Business Centre
Dušek, Ivo ; Sýkora, Karel (referee) ; Pilgr, Milan (advisor)
This Master thesis was about calculation and design of supporting steel bar structure multi storey administrative building. Steel structure with rotation symmetric floor plan has sixteen storey. Maximal size of building is 100x100m. Structural design report is made by a combination of manual calculations and calculations using software RFEM by Dlubal. Structural design report includes calculations of secondary beam, primary beam, column, bracing, purin, truss girder and others part of structure with their connections. Thesis includes drawing documentation and report.
Steel Structure of the Office Building
Stavrovský, Jiří ; Štrba, Michal (referee) ; Hron, Lukáš (advisor)
Thesis deals with design of a steel structure of multi-storey office building. It is a six-storey steel structure of square plan with dimensions of 40 x 48 meters and height of 21,5 meters. Structural design report is made by a combination of manual calculations and calculations using software Scia engineer. Structural design report includes calculations of: truss girder, column, connection, bracing, beam, secondary beam and column anchorage. Thesis includes drawing documentation and report.
Timber structure of a view tower in southeast Moravia
Vrbka, Jan ; Straka, Bohumil (referee) ; Šmak, Milan (advisor)
he master’s thesis consists of a case study of an observation tower design made of glue laminated timber and steel. There are two different tower shapes of anchored or free standing tower and these towers are compared. One of the design is chosen and elaborated into final detailing. A short review of main issues bound with the observation towers is given. The review deals mainly with loading (mainly priniples wind loads are analised) and evaluating of towers (ultimate limit states, service limit states and acceleration comfort). The height of final construction is up to 60m. The design is formed by a space lattice structure made of glue laminated timber and steel members of different class. The members are fastened mainly by means of dowel joints with slotted-in-plates . There is a light steel stairway inserted into the main structure.
Design of Selected Elements of Storeyed Building
Ducháč, Josef ; Horák, David (referee) ; Švaříčková, Ivana (advisor)
The Master´s thesis is focused on the assessment basic parts of the story building. All construction is made from reinforced concrete. The columns, flat plate slabs, flanges and stairways are between the design constructions. The thesis includes working-out of static calculation, drawing shape, reinforcement drawing of all design constructions and results from computer sofware.
Bridge across Bystrica creek
Nani, Pavel ; Glovina, Filip (referee) ; Zich, Miloš (advisor)
The subject of my diploma thesis is a detailed static calculation of the post-tensioned concrete road bridge across Bystrica creek near Banska Bystrica in Slovakia. The bridge is element of turning ramp a motorway R1. The spatial curvature continuous bridge has 9 fields. It was made a spatial curvature computational model of the bridge for a structural analysis. The model was comparison with a straight computational model of the bridge. It is made comparison effect of the construction bridge in stages on the size of the internal forces too. The load-bearing structure was checked according to CSN EN 1992-1-1, CSN EN 1992-2 and CSN 73 6214.
Reconstruction of the brewery structure using post-tensioned ceiling
Zavadil, Bronislav ; Chalabala, Jiří (referee) ; Klusáček, Ladislav (advisor)
Aim of this master's thesis is an optimized design of locally supported ceiling slab of building of social center with account of span of columns and height of slab. Structure must be assessed in terms of limit state and service limit state by ČSN EN 1992-1-1 General rules and rules for buildings after design.
Static analysis of Church in Brno
Rejnart, Michal ; Bažant, Zdeněk (referee) ; Zich, Miloš (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with design of roof structure of the church in Brno Lesná. It is arched shell, which is symmetrical only by one axis. The roof is clamped by bond beam at supports of roof structure, which sits on a reinforced concrete walls, which transfers load to foundations. This structure is checked for the Ultimate Limit State and Service Limit State. Text part of design contains report, where is described structural system and technological proces. The structural design report contains assessment proces of designed structure.
T-beam road bridge
Lipovský, Václav ; Panáček, Josef (referee) ; Koláček, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is the design a bridge structure. The bridge will transfer a road of a S7,5 category over local river. Three variants were designed, from which the most suitable one was selected and it was further designed. The selected load-bearing structure is an monolithic post-prestressed single-girder bridge with one span. The span of the structure is 28.0 m. The structure has been detailed processing and assessment of the structure for the ultimate limit state and service limit state. Detailed drawings and visualization followed.
Arch pedestrian bridge
Fadrný, Michal ; Nečas, Radim (referee) ; Koláček, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis target on design of arch pedestrian bridge over the Dyje river in the town of Břeclav. At the beginning of the paper, we compare two suspensions structures. Simultaneously we look for the best structural option out of the two. The first model is deck suspended on 14 oblique suspension cables. The second model is deck suspended on straight suspension cables. The third alternative model is made too. We choose deck suspended on 14 oblique suspension cables for structural analysis.
Design of concrete elements with FRP reinforcement
Mrkvová, Kateřina ; Lagiň, Juraj (referee) ; Kostiha, Vojtěch (advisor)
This diploma thesis focuses on deflection of reinforced concrete structures with FRP rebar. The thesis presents and compares various approaches on deflection of reinforced concrete structures with steel and FRP rebar based on national and international standards and existing research. The aim of the thesis is to point out differences among the various approaches and present the most suitable one for the particular case. Based on theoretical and experimental results, the goal is to modify one of the existing approaches or present a new method which would correspond with real deflection behaviour of FRP reinforced concrete beam. Simply supported beam with three-point bending was selected as a reference element. Analytical study and numerical analyses by ATENA software are performed. Results of analytical and numerical study are compared to experimental results.
