicles and their changes during the measurement, the method ELS provided the information about changes of charge with different concentration in time. Samples with a higher concentration, i.e. no dilution till tenfold dilution of the vesicle solution, were marked as stable, higher values of average sizes and lower values of zeta potential were measured at solution with lower concentrations, according to which such diluted vesicles can be described as unstable. There were also visual observations made, but no visible aggregation in the solutions was observed. Furthermore, the aggregation behavior of the vesicles was observed by fluorescence spectroscopy using pyrene as fluorescent probe.
Static analysis of the sports hall roof
Meissnerová, Sabina ; Hokeš, Filip (referee) ; Vlk, Zbyněk (advisor)
The final thesis deals with structural analysis of the roofing of the sports hall. Computational model was created in the computational software Dlubal RFEM 6.04 according to the provided documents. The loads were performed in accordance with valid standards and the structure was assessed for the ultimate and serviceability limit state. Manual assessment calculations were compared with the software. The final thesis deals with the manual calculation of internal forces on a curved beam from the self-weight of the structure and the stability of the structure is demonstrated first on a single-sided fixed beam and then on the created spatial model.
