Význam malých a středních podniků v kontextu regionálního rozvoje kraje Vysočina

The diploma thesis pays attention to small and medium-sized enterprises and indicators of regional development. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the performance of small and medium-sized enterprises of the processing industry in the Vysočina region in the context of the development of the region. The work is divided into two parts. In the first part, a literature review is prepared, which serves as a basis for the research part. The second part is made up of the test itself. First, the social and economic situation of the Vysočina region is evaluated here. Subsequently, an analysis of the performance of the companies is carried out based on the selected indicators and their median. The last part evaluates the importance between regional development indicators and performance indicators. This research is carried out using a correlation matrix, where dependence was determined, and multiple regression analysis, which evaluates the statistical significance of dependence. Multiple regression showed a low level of significance between indicators. The highest influence was demonstrated between the unemployment indicator and performance indicators.
Business plan draft for the establishment of an equestrian stable

The aim of this diploma thesis is to process a draft of a business plan for establishing a family business, an equestrian stable. As potential founders actively engage in horseriding, they are considering setting up a small business, located on the site of newly built stables with a higher capacity, which are already being created, to replace the original, substandard premises. The activities of the business will include, in particular, the stabling of horses, the training of young horses, the sale or brokering of the sale and purchase of horses, and additional services. The purpose of the business plan and the aim of the work is for the founders to be able to decide, on the basis of processed data and developed analyses, whether to carry out the business plan, possibly to what extent and form, or to use the stable only for housing their own horses, and to run it as a non-profit activity, funded by other sources.
Process management in a selected small and medium sized enterprice

The topic of the bachelor work is concerned on the application of process management in small and medium-sized enterprises because nowadays processing management becomes a new way of management conception. The work explains basics terms of management, gradual process of the process management, its principles and types of changes in the transition from the functional to process management. It maps the process itself, analyses it using flowcharts and processing maps to improve the procedures of production. For data obtained in the manufacturing company was suggested the solution in the area of production. It was designed to buy a new machine for making croissants. This recommendation brings required effectiveness for easier operation and higher returns. Next suggested the solution is related to the technical training for workers in marketing department. This recommendation brings better situation of customer relationship and organization of business processes. The main goal is to decrease costs and save money.
The impact of the process changes on the calculation of the chosen company

The purpose of this thesis is to analyze ongoing processes in the selected small and medium-sized enterprise Pokorny - Sítě s.r.o. Further, to find the bottlenecks, suggest how to improve them and to determine whether these improvements were reflected in the calculations of the products which are made in the company Pokorny - Sítě s.r.o. The thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is divided into several chapters that describe the basic parts like the process, the process management, the process maps, the process management improvement, the reengineering and others. This section helps us to understand and to describe the basic concepts and definitions related to the process control. The practical part is based on analysis of business processes, observations and interviews with the employees and management of the company Pokorny - Sítě s.r.o and identify the bottlenecks which impede the ongoing processes to continue. After the bottlenecks were identified, the changes of the production process were proposed and applied to the production process of the company. The new layout of the production process led to the elimination of the bottlenecks and the reduction of the production time and also impoved the efficiency and continuity of ongoing production process. Subsequently, new calculation formula was propounded. The new calculation formula provides more information per product (costs - fixed and variable, margin, profit per product etc). The result of the applied changes in the production process is the streamlining production, reduced costs and increased company's profit per product.

Bachelor thesis examines the situation of strategic alliances in the Czech Republic and their influence on small and medium enterprises. It evaluates the advantages or disadvantages that alliance membership brings to businesses and assess the impact of alliances on the competitiveness of enterprises. The thesis focuses more closely on export alliances supported by CzechTrade and clusters. The paper evaluates recommendations for small and medium enterprises to create effective cooperation within the strategic alliance.

Theoretical part introduces the reader basic terminology of entrepreneurship, environment of small and medium enterprises and the structure of a business plan, realization of which is the subject of practical part. Methodical part deals with a primary marketing research. The main purpose of the thesis is to evaluate the feasibility and the viability of the project.

This Bachelor´s Thesis is about the concept of a corporate social responsibility and sustainable development within the area of small and medium enterprises. The goal of this thesis is to analyze current CSR activities of the selected small company OTHERM Sokolov and propose suitable activities which could be established into the company´s strategy. The theoretic part is focused on a historical progress of CSR and sustainable development, to the concept of the triple-bottom-line and options for small and medium enterprises in the area of CSR. The practical part introduces characteristics of OTHERM Sokolov company, its current activities in CSR and a list of possibly proper activities. Then in the practical part are presented results of customer´s and employee´s questionnaires.
Factors that influence the success of small and medium enterprises: Case study of ICT sector in the Czech Republic

Position of small and medium companies in the information technology sector plays important role in the functioning on any state's economy. Focusing on a specific local market and using the Czech Republic as a case study, one has to state that most Czech firms face difficulties when trying to achieve economic success. Based on this fact, small and medium enterprise rating seems to be appropriate approach to determine factors that influence their performance and thus the possibility to help with their situation. Aim of this Master thesis is to determine these factors and construct econometric success rate models. Questionnaire research among ICT enterprises, and further statistical analysis showed that the earnings- employee ratio, average revenues and the R&D importance ratio plays the most important role in their success. Business of Small and Medium Enterprises and their Specifics

The main topic of this bachelor thesis are small and medium enterprises mainly the analysis of their financial aspects. The thesis is focused primarily on describing what a business is, classification of businesses according to their size, but the most important part are the specifics of the above mentioned small and medium businesses. The possibilities of subsidisation for financing purposes are another discussed subject with regard to the reasons for obtaining subsidies and information about their availability. Characteristics and development of a specific business are analysed to get better grip on the theoretical knowledge. The financial structure of the business is analysed as well. Based on received knowledge the possible suggestions and recommendations on how to effectively run and finance the small/medium business are given.
