The aim of this thesis is to study and better understand the experience of fathers in how their partner helps shape their role as a father. The theoretical part describes changes in the concept of fatherhood that we observe in society, as well as ways of conceptualising fatherhood and the influence of the female partner. The constructs of co-parenting and gatekeeping are explained in connection with the influence of the female partner and parenthood as other potential approaches to grasping and understanding the phenomenon of fatherhood. The empirical part presents the results of qualitative research, which was carried out with the use of interpretive phenomenological analysis and semi-structured interviews. The topics that emerge from the analysis are the answers to the research question. The topic of partnership, especially its quality and mutual closeness, appears to be essential. This is further reflected in the fathers' self-evaluation as well as the level of the fatherhood experience. Another important area is the division of roles and competencies, which is influenced by whether the female partner has a traditional or liberal approach to parenting. The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to find out what attitude Czech young adults have towards parenthood. The bachelor thesis is divided into a theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, the period of youth, the characteristics of parenthood, family and marriage are defined with the help of professional literature. Attention is paid to the contemporary Czech family and its forms. Furthermore, alternative forms of cohabitation are discussed. In the practical part, there is the goal of the bachelor thesis, which is to find out what attitudes Czech young adults have towards parenthood. A qualitative research strategy has been chosen for the elaboration of the practical part. We will also find research questions through which it has been found out what ideas young people have about parenting; how important role marriage plays for today's young adults and what opinion they have on alternative forms of cohabitation. The method of questioning was chosen, where the data collection took place through a semi-structured interview. The sample consisted of young people ranging in age from 20 to 26, from the South Moravian Region. After obtaining the necessary data, the interviews were transcribed and then evaluated by means of cluster analysis. The research has revealed that parenthood is for today's young adults the embodiment of love, a new relationship is developed and experiences are transferred to a new generation, a person acquires a vision for the future, sees the success of his/her child in the growth of his/her life. Today's young people perceive marriage from a purely practical point of view, especially in easier communication in the authorities. Individuals of the young generation stated that it is not essential for them that the child be born into a marriage, they consider much more important the fact that the child grow up in a complete family. The research also showed that today's young adults have a positive attitude towards alternative forms of cohabitation.

The theoretical part of the bachelor's thesis is further elaborated in five chapters, which deal with risky behaviour, family, currently the most used social networks, the legal concept of sharenting and sharenting itself. The practical part is mentioning the goals and hypotheses, which were processed using a quantitative type of research, the questionnaire technique. The research sample included a total of 221 respondents, which consisted of parents who are active on social networks and young people (future parents) aged 18 to 26 years. The selection of respondents was targeted, using the snowball method. From the results of this bachelor's thesis, we found that parents know the risks associated with sharing private information, photos, videos on the Internet and social networks. We also found that parents share this information to create virtual family albums, by sharing memories with distant relatives and friends. Parents do not ask their children for approval to share photos, videos, etc. on social networks. When evaluating the questionnaires, we received different opinions from potential future parents, who mostly answered negatively to the sharing of information about children on the Internet. The results of this bachelor thesis can be the basis for further discussion on this issue. Furthermore, they can be an incentive for various educational and awareness programs not only for parents but also for the general public.
