Load carring structure of a riding hall
Kubíček, Michal ; Straka, Bohumil (referee) ; Sýkora, Karel (advisor)
Master's thesis describes the design and check of the construction of the riding hall. Here are compared two versions the steel structure riding hall. For select version is here technical report, design calculation, statement of material and design documentation. Next is prepared specialization in the field of building construction.
D - Areas Analysis using Strut and Tie models
Konárek, Lukáš ; Hradil, Petr (referee) ; Zídek, Rostislav (advisor)
The objective of bachelor thesis is the analysis of typical D-areas of reinforced concrete structures. The analysis is performed using methods replacement truss. In the beginning models replacement truss are used for analysis shear bending girder. It is also shown in the individual chapters specific D-areas using spare truss method. These particular truss models are solved by RFEM program operating on the principle of Finite Element Method.
Analysis of possibilities of solution of buckling of a screw-shaped beam
Pokorný, Jan ; Fuis, Vladimír (referee) ; Burša, Jiří (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis deals with the effect of the pretwist of a column on the increase in buckling load and also focuses on a column with rectangular cross section. This problem is divided into two main parts. The first one is represented by the column with a large thread pitch, the second one by a small thread pitch. The results are obtained by a numerical approach using MATLAB software. The verification is carried out via finite element software. The outcome of this thesis is plotting the ratio of the critical loads of the twisted and prismatic columns against the ratio of the side lengths of the rectangular cross section. The results are shown for both types of considered columns.
Strength design and deformation analysis of the truss construction.
Ryšánek, Michal ; Nedělka, Pavel (referee) ; Vrbka, Jan (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis is focused on strength design and strain-stress analysis of truss construction. Simplified as a plain truss construction. One of the main goals of this thesis is calculate stresses for each member of the construction, depending on the load position. The cross section of beams were designed respecting safety conditions. The influence of the gravity field was not taken into account.
The footbridge for pedestrians and cyclists
Pupík, Antonín ; Sýkora, Karel (referee) ; Puchner, Josef (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design and assessment of footbridge for pedestrians and cyclists in the city of Hranice, Rybare district. The footbridge will serve as a crossing point over the river Bečva and will conect cycling trail with the street Rybarska. The content of this paper is to propose two different variants of structures. One of these options is selected based on their economic evaluation and further processed. Length of the bridge is 50m.
Static analysis of sports hall
Jedlička, Michal ; Nevařil, Aleš (referee) ; Vlk, Zbyněk (advisor)
This Bachelor´s thesis is about the static analysis of sports hall in Libina. I have used a program RFEM for making the model. The model was elaborated according to the provided project documentation and valid regulations ČSN EN. The aim of this work is to analyze the real construction and to point out to the formation of possible problems.
Steel load-bearing structure of a sport hall
Hrtoň, Vít ; Horáček, Martin (referee) ; Balázs, Ivan (advisor)
The project's purpose is to create a design of a steel load-bearing structure of a sports hall with a floor plan measuring 30 x 63 m in dimension. The structure will be used for common indoor sports and consists of main trusses with parabolic chords and piston rods. The trusses are pinned on columns. The centre to centre spacing between the trusses is 9 m. The Columns are fixed to their bases. The Rigidity of the main frame is ensured by a sway and longitudinal bracing system. All bars are rolled steel profiles and are designed according to current ČSN EN standards. All elements are made from class S 235, S 355 or S 460 steel.
Stress and deformation analysis of railway bridge over the Morava River
Trávníček, Lukáš ; Profant, Tomáš (referee) ; Fuis, Vladimír (advisor)
This Bachelor Thesis contains stress and strain analysis of the first two parts of the railway bridge in Olomouc with an assessment of changes in the stress and strain when changing the static storage. Firstly, the theoretical basis of rod systems is presented, it is followed by the calculation of normal forces and the stress in rods for both parts separately. The calculations include the load arising from its own weight and from the weight of a train, which is represented by the load at the framework joints. Next, these two parts are connected. For this rod system a stress-strain analysis is also used. In conclusion, stress and strain is calculated for comparison by the finite element method in the program ANSYS Classic.
Computational analysis of leveling of square cross section rods
Šebek, František ; Návrat, Tomáš (referee) ; Petruška, Jindřich (advisor)
Current requirements in mechanical engineering require more accurate operations and more efficient technologies. The aim of this thesis is the analysis of the leveling of square rods. The main problem is the setting of the leveling machine for the specified material and geometric data so that the initially curved material, which passes through alternatively positioned offset rollers, is leveled as much as possible. The main factor in the leveling process is the plastification of the material used for the redistribution of the residual stress. Based on existing theo-retical knowledge in this field, programs are set up to simulate the passing of the rod through the leveling machine. Further, modifications leading to the improvement of the whole process are presented. Finally, there is a verification of the results which is made independently of the submitted solution and processed by the finite element method.
Electronic Xylophone
Weyrová, Dominika ; Zuth, Daniel (referee) ; Marada, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of this work is to design and implement an electronic xylophone, which will be driven by Arduino or appropriately chosen programmable controller. Xylophone will be particularly suitable for promotional purposes.
