Implementation of management of the basketball tournament Easter Cup Klatovy

Title: Management implementation of the basketball tournament Easter Cup Klatovy Objectives: The main goal of this thesis is to improve management of the basketball tournament Easter Cup Klatovy. The aim is to detect its shortcomings and eventually propose recommendations for the upcoming years. Methods: This thesis uses methods of the quality research. As part of the case study, the document analysis took place first, followed up by the semi-structured interview with the main event coordinator used for getting valuable in-depth information. Lastly, two informal interviews took place to get more of a practical point of view. Based on all the data collected, the final SWOT analysis was put together. Results: The result of this bachelor thesis is a detailed analysis of the basketball tournament Easter Cup Klatovy. This analysis led the author to the following findings: the biggest strength of the tournament is the quality level as well as its loyal customer base. On the other hand, the tournament's biggest flaw is its high registration fee together with its unclear organizational structure. The biggest opportunity seems to be the social media improvement and the biggest threat for this sport event could be the failure or the lack of personnel. Management and outsourcing of ski courses of secondary schools

Title: Management and outsourcing of ski courses for secondary schools Objectives: The aim is to build a case study of a fictitious company whose business is the organization of ski courses for secondary schools using outsourcing. This objective is achieved through market research that identifies the view on the issue of headteachers at Czech secondary schools. Methods: A quantitative method of questioning was used for the research, which took place in both written and electronic form. The case study of a fictitious company uses a marketing mix of services as a tactical tool. Results: The assembled case study of a fictitious company, based on the results of an investigation, is a concrete plan for the first year of its existence. The company is able to provide the organization at a competitive price level to existing ski courses at secondary schools. Conditions of volunteering in selected sport events

Title: Conditions of volunteering in selected sport events Objectives: The main goal of this bachelor's thesis is to evaluate the area of volunteering in selected sports events. The metodology of work with volunteers is presented specifically in the concrete areas of volunteering management. Using the data from extremely diffrent sports events the characteristics of volunteering in sports are defined. The partial goal of the conclusion is to make recommendations based on the research, which would improve sports volunteering at similar events and make it more effective. Methods: The research itself was carried out by using questionairs filled in by volunteers at the European Athletics Indoor Championships and local orienteering competitions. The complementary method is an interview with the director of orienteering competition. Results: The results of the research reflect the largerly different conditons of organizing the chosen events both in the area of managing the volunteers as well as in other key activities. Even though great differences between the two evaluated events exist, there are certain chracteristics of sports volunteering which are common to both the events. Suggestions for the organization of rugby competitions in the Czech Republic

Title: Suggestions for the organization of rugby competitions in the Czech Republic Objectives: The objective of the thesis is to create proposals for improving the system of organizing male rugby competitions in the Czech Republic. Methods: To obtain the necessary information about Czech rugby competitions, a quantitative, specifically an in-depth interview method was used. The Number of Winning Titles, Top Team Identification and Percentage of Points were used to determine the level of competition. Another method used in the work is the performance ranking, created on the basis of already existing rankings, partially modified. Results: The research has shown that adjusting the system for organizing rugby competitions in the Czech Republic is suitable. The proposed changes include, in particular, the introduction of open competitions and increasing the number of matches played during the season. Subsequently, some proposals were made to make the system of organizing rugby competitions more efficient in the Czech Republic.
