The bachelor thesis called Analysis of the work of hosts, commentators, reporters and experts during sports broadcasts in the Czech Republic and the USA focuses on the analysis of the structure, capabilities and quality of specific sports broadcasts in the Czech Republic and the United States. It focuses on the evaluation of broadcasts from the 2018 FIFA World Cup on Czech TV and American FOX Sports and the final matches of the Czech and American top American football competitions on the same stations, the so-called Czech Bowl and the famous Super Bowl. This selection allows several ways to compare individual broadcasts. First, it offers a comparison of the approach of both TV stations to the same sporting event in the form of a World Cup. It also provides an insight into the difference between the size of the largest American football match in the Czech Republic and the famous Super Bowl and their television coverage. It is also interesting to compare broadcasts of different sports on the same TV station, while in the Czech Republic it is the mainstream football and not-so-popular American football, whereas in the USA the situation is exactly the opposite. Evaluation of the effectiveness of advertising expenses during sport broadcasts

Title: Evaluation of the effectiveness of advertising expenses during sport broadcasts Objectives: The main goal of this work is to compare the amount of money invested into the commercial advertisement during sport broadcasts at the ČT sport channel with viewer ratings. The used metric is a coefficient computed as a ratio between the viewer rating of the particular broadcast and the corresponding advertisement cost, normalized using Cost per Thousand method. Methods: Analysis of the secondary data provided by Czech Television and internet portal Mediaguru. Emphasis on utilization of internal secondary data for the evaluation of the efficiency of advertising investments into the specific sport broadcasts. Three chosen broadcasts are FIFA Worl Cup 2014, FIS Alpine World Ski Championships 2015, and The Czech Extraliga 2013/2014. The effectivness is evaluated by method Cost per Thousand. Results: The comparison of financial investments efficiency with respect to attracting a thousand spectators for the specific sport event and pinpointing the most efficient event and more specifically the most efficient part of the event. This bachelor thesis deals with the use of information systems and information communication technologies in sport setting with the focus on a spectator watching live broadcasting. The aim of the thesis is analyzing the current status of modern technologies, describing upcoming trends, which will create the future and discovering how people are perceiving these modern systems and technologies while watching the sport broadcasting. The first part describes types of media which you can watch sport broadcasting from nowadays or you could watch it in the past. The second part deals with the main technological systems which influenced watching matches the most. The third part covers modern trends and the reflection of the future of technologies which will influence sports. In the last part there is an evaluation of a questionnaire with the aim of discovering how people assess modern technologies and whether they are able to use them.

This thesis deals with the use of modern technologies in sports and sports broadcasts. It describes how they work, where they are used and what are the benefits for athletes, referees and spectators. It also describes new methods of sports broadcasts, including sports broadcasts on the Internet and mobile phones. Last but not least, work is focused on the outlook for the future, both in sport and in sports broadcasts. The whole work is accompanied by a survey of the public, in order to determine how people see these technologies and if they are using of new technology in sports viewing.

This thesis deals with the use of modern technology in sports broadcasts. Sports broadcasts have become the 20th century phenomenon, and this trend continues in the 21st century. The thesis first describes the history of the use of information and communication technologies in sports broadcasts. The main objective is to analyze the most used modern technologies and their benefits for viewers and athletes themselves. Such technologies include hawk-eye, Tracab monitoring system for football players, telestrator, a virtual graphics and more. The final part is dedicated to the survey, which aimed to find out how the technologies are evaluated and perceived by viewers.
