Bachelor thesis is called manufacture of ice cream. In the introduction, ice creams defined in terms of composition, production, nutritional value. The aim was to focus on the individual components and their alternatives, including raw materials containing bioactive substances that may be beneficial to human health. The second section discusses the individual steps of production. Another section explores the range of products on the Czech market in some retail chains. Includes ice cream distribution into characteristic legislative categories according to the fat content, dry matter and markings on packaging. The last chapter contains a practical part of manufacture ice cream lemon sorbet followed by sensory evaluation.

This thesis is focused on the determination of conversion factors of stacked timber which originates from Norway spruce. Different assortments were produced and processed by the "Petra s.r.o." joint-stock company. Determined factors are compared to the one which are used in contracts of "LČR s.p." ("The forests of the Czech Republic, JSC"). The determination of the coefficients was done using digital photographs of individual timber stocks with the help of the "picture analysis method" in the Adobe Photoshop CS5 Extended computer program. The results of this thesis are as follows: determination of the reason for various conversion factors used with various selections, the influence of the edge of timber stock and proposal for changes in storing and measuring of stacked timber.
Možnosti podnikání v maloobchodě v Nedvědici

This bachelor thesis portrays business opportunities in retail trade in assortment of foods, chemical goods, household items, gardening supplies and building materials in the town of Nedvědice. The theoretical part provides insight related to retail and retail networking, the classification and the location of retail units, and also about consumer goods and retail communication with customers. The thesis characterizes business in the defined range of goods and the retail business under the Trade Licensing Act. The analysis of the present state of selected retail stores in the town of Nedvědice is further described in the practical part of this thesis. Based on the results of the questionnaire survey, business plan for setting up a retail unit with an assortment of building materials is processed, and also measures for its implementation are suggested. The findings are summarized in the closing part of this bachelor thesis.
Farming Market in Czech Republic

In the last few years have farmers' markets in the Czech Republic still greater success. By farmers' markets we are trying to promote local and regional food to get into a deeper level of awareness, and to become more popular. The range is very varied but referring to the range of many legislative regulation, laws, norms and announcements. Farmers' markets are subject to the same legislation as any other food sales. In the dissertation were performed structured interviews with vendors at farmers markets and held a questionnaire survey among customers of farmers' markets and wider community from all over the Czech Republic. In the questionnaire surveys got involved 187 respondents and thanks to this survey were evaluated by the fixed hypothesis. Three out of four.
Farmer markets - legislation, products

Recently, farmer markets have become a favourite place for shopping. An offered assortment varies a lot. It is connected wich a number of laws,notices and standarts. The sale of individual items is regulated wich the same legislature as the sale in common shops. Questionnaires were spread over the farmer market in Tábor. Altogether,203 people of different age took part in the research. Based on the results of the research,70% of people know that a stall wich dairy and meat products has to be supplied wich refrigerating lquipment. 31% of people are interested in an origin of the products and 82% of people expressed their interest in reading labels on the products.
The analysis of the product assortment of the KEB-EGE ltd. company

My diploma thesis is dedicated to the analysis of the product assortment of the KEB-EGE ltd. company that concentrates on producing autodiagnostics and steel constructions. The theoretical part involves basic marketing terms and the practical part introduces the company itself, its customers, competition and suppliers, the analysis of the company macro environment and the analysis of the marketing mix as for its four tools, which is product, price, distribution and marketing communication.
Purchasing and Salling strategy of a business firm

This diploma thesis aims at the strategy of retail company and its purchase and sale department. Thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part contains information about business and its functions, basic allotment of range of goods, methods of prizing goods and calculation of profit margins. Furthermore there can be found demands on suppliers, goods and manners of order realizations that are given by the businessmen. Last but not least there are descriptions of the HACCP system and of the key technologies used in such business. The practical part is based on the theoretical one and it includes assortment of analysed company, its structure and concern in overall revenues. After this chapter there follows the purchasing strategy in which the organization of buying within the company, competences of particular employees, and methods of purchasing used across different suppliers and separate phases of purchasing program are demonstrated. In the part called selling strategy there are specified the price system, discount sales, forms of purchasing and staffs. In conclusion of this thesis there is focus on the SWOT analysis in which the main future opportunities and threats of the company are mentioned.
