Determination of sound source orientation from multichannel audiosignal
Sumtsov, Artem ; Ripel, Tomáš (referee) ; Krejsa, Jiří (advisor)
The goal of this thesis was a research on appropriate methods of determination of sound source orientation and consequently its processing. This thesis describes subsequently four methonds of determination of signal delays between different channels. Each of these methods is evaluated with respect to suitability, usability, error rate and sensibility. In the next part the geometrical model for determination of the sound source orientation is described. Experimental solutions are processed for the situation with three microphones. Calculations are done in Matlab.
Prediction and analysis of traffic crossings using machine learning
Hlaváček, Jakub ; Frýza, Tomáš (referee) ; Götthans, Jakub (advisor)
The thesis focuses on the area of traffic control, specifically traffic control of intersections, especially control technologies based on the obtained traffic data. The main goal of the work is the design and subsequent implementation of a real intersection Anenská and Capt. Jaroše, Pardubice in the form of a model. The work also deals with the demonstration of the used signal programs of junction control through the created model. The model is assembled from a wooden base and smaller parts are made by 3-D printing. The unit is controlled by an Arduino microcomputer. In creating this thesis, I managed to understand the comprehensive traffic management in today’s cities, which requires the current traffic situation.

Analysis of squash match, comaparison between male and female players
Strnad, Jan ; Carboch, Jan (advisor) ; Kočíb, Tomáš (referee)
Title: : Analysis of squash match, comaparison between male and female players Objectives: This thesis shall compare different types of service, returns and third shots and their combinations between male and female players and estimate their usage and average success rate in professional squash matches. Methods: Indirect analysis - videoanalysis Results: Most used serve for both sex is backhande serve and three-wall serve, most used return is volley straight back and cross back, third shot was mostly directed to left side of the court. Better chances of winning had female players directing return straight back, men had better chaces directing return cross back. In profesional squash is minimum returns directing straight front, cross front and boast. Keywords: Squash, service, return, direction, tactics, typology of players, comparison, male, female, notational analysis

Jozífek, Radek ; Bednařík, Petr (advisor) ; Benda, Josef (referee)
Thesis "Federalization of Czechoslovakia in 1968 and its reflection in Czech and Slovak daily press" deals with the way selected Czech and Slovak newspapers reflected preparations and enactment of "Czechoslovak federation Act". Thesis is composed of four parts. The first describes history and evolution of relations between Czechs and Slovaks: foundation of their common state, creation of separate Slovak state, reconstruction of the republic after Second World War and later events. It explains why federalization was so important topic for Slovaks in 1968. The second part explores the situation of media in Czechoslovakia in 1968, when the censorship was banned during liberalization process of "Prague Spring". The third part is concerned with "Czechoslovak federation Act" itself, frames this important amendment of "Socialist" constitution from 1960 in Czech constitutional history. The fourth part reviews the way how Czech (Rudé právo, Svobodné slovo, Lidová demokracie) and Slovak newspapers (Pravda, Hlas ľudu, Smer) reflected federalization in selected time periods of 1968 and 1969.
