1 ABSTRACT This master thesis deals with the influence of the intervention program on risky sexual behavior and the possibilities of its prevention for students of secondary medical school. The main objective was to determine its effect on knowledge in the area of risky sexual behavior, about selected STIs and the use of condoms; changing attitudes towards intercourse and the use of condoms; self-efficacy for refusing intercourse, communicating about condom use, buying and using condoms; barriers to condom use by program participants. To fulfill it, an intervention program based on current knowledge and procedures in the field of school prevention and intervention was designed. Subsequently, its feasibility was verified in practice with the participation of male and female students aged 15-18 years of the 1st year of the secondary medical school in Příbram. In order to answer the research questions, a research using the pretest-posttest design, as well as questionnaire surveys, was conducted simultaneously. Through subsequent analysis of quantitative data, it was found that the proposed intervention program has a statistically significant effect on students' knowledge, especially knowledge about risky sexual behaviour. Changes in students' attitudes toward sexual intercourse promoting sexual abstinence,...

Teenagers´ knowledge about prevention of the risk sexual behaviour in Klatovy
JIŘÍKOVÁ, Petra
The diploma work deals with problems of the risk sexual behaviour of teenagers. The aim was to compare knowledge of teenagers about prevention of the risk sexual behaviour at the Secondary medical school and at the secondary schools without medical orientation. Quantitative research was put into practice for the purpose of the fulfilment of this aim. The method of the technique of interviewing and the standardized questionnaire were adopted and the data collection was realized with respondents from 4th classes of the selected secondary schools in Klatovy in 2007. It follows from the general evaluation that although respondents from the Secondary medical school have more knowledge about prevention of the risk sexual behaviour, at the present time negative characterizations of the sexual behaviour were found out. One of the problems is an area of the preventive impact in families and schools. The sex education of respondents from the secondary schools without medical orientation is completely insufficient. They are interested in it more at Secondary medical school but also here prevention is based only on giving information. We should lead teenagers to the restriction of the risk sexual behaviour not only by the influence of the area of knowledge but also of the area of their attitudes and skills. Next important role in prevention is played especially by the family and the school, which must work together, then out-of-school activities and doctors. Young people, who have clear aims in life, fixed individual values, communicate with their parents and are led in these important questions, have bigger strength to brave the pressure of people of the same age, advertisements and mass medias, which encourage them to the premature sexual life.
The level of knowledge about HIV/AIDS between the students of the educational establishment in the region Zlin
STŘÍTESKÁ, Lucie
Abstract I have decided to write about this theme because these days we hear or read in the media a lot of misinterpreted information about the HIV virus or AIDS. I have decided to discover which misinterpreted information the students have and also how it was acquired. I believe that efficient information and knowledge about this theme will bring increasing interest in these dilemmas, which can have a positive impact on their sexual behaviour and also prevention. The main goal of my work is to discover the overall level of knowledge in the given HIV/AIDS dilemma of students in training colleges, as well as to describe hazardous risk behaviour and effectiveness of HIV/AIDS prevention lectures. The research group was comprised of students (100 respondents) in training colleges from the Zlin region. The questionnaire method of information collection was used. I have stated three hypotheses, all of which were confirmed. In the first hypothesis I assumed that the students´ knowledge in the given dilemma are higher in students of non-technical branches than in those from technical branches. In the second hypothesis I supposed that part of the information will be in a misinterpreted form. In the third, I assumed that sexual behaviour of students will depict the risk of HIV/AIDS transmission. The results of this work can serve to increase awareness among young people and to target on the focus of primary prevention.
