Control unit of four - legged robot based on microcontroller PIC

This Bachelor thesis develops “Jaromir“, a four legged robot by adding appropriate sensors to it and designing a new control unit that is able to receive and process the acquired data by the sensors. The functionality of the control unit is tested by implementing a number of simple movements. This testing demonstrates the possibility of using this unit for the developing and testing of complex movement algorithms.

Then it is made the design of turntable with indirect drive and the design of turntable with direct drive.
Design of the gantry CNC milling machine with sliding table

This master’s thesis is focused on design of gantry CNC milling machine with sliding table. Thesis includes the review of components of this machines and comparsion of their options. Servo motors , ball screws and linear guides parameters are calculated. Also the suitable software and hardware for the machine control is chosen. Main parts of the machine were analysed using finite elements method. 3D model, drawings and documentation of machine build are included.

This master's thesis is focused to engine control by CAN bus. Theoretical part describes industrial control buses, servo-traction engines and their application. There are mentioned principal and basic parameters of common control buses and their comparison. Each engine type is described in side of construction and control requirements. Practical part of of this paper works on servo-engines in metal cutting machine applications.
Robotic Arm System for Scale Models Domain

This thesis marginally deals with issue of industrial robots, subsequently with the design and construction of own robotic arm. It includes production process in domestic conditions with usage of commonly available components and hobby FDM 3D printer. It is closely dedicated to selection and connection of control electronics, design and consequential implementation of firmware including graphical user interface intended to demonstrate its functionality. In conclusion, it evaluates achieved results and proposes possible improvements.
