Production of fibreglass laminate parts
Nenov, Stanislav Stojanov ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Mouralová, Kateřina (advisor)
Bachelor´s thesis is specialised in production of the fiberglass part in the company Composite Components, a. s. In the introductory part the company and shortly its history and production is introduced. In the next parts composites and their dividing are described with specialisation in input materials for fiberglass production and different production technologies. Concrete producing part is described from the period of recieving the data for production of the model and moulds to production of the part. With modification of the production technology production effectiveness is achieved, which is reviewed in the technical-economic evaluation.
FRP for concrete reinforcement
Blahová, Aneta ; Vaněrek, Jan (referee) ; Bodnárová, Lenka (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with composite polymer FRP reinforcement. It descibes the method of manufacturing FRP reinforcements, which are their properties and what materials are used by manufacturers. Lists FRP reinforcement application in various structures. Also mentions the durability of FRP reinforcement in an aggressive environment and the cohesiveness of FRP reinforcement with concrete. The conclusion of the work is a proposal for experimental testing of a bond between FRP reinforcement and concrete.
Additives effect on electrical properties of the epoxy resins
Šebesta, Petr ; Kazelle, Jiří (referee) ; Frk, Martin (advisor)
Work was carried out in collaboration with SYNPO, Inc. Pardubice, which provided samples resins with various additives for measurement. The work is divided into three theoretical and one practical chapters. The first chapter focuses on dielectrics in general. It deals with their properties and storyline running in them. The second chapter discusses epoxy resins, their formulation, production and application in manufacturing. The third chapter offers a view of the measurement methods used for diagnosing electrical dielectrics. The practical part describes the preparation of samples and their composition, and consequently their measurement with the evaluation of measurement data.
Application of Rapid prototyping for production of historical models of assault force vehicles
Malý, Ondřej ; Sedlák, Josef (referee) ; Dvořáček, Jan (advisor)
The paper deals with the production and subsequent evaluation of produced historical trolleys Steyr K2670 models at a scale of 1:120. For manufacturing of the product was used rapid prototyping technology, which creates objects based on the virtual designs. In order to compare, the prototype model was built on different machines, using different methods of making bodies. Based on the final product was produced 3D printing silicone mould, into which was casted the modeller resin in the vacuum chamber. The conclusion is that for objects with very fine detail, it is suitable to choose a machine with high accuracy, working with thin layers of material. The prototype needs to be shaped before creating mould because silicone mould transmits most of the details, such as the texture of the surface layer structure.
COAT
Svobodová, Hana ; Pangrácová, Lucie (referee) ; Gabriel, Michal (advisor)
Although the main topic of my diploma thesis is Kabát, I describe in the introductory chapters of my previous work, because their creation and gradual emergence have been directed towards the final project - Kabát. As part of my sculpture, I concentrate mainly on the possibilities of transforming the human figure, using various classical and non-traditional sculptural materials. The fabric of a selected piece of clothing (in the case of a coat) is reinforced at a certain point in time, which I transposed into the feathered cavity - the coat that you put before you. His work with the "outer envelope of man" in the final passage of the text corresponds to the work of Czech and foreign artists.
Thermal aging of nanocomposites
Janíček, Martin ; Rozsívalová, Zdenka (referee) ; Polsterová, Helena (advisor)
This thesis deals with issues of properties of nanocomposites and it´s heat aging. In the first part there are theoretically analysed some of the basic therms connected with nanocomposites. Also there are outlined basic methods of production of these matherials. The most important is specification of individual properties when bigger attention is gived to electrical properties. Practic part deals with heat aging of samples of nanocomposites filled with nanoparticles Al2O3. There was monitored impact of time of aging on values of internal resistance, dissipation factor and relative permitivity.
Stereolithography for manufacturing of advanced porous solids
Drechslerová, V. ; Neuhäuserová, M. ; Falta, J. ; Šleichrt, J. ; Kytýř, Daniel
The aim of this paper is focused on benefits of stereolithography (SLA) technology for the fabrication of the lightweight lattice structures with potential for load-bearing function and high absorption of impact energy. SLA is an additive manufacturing technology employing the principle of liquid resins curing moderated by radiation of a wavelength from ultra-violet band where resulting material parameters are tunable by setting of the curing process. The batches of samples manufactured using three different resins were subjected to quasi-static uni-axial tensile and compression tests. Acquired data were processed to derive deformation behaviour expressed as stress-strain diagrams and fundamental material properties. Based on the knowledge obtained from the mechanical tests, the setup of the fabrication parameters, the most suitable resin for manufacturing of the lattice structures and the overall suitability of SLA technology for the fabrication of advanced porous materials, were determined.
Design of DLP/SLA 3D Printer
Drcmánek, Filip ; Křenek, Ladislav (referee) ; Sládek, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is dedicated to the design of a DLP 3D printer. The main objective of the thesis is to design a DLP 3D printer that is going to emphasize safety, ergonomics, and user-friendliness. The design is based on the conducted analyses, thanks to which were discovered possible shortcomings of existing DLP 3D printers. These shortcomings create room for innovations, which have been made mainly in sub-elements of the design. Part of the final design includes elements that will simplify the handling of finished prints and increase safety when handling the device. The design also respects ergonomic requirements and the dimensions of the human body. The designed product can find application in the production of prototypes, in dentistry, jewellery and last but not least for hobby users.
Design of composite prosthetic appliances production technology
Magula, Martin ; Slaný, Martin (referee) ; Zouhar, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of manufacturing a composite prosthetic arm. The first part of the thesis is devoted to the research of basic composite materials and technologies for the production of prosthetic devices. The second part of the thesis is focused on the practical manufacturing, where from the scanning of a previously made prosthesis we obtain a model. Following this part, a part of the arm will be fabricated and subjected to material testing.
3D analysis of biological samples using focused ion beam electron microscopy
Petrovský, Jan ; Sobola, Dinara (referee) ; Hrubanová,, Kamila (advisor)
Understanding the three-dimensional information inside biological microscopic structures is easier and more intuitive than a set of two-dimensional images. The aim of this thesis is to create a 3D model of the bacterium Rubrum rhodospirillum that allows the observation of structural changes with respect to the whole experiment. To successfully image the cells, it is essential to fix their ultrastructures. In our case, chemical fixation followed by heavy metal staining and embedding in resin is used. The final acquisition of a good quality dataset for the creation of the three-dimensional model is preceded by the optimization of the image acquisition parameters. Emphasis is placed on the parameters of the electron and ion beam used. In this work, several different microscope settings are tested and compared and their influence on the final image is examined. Subsequently, several datasets are imaged using the software Auto Slice and View 4 and then whole cells and PHB granules inside these cells are segmented. From this modified data, a 3D model of the bacteria in the studied volume was created using selected reconstruction techniques.
