Evaluative Language in Electronic Product Reviews

Tato práce bude zaměřena na ohodnocení jazyka v recenzích mobilních telefonů. K tomuto účelu bude použita recenze Apple iPhone 7. Apple má širokou nabídku produktů, jmenujme počítače, tablety, hodinky nebo mp3 přehrávače. Mobilní telefony jsou ale jedním z nejpopulárnějších produktů. Z tohoto důvodu, jsou recenze mobilních telefonů perfektním zdrojem pro tuto tezi. Účel této práce je analyzovat a demonstrovat prostředky ohodnocení jazyka v reklamní mluvě a odhalení strategií a jazykových prostředků použitých k ovlivnění čtenáře, při apelování na city, morálku a estetiku chápání. Předpokládám, že recenze jsou zaujaté díky použité formě jazyka, která může obsahovat osobní názory autora nebo metody manupulace se čtenářem. Tyto metody mohou být použity při stylizaci textu, mohou apelovat na emoce nebo sociální zázemí čtenáře nebo mohuu být použity při rozhodování o tom zda a jaké informace v recenzi poskytnout. Tato teze ověří, zda je tato hypotéza platná.

In my diploma thesis called Everyday Politics I deal with the insufficiently solved topic of economic relations and structural inequalities of actors in contemporary art. I focus on the issue of economic situation of art students and their position within the university of technical direction with high demands on results and future use of measurable prestige and lucrative work position.

Image similarity measuring using deep learning

This master´s thesis deals with the reseach of technologies using deep learning method, being able to use when processing image data. Specific focus of the work is to evaluate the suitability and effectiveness of deep learning when comparing two image input data. The first – theoretical – part consists of the introduction to neural networks and deep learning. Also, it contains a description of available methods, their benefits and principles, used for processing image data. The second - practical - part of the thesis contains a proposal a appropriate model of Siamese networks to solve the problem of comparing two input image data and evaluating their similarity. The output of this work is an evaluation of several possible model configurations and highlighting the best-performing model parameters.

Activity of the Associations in the Kralovice Region as a Part of Modernizing of the Region (from the Second Half of the 19th Century to the First Half of the 20th Century)

This diploma thesis deals with the development of activity of the associations on the territory of former judicial district of Kralovice between the second half of the 19th century to first half of the 20th century. The introductory part is devoted to the origins and general development associations in the Czech countries with regard to the typology and the process of association legislation in a specific timeframe. The next section of this work has been focused specifically on the Kralovice region. Described here is a historical development with emphasis on the period 1848-1949, which is followed by a characteristic shape, a typology of associations and activities in the district court Kralovice. The final section will then detail the associations of Kralovice, their formation, members, activities and influence of corporations on the development and character of the city. The importance of community in community gardens

The diploma thesis deals with the concept of community gardens, where the common activity of people, mutual help and pursuit of a common goal creates a certain community model. In this thesis we want to clarify the functioning of the relationships on which the community is based, how members perceive it and describe its character. The aim is to show how civil society organizations that set up community gardens can create an environment for meeting and associating people in communities and enabling them to meet the needs they lack in their location. Sport and social capital: formation of social capital among recreational and competitive athletes

The bachelor's thesis focuses on the problem of the formation of social capital within a sport club. It examines the differences in the patterns in creation and manifestation of individual social capital among the group of recreational and competitive rowers. The main aim of this work is to observe whether social capital is formed in this environment and what are the possible differences in the approach of the two groups. The qualitative methods used for this reasearch came to a conclusion that the sport club is a place which may support the formationof social capital. There were also some distinctions found between the two groups. The main reason for these differences is possibly the different approach to sport as a collective or recreational activity. Competitive rowers percieve the sport as a collective activity, therefore there may be more permanent and strong connections are created among them. Social capital formed in the sport club may have an importat role in the life of competitive rowers. Social capital created in this way doesn't probably have the same significance for recreational rowers. They approach the sport on an individual level and the connections within the club are not very important for them. The findings of this work enable us to understand the potential of sport evnironment...
