Sustainable tourism and conservation of nature in NP (emphasis on NP Sumava)

Compilation part of the Bachelor thesis is focused on sustainable development and tourism. An integral part is conservation management with a focus on the NP Šumava. Thesis mainly concentrates on evaluating the impact of tourism on the environment whereas one chapter/part is an analysis of winter tourist season in mountain areas. The experimental part deals with monitoring of tourims in NP Šumava to which was used a method of questionnaire survey. The emphasis is put on winter sports tourism. Research results (from winter season) are compared with summer surveys. Among new findings belong a increase of car traffic by 5%, absence of adequate car parking facilities/parking spaces and diverse opinions of summer and winter visitors. Based on these results relevant management disposals are introduced.

It presents an analysis of travel agency Periscope Skandinávie, s.r.o. and examines Finnish travel agency Lapland Safaris' range of winter sport activities. This thesis also describes the outdoor activities available in Finland. Methods: The data presented in this thesis has been acquired by analysing documents produced by travel agencies (reports, figures, catalogues sold). The questionnaire method of research has been used to assess the level of interest future clients show in the offers promoted by the travel agencies. Details about working in travel agencies have been acquired through structured interviews with the general managers of the travel agencies. Title: Problems of sustainable development in sport Objectives: The main objective is to write a research thesis with a compilation character. The thesis will describe and discuss the issue of sustainable development in sport based on available materials. Methods: To create this theoretical research paper, the method of document analysis and study of secondary data was used. With the help of the compilation method, a synthesis of the available knowledge is formed and with the help of the comparison method is created a comparing of the studied data. Results: The study and analysis of the documents showed a wide involvement of stakeholders in the issue of sustainable development in sport. To a large extent, sustainability strategies are implemented. The reference is made to sustainability principles in the described areas (sports organisations, events, facilities, etc.). The issue of sustainable development is nowadays a widespread topic that permeates the functioning of sport at various levels and thus provides many opportunities for further study. Development of business models in the field of sports services: Ski schools

Práce analyzuje vývoj business modelů v oblasti poskytování sportovních služeb. Konkrétně je zaměřena na lyžařské školy. V úvodní rešerši postupně představuje základní pojem business model a jednotlivé přístupy od různých autorů. Dále popisuje postupný vývoj poskytování sportovních služeb v turistických regionech. Výzkumná část práce obsahuje čtyři případové studie konkrétních lyžařských škol z různých oblastí, které odráží současné trendy ve sportovním průmyslu. První tři případové studie analyzují vývoj lyžařských škol, založených před rokem 1990. Případová studie nově vzniklé školy poukazuje na změnu aspektů, které vedou k založení školy v dnešní době, a poskytuje v této oblasti návod pro začínající podnikatele. Pro analýzu business modelů jednotlivých škol byl využit model Canvas. Závěr výzkumné zprávy je zpracován formou specifické analytické techniky cross-case.

Tourism impact analysis of Women´s World Floorball Championship in the Czech republic

This bachelor's thesis deals with an economic and other impact analysis within Women's World Floorball Championship held in the Czech Republic, specifically in the hosting cities Brno and Ostrava. In this thesis there are also defined terms as sport tourism, mega event and event tourism. There is a general perspective on impacts affecting local economy. The proper analysis is a direct impact research in the Czech Republic. The thesis confirmed the hypothesis about positive impact of Women's World Floorball Championship on tourism of the Czech Republic.
