Cieľom tejto práce je doručenie služby v podobe databázového systému pre sledovanie laboratórnych zariadení pre Porsche Engineering Services, s.r.o. Uvedená služba bola doručená nasledovaním usmernení frameworku manažmentu služieb so zameraním na aspekty softvérového inžinierstva. Finálnym produktom je informačný systém implementovaný v Djangu s mobilnou aplikáciou implementovanou v Swifte a využíva databázu MariaDB. Tento systém vytvára lepšiu správu zariadení laboratória a ponúka mnoho možností pre rozšírenie. Celá služba prispieva k úsporám času a nákladov spoločnosti.

The thesis is focused on service management business entity and deals with the analysis of the travel agency ABC Ltd. Theoretical part involves the interpretation of concepts, marketing services and quality management services. The practical part contains an analysis and subsequent evaluation of proposals for amendments. Aim of this work is to propose measures to improve the quality of existing services, which would lead not only to greater customer satisfaction, but also to increase the number of services sold.

System daemon for HelenOS

HelenOS is an operating system based on a number of cooperating server processes, however it is missing unified means to control and monitor them. The thesis first surveys approaches taken by both popular and microkernel operating systems to the service management. Further it gives a detailed overview of relevant HelenOS environment and continues by the analysis of particular service management issues. The presented knowledge is then applied to HelenOS and the implementation based on the systemd terminology is described. More and more people are employed in tertiary sector, a service one. Therefore a lot of research works is focused on these activities. This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of management of accounting services for school facilities. The work explains concepts as a service and its characteristics, the specifics of providing of accounting services for school facilities. The goal of the thesis is the analysis and suggestions for improvement of the accounting services that are offered and provided for schools by the observed company. All the survey insists in to the analysis of market conditions and the internal environment of the chosen company based on gaining available information about the chosen company and its analysis, marketing activities, the customer need analysis based on the primary data, the characteristics of development trends and finding the economic position of the company. The analysis draft for improvement of the provided services and the provision of the competitiveness of the company.
Service Management in a Selected Company

This bachelor thesis is focused on service management in a selected accounting company in Příbram. The aim of the thesis was to analyse conditions, actual supply and demand for accounting services in the Příbram. Based on the acquired data from carried out analysis there were evaluated the strengths and weaknesses of the company and their importance for the company. There were proposed the actions for the improvement of the company management and the quality of provided services on the basis of the analysis results.

Complete data model of ITIL

The objective of this thesis is to design a complete ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) data model by using Entity-Relationship diagram and the argumentation of this model in relation to ITIL Configuration and Asset Management federative approach. The thesis is build of two major parts, where the first one focuses on the theory of recommendations and best practices in the IT Governance processes, its relationship to ITIL and a high-level overview of ITIL history. Theoretical part ends with the brief description of tools and methods used in data modeling. It is followed by practical part in which the content is based on analyzing of ITIL publications in the same order as IT Service Management life cycle phases and designing of the logical data model. Each chapter discusses at its end the abiliity of designed model to cover the data requirements for particular ITSM lifecycle phase. In the very last chapter, all partial models are joined into one complete data model and shown relations are argumented.
Possibilities of providing services of Public Administration using ITIL best practices

This thesis aims to answer a question whether it is possible to provide public administration as a service and how can ITIL be used. The thesis is divided into three parts. In the first part of the thesis the theory of management is broken down, the basic concepts are explained and a brief history of the development of public administration in the Czech Republic to the present as well as briefly introducing the expected developments in the near future. The second part of the thesis explains the ITIL framework as the de facto standard for IT management. This Includes the life cycle services, starting with the requirements of customer service through service strategy, service design, service transition, service operation and the ending stages of continuous service improvement. Third section introduces the concept of PAIL as an analogy to the ITIL methodology. Removing the "IT" from "ITIL" makes an "IL", an infrastructure library of good practice, where we find instructions on how to provide, generally, any form of infrastructure services. The essence of this methodology, it the "IL", featuring the specifics of public administration "PA", thus arises as the methodology "PAIL", a " public administration infrastructure library". The design of PAIL takes into account the differences between public administration and providing IT services, however the two methodologies are based on the same principles of service management. As an example of possible implementation in public administration PAIL shows the applicability of the methodology on the example of a single point of contact for the public administration called the "Public Service Desk".
Analysis of IT management according to the ITIL framework

The aim of bachelor's thesis is to introduce the ITIL v3 framework, package of publications, for ICT service management. This set of publications provides the best practices within managing of ICT (Information and communication technology) services and infrastructure for ICT managers. It could be useful for ICT manager in specific company. The content of thesis is a comparison of IT services management in specific company with the best practices set out in ITIL. Bachelor's thesis could be helpful for ICT decision maker to obtain a general overview, whether implement ITIL completely or take some recommendations suitable for the dimensions of his IT department. The output of thesis is a description of current situation and to identify areas that are already solved by ITIL v3. The ICT manager will obtain a situation picture of his IT department governance in comparison with the ITIL framework, how it could be developed and what risks are there, if he won't respect certain recommendations, which are not implemented.
