The present paper deals with a development and a transformation of leisure activities in Tabor between 1900 and 1950. It is divided into five chapters and describes an influence of the socio-political situation on the transformation of leisure time.
Role of the non-govermental organizations in the protection of environment

Diploma thesis aims at role of societies (as the predominant legal form of environmental non- govermental organizations in Czech republic) in the protection of environment. Author describes legal base of society as a type of legal person in a czech law and describes diverse roles of societies in the protection of environment in the subsequent part of the thesis. Afterwards, author briefly describes right to information in environmental matters which is a prerequistite for the participation of societies in decision-making concerning environmental matters. Individual forms of this participation are described subsequently with accent on environmental impact assessment. Lastly, access to justice in environmental matters of the societies is described, including possibility of arguing by substantive law in administrative law suits and possibility of asking for suspensive effect of this actions before court and possibility to bring an action against provisions of general character. Relevant judicial decisions are also taken into account in this part.
Transformation of societies in Central Africa

The aim of this Bachelor's Thesis is to investigate the formation of the Rwandan Kingdom, with regard to the broader area which later became the state of Rwanda. It describes the Kingdom's division into provinces and districts, the administration system and all its institutions, the role of the king as a rule. The thesis discusses the way the society was stratified and the way the hierarchical character of the society was fixated. The thesis then identifies the terms Hutu and Tutsi in the context of life and endeavor of the communities and hierarchical social structure of the Rwandan Kingdom. It takes into account the importance of the dynastic mythology and its use to legitimize the established order. It reflects the consequences of the Kingdom's contact with the European culture. Last chapter is focused to Czechoslovakia Church in Vodňany and its share on free-time activities in the town.
Leisure-time and society activities of Jews living in Prague from the end of 19th century to 1939

The study deals with Prague Jews and their free time in the period between the end of 19th century and the year 1939. It focuses on society and leisure-time activities organized by Jewish Religious Community in Prague and other oficial jewish establishments, which influenced particular societies. It means especially those, which focused on education, social work, culture, sport and scouting. The thesis shows what the particular kinds of groups were doing and what organized for their members and also for the public. The author also indicates which aspects could influence Jewish free time activities and what the Old Testament and Talmud say about some leisure-time activities. In the end, she summarizes the specifics how the Jews who lived in the first half of 20th century in Prague were spending free time and evaluates the situation with respect to religion and tradition.
