Single-family house in Troskotovice
Slunečková, Eliška ; Pilný, Ondřej (referee) ; Kalousek, Lubor (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis aims to design a single-family passive house. Designed house is situated in Troskotovice on a flat building plot. The house is composed of two volumes: a bigger two-floor part with a gable roof and a smaller one-floor part with a mono-pitched green roof. The house is divided into a work zone in the north and east of the ground floor, a social zone in the south of the ground floor and a private zone placed on the first floor. The structural system of the building is a wood frame with timber truss and joist floors. A cast-in-place reinforced concrete slab is used for the foundation. The first part of the thesis includes architectural, structural, and material designs with assigned calculations such as acoustics, daylighting, energy certificate and fire safety calculations. The second part of my bachelor´s thesis consists of heat, ventilation, and plumbing designs with a focus on the ventilation design. An air/water heat pump is used for heating up domestic hot water and water for a wall heating system. The house is equipped with heat recovery ventilation system. Rainwater from roofs is collected in an accumulation retention tank and used for watering a garden and toilet. Excessive rainwater s infiltrated in an infiltration basin on the plot. Design of the house includes connection to the electrical grid, optical grid, water supply and sewage systems.

It is about new- built family house, which is standing alone on edge of the village Troubsko u Brna. The building´s height and architecturally are designed to fulfill requirements of surrounding buildings. The building has a basement smaller than the house itself and it has residential attic. The basement serves as a garage for two cars. The rest of the house is conceived as a single-family house, for one family of for people (two parents, two kids). Construction system is made by brick block of Porotherm, including the ceiling construction. The house has a gable roof which is designed as a roof without purlin system. As covering of the roof serves roof clay tiles.

Performance simulation of a solar PV system for a single-family home
Veličková, Kateřina ; Hejčík, Jiří (referee) ; Charvát, Pavel (advisor)
Recently, renewable energy resources have become an urgent issue, as a result there are many papers focused on photovoltaic power plants and their performance simulations. These simulations not only allow us to assess the reduction of dependency on the fossil fuels, but also to calculate costs saving. This work considers the operation of a single-family house in the Czech Republic. However, a summary of photovoltaic potential factors is presented as well as the most common applications used for performance simulations of photovoltaic power plants. In practical part of this work, the load profile for common household is determined based on the data provided by the Energy Market Operator, alternatively the load profiles of two households owning a plug-in hybrid are also determined. The performance simulation is assembled in TRNSYS application and the results are summed up in the last chapter.

Mejvald, Martin ; Balázs, Ivan (referee) ; Bukovská, Pavla (advisor)
This thesis is aimed at the design of wooden load-bearing structure for a detached house in the village of Roztoky u Jilemnice. It is a detached house with one storey and a living attic. The designed structure has a rectangular floor plan of 7,5 x 17 m with a height of 8 m. Glue laminated timber frames were chosen as a structural system. The building is covered by a gable roof with a 40° slope. The load bearing structure of the roof consists of wooden truss made of grown timber. The whole structure is further reinforced with steel bars. The structure was modelled in Dlubal RFEM 5.27.01, which was also used to determine the internal forces on the individual elements of the structure. The assessment of the elements was carried out in RFEM and partially verified by manual calculation. In addition, selected connections in the structure such as the bolted multi-slot connection were addressed.

The subject of this bachelors thesis was to design a single-family house in Brno Mokrá Hora and process the study and the design documentation for this house. Part of it will serve as permanent housing for a 4 member family and the second part as a distribution point for an online shop with 2 employees. The walls will consist of sand-lime bricks with an additional contact thermal insulation system ETICS, the ceiling will be reinforced concrete constructions and the house will have a walkable flat green roof. Part of the documentation is also the modification design of the surrounding terrain and the design of the car park for 2 cars and 1 light commercial vehicle. An interesting design choice is the height level of the roof, which is situated in the same level as the local road. Design documentation was processed using the program AutoCAD, the study and the visualization using both ArchiCAD and Artlantis 5.
