Economy and accounting of primary school

This diploma thesis focuses on economy and accounting of contributory organizations using a specific example: primary school. The first part mentions the general specifications of contributory organizations, their establishment and their founders. The legal regulations governing these subjects are also thoroughly discussed. Then the thesis addresses the salaries paid out to personnel within the school system. Also is introduced the Základní škola a mateřská škola Stehelčeves. The incomes and costs of contributory organizations are analysed using specific data from the subject in the following chapters. The last chapter is theoretical and discusses the accounting specifications of the contributory organizations and schools.
Analysis of the Management Development in the 20th century

In the first part of the work will be considered theoretical bases of formation of the major management schools in the twentieth century. As will be disclosed such topics as: the classical school of scientific management, the school of "human relations" and behavioral sciences and features modern approaches to management. In the second part touched upon the practical application of theoretical approaches to management, as well as the influence of the theoretical approaches to the development of modern science, factors of influence on the overall approach of management and organizational structure and the impact of approaches to personnel management and interpersonal relations system.
Relations between school and families

The aim of this bachelor thesis was to find out which relations exist and are developed between family and school. The thesis also focuses on the possibilities of cooperation and becoming a part of the school life offered by the institution of school to the parents and the way the parents use them. The thesis consists of two parts theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part explains main concepts relating to the family-school relations as well as the parent-teacher-pupil relations. It describes possible forms of cooperation and gives examples of literature that focuses on this problem. The empiric part is concerned with the research of pupils from selected elementary school classes and their parents who deal directly with teachers as well as school. The conclusion offers the evaluation of the results of the research and confronts them with the aims of this thesis.
Subsidy Possibilities for Schools and Their Use

The work is dedicated to the state-funded institution,mainly to schools and their financing. There is the information about the structural policy of the European Union,too.The object of this work is to analyse an use of European finance by the Czech students. An introduction to the subject of state-funded institution and financing of schools is followed by the Czech and the European subsidies. Moreover, there is the information about individual programming periods the last periods and ongoing period. A real case study of financing of schools and programming periods is introduced in the practical part of this work. The case study takes place in the chosen schools. First, a description of the ongoing projects in these schools is carried out together with an analysis of their use by students and efficiency for them. The work concludes with a plan of ongoing projects to the next years of present programming period.
Term Operationalization of Bullying by Children from Elementary and High School

Bachelor thesis deals with conception of bullying by children from elementary and high schools´ operationalization. Theoretical part is aimed at definition of bullying, three-dimensional look at bullying, participants of bullying, development viewpoint, bullying´s causes and effects and description of bullying´s treatment. Research of two schools, one primary (n = 88) and one secondary (n = 84), is performed in practical part. Questionnaire survey and subsequent group discussions are performed with the aid of mixed research design. The aim is to find out how pupils of primary and secondary schools perceive conception of bullying and how they would define it by themselves. The research is based on three main viewpoints of bullying bullying as a pathological behaviour, bullying as an addiction and bullying as a disorder of group´s relationships. Results confirm good pupils´ orientation in behavioral display of bullying from its each participant´s side. Results also point out complexity of relationships between aggressor and his victim, which may appear to be friendly. In practice, however, it is more likely "false friendship", which is hardly distinguishable from the real one. The research shows positive attitude of pupils to bullying´s solution as a problem concerning whole class group.
Death and rituals associated with death of children at elementary school a in present-day society.

This thesis deals with the view of death in current society in ČR. The first part of the thesis defines the concept of death which touches our lives. It examines death from the point of view of sociology, psychology and theology. The second part is dedicated to meeting children with death in their life and is focused on possibilities to meet with the topic of death in school education. The third part follows up with rituals which help us to go through certain situations together. The final fourth part shows us results of quantitative research in the understanding of death in children of younger school age.
Jena pedagogy

This diploma thesis deals with alternative pedagogical concept of Peter Petersen, the jena pedagogy. It describes the topic at first on the theoretical level, in the next section is it concentrated on its practical application in Czech and foreign schools. In the theoretical part deals the diploma thesis with historical background of the emergence of alternative pedagogical trends in general, then is targeted at some specific alternative directions and the most attention is devoted to jena pedagogy. The diploma thesis maps the first attempt of foundation a jena school in the Czech Republic, where in the 90s were opened several experimental classes with jena elements at a primary school in Poděbrady. It monitors the circumstances of preparation of this initiative, its progress and the situation leading to its early demise. The result of the analysis is identification the potential benefits and risks of jena system of education for our school system.
Methodology of Evaluation of Internet Websites of Elementary Schools in the Czech Republic

The aim of this bachelor's dissertation is to assess the quality of website presentations of various elementary schools from an esthetic and graphic point of view, as well as their information value. The hypothesis of the bachelor thesis is to prove or refute is that the website presentations of elementary schools from larger cities, namely Prague, Brno, Ostrava, Pilsen, Mladá Boleslav, are displaying higher quality of information and also better esthetic and graphic quality. The dissertation is divided into two segments, the theoretical part and the practical part. The theoretical part analyzes development of the internet, internet browsers, programming languages, editors and the information value. The practical part will objectively evaluate the parameters mentioned above and prove or refute the given hypothesis.
Analysis of conditions of Health education for children with mental disability at school

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyse the conditions of health education of children with an intellectual disability at school and to find out their knowledge of health and their attitudes about it. First teoretical part focuses on terminology and classification of intellectual disabilities. In this part, the possibilities of upbringing and education of children with an intellectual disability are stated and the South Bohemian Region in which the research took place is specified. At the beginning of the practical part, some cooperating schools situated in this area are described. Two different surveys focused on different groups of respondents were created. First survey was intended for pedagogues and assistents in practical and special primary schools. It provided basic identifying information about individual respondents, their experience, methods and opinions. The second survey was intended for children with an intellectual disability in regular primary schools and it provides basic identifying information about individual respondents, their knowledge and attitude to healthy lifestyle. The evaluation of questionnaires shows that children with an intellectual disability have good conditions for health education and good knowledge of basic principles of health, however they are not able to adopt it and follow these rules in everyday life.
Availability of sports facilities and sports equipment in municipal elementary schools in region of Tabor

My Bachelor´s thesis is focused on mapping of all sports halls, gyms and other covered and opened sport facilities in municipalities of Tabor with up to 1000 inhabitants where elementary schools were founded. Other goal was to find out how effectively they are used, how equipped they are and what teachers and students think about current condition of these facilities. The thesis points out physical training and sports carried out in elementary schools. Data for the practical part of thesis was collected with use of assembled questionnaire and its dissemination in all concerned schools. The result of this research in region of Tabor was satisfactory except of elementary school in Stadlec where I recommend putting more stress on cooperation with villages in neighborhood for better financing in order to improve its condition or construction of new ones.
