Selected elements of music therapy during musical activities for students of the Elementary School at the Arpida center

This thesis characterizes music therapy, therefore the history, the types, the formes, the methods and the purpose of this therapeutical field. The following chapter focuses on special education and its individual disciplines. The final chapter of the theoretical part describes the models and the structure of music therapy for individuals with special needs. The practical part characterizes the Rehabilitation Center Arpida and further offers four theoretical models of the music therapy gatherings, specifically arranged mainly for the students of the Elementary school in the Arpida Center, which offer musical activities with music therapy elements.

This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the issue of educating students with special edu-cational needs in secondary schools. The aim of the bachelor’s thesis is to un-derstand, describe and interpret how their teachers approach the education of these students. In order to better understand the issue, the basic terminology and legal framework of the subject will be introduced in the first part of the thesis. Afterwards the various disabilities that special educational needs of students stem from will be presented, followed by an examination of the support options avai-lable to teachers from schools and other institutions. In the conclusion of the theoretical part, I will discuss various approaches to stu-dents with special educational needs from different perspectives. In the practical part of this thesis, I will describe the results of the exploratory sur-vey, which will be conducted by a qualitative method through semi-structured in-terview as its tool. The collected data will be analyzed using open coding metho-dology.
Primary school teacher's perspective on inclusive education

This diploma thesis focuses on inclusive education and its close aspects, especially the perspective of elementary school teachers. The thesis itself is divided into several chapters. These explain the theoretical framework of inclusion in special pedagogy and associated topics, for example, a shift in a perception of a person with disabilities in individual periods, basic possible approaches to children's education, ie terms of exclusion, segregation, integration, and lastly, inclusion itself. They explain their definitions or principles. School legislation in the Czech Republic is also part of the thesis. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical part and practical part. The theoretical part focuses on the topics mentioned above and deals with the concepts related to education and special education in general, such as school as social institutions and individual social and professional roles in it, the concept of socialization or international trends in special pedagogy. The practical part contains qualitative research, ie structured interviews with specific pedagogical staff and outputs from these interviews. The use of elements of music therapy in working with pupils with special educational needs

The thesis deals with the elements of music therapy used when working with children in a special elementary school. The thesis describes the connections between sound, methods, functions of heaging and the effect of music on humans. The music therapy section describes the basic components, target groups intervention and the objectives. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the classifications of special pedagogy, behavioral disorders, learning difficulties, physical disabilities, hearning and visual impairment. The practical part describes musical instruments, participants and activities within the elements of music therapy.
Implementation of Information System ANDI in Speech Therapy Practice

This thesis focuses on development of the ANDI project, which aims to make it easier for speech therapists to manage information about their clients and therapies. The paper deals with the usability of the ANDI application software for wider groups of customers. This is followed by qualitative research, based on which subjects representing possible archetypes of potential future users are selected. Based on interviews with these specialists, a list of specific requirements is compiled, the implementation of those requirements then expands the functionality of the system and its practical usability. At the end of the paper, there is an evaluation from the author's point of view and an outline of the further possible development of the project, both in the implementation of the new version of ANDI 2.0 to several independent speech therapy practices, and also for the establishment of cooperation with the commercial project Logapka.
Motivation to Pursue a Course in Special Education.

Utilization of Maria Montessori Pedagogy Teaching Aids in Classes with Mentally Handicapped Pupils

The aim of the Bachelor's thesis is to evaluate a long-term use of Marie Montessori's teaching aids in education of pupils with mental impairment. The theoretical part outlines a new paradigm of the whole discipline of special pedagogy and defines the subject and objectives of psychopaedia. A separate chapter is The following chapter explains the term mental disability and the development of the related terminology. Dedicated to the teaching of pupils with special educational needs. The last chapter describes the scientific education of Marie Montessori, the principles of Montessori pedagogy as an alternative way of education and is being concentrated on prepared didactic material and its use in work with children with mental deficiency - mental development disorder. The research process in the practical part is implemented by the method of qualitative approach and the research design of case study and partly multiple case study too. Furthermore, there were implemented qualitative data collection techniques such as the method of participated observation and in-depth interview, an analysis aimed at looking into the level of school skills and the results of activity in specific areas during one school year. A researcher's diary and documentation study were used as well. The concluding part presents the succesfull confirmation of the given aim based on the research and obtained theoretical fidings. There is an evaluation and analysis of the achieved educational goals in particular subject matter of Mathematics with a long-term application of Montessori pedagogy teaching aids while teaching particular pupils with mental handicap/disability. The use of other aids of this pedagogical system even outside the observed area proved to be beneficial.
Preventivelly-educational Care for Children, Pupils and Students with a Risk of Formation and Development of Behavioural Disorders

In my bachelor's thesis I focus on preventively educational care for children, pupils and students with a risk of developing a behavioural disorder. The theoretical part is divided into four chapters. In the first chapter, I explain the term special pedagogics. This is followed by a chapter which I focus in more detail on behavioural disorders explored by the special pedagogical field of ethopedia. In the third chapter I introduce individual institutions that focus on preventively educational care. In the final chapter I focus on educational care institutions in more detail. In the practical part I set two goals for myself. First, I found out how educational care institutions provide diagnostical, preventively educational and counselling services. The second goal was mapping modern trends in these services. For my work I selected qualitative research, the method of questioning and the technique of a semi-structured interview. To evaluate the data, I used mind maps, from the interviews I selected 8 categories, which I illustrated by mind maps and further analysed. The research sample were employees of selected institutions. The thesis provides a unified view of the way of providing diagnostical, preventively educational and counselling services in educational care institutions in the Vysočina Region. Furthermore, the thesis maps modern trends in this field and their application in the institutions. The bachelor's thesis and its results can provide a unified view of providing diagnostical, preventively educational and counselling services in educational care institutions in the Vysočina region. This thesis is beneficial for parents, pedagogical workers or for adolescents. It can further be beneficial for other employees of educational care institutions.
Development strategy of the selected school

The diploma thesis focuses on the area of strategic management of a selected educational organization, which is a vocational school. In the theoretical part of the diploma thesis, attention is paid to the theoretical basis, that is the field of education, management in a broader context and strategic management with specifics in education. The diploma thesis also focuses on the selected educational organization and its characteristics, and the general specifics of special schools. The research part analyzes the current state of management of the organization and using interviews and a questionnaire survey information is obtained to meet the goal of the thesis, to compile a development strategy for a selected organization.
