Geodetic Works in the Construction of a Subway Under the Railway Track
Adámať, Martin ; Bárta, Ladislav (referee) ; Bureš, Jiří (advisor)
Diploma thesis describes geodetic works in the construction of a subway under the railway track in Trenčín. Foundation for geodetic works in the construction is decree 300/2009 from the body of laws. The thesis describes these works in the order in which they were executed during the construction process. These works are: prepration of project documents, stake-out, control measurement, measurement of real building execution, quantification of executed building works, creation of real building execution documents. Part of the thesis describes the stake-out evaluation of each building phase and the evaluation of the building execution. The subway is a part of the railway modernization Nové Mesto nad Váhom – Púchov in city Trenčín.
Stress-strain analysis of mandible with applied fixator due to the missing bone tissue
Fňukal, Jan ; Valášek, Jiří (referee) ; Marcián, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with the fixation of lower jaw with bone tissue defect using commercially produced fixator. Large defects of bone tissue are mainly caused due to the removal of bone tissue affected by tumor. These topics have been researched on the basis of the literature. Subsequently, stress strain analysis of the lower jaw with the applied fixation plate was performed. This analysis was solved by using computational modeling with variational approach, ie the finite element method. The work also describes in detail the procedure of creating model of geometry, model of material, model of boundary conditions and loads with subsequent solution of several computational models. The stress strain analysis was done for lower jaw with varying size of the removed bone tissue with applied reconstruction plate made of CP-Ti Grade 4 and for the lower jaw with the plate, which is made of -Ti-Mo. Finally, the influence of the mechanical properties of the callus during formation of new bone tissue (callus healing) on the stress and deformation of the solved system was evaluated.
Case Study of Physiotherapy Treatment of Patient after liver transplantation and colon resection
Pavlíček, Jan ; Vláčilová, Ivana (advisor) ; Nováková, Tereza (referee)
v Abstract Author: Jan Pavlíček Title: A case report of physiotherapeutic treatment provided to a patient following liver transplantation and colon resection Objectives: This bachelor thesis aimed to introduce theoretical information concerning issues with a liver transplant, and large intestine resection and elaborate on a case report of a patient that underwent the above-mentioned procedures. Methods: This bachelor's thesis is divided into two parts. The liver and large intestine's anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology are discussed in the first general section. Following chapters are devoted to the main treatment options for advanced liver diseases, i.e. liver transplantation, and indication and possibilities of colon resection. Physiotherapeutic approaches used in the mentioned procedures and further options of treatment for these patients are mentioned in the later chapters. The second specialized part describes a case report of a patient post-liver transplantation and large intestine resection. Included is a report of therapies that the patient underwent as part of ongoing professional practice in IKEM in January and the beginning of February 2023. Results: The patient was not showing any signs of improvement after the therapeutic interventions. This was due to many factors including the general...
Treatment for Brain Arteriovenous Malformations
Bradáč, Ondřej ; Beneš, Vladimír (advisor) ; Haninec, Pavel (referee) ; Vaverka, Miroslav (referee)
Introduction: The surgical and endovascular results of the treatment of pial AVM provided at our Neurosurgical centre are presented. These results are supported by neuropsychological outcomes of subgroup of treated patients. Going by these results and by an overview of literary data on the efficacy and complications of each therapeutic modality, the optimal algorithm of indications is presented Cohort of patients: The main series comprises 222 patients aged 9 to 87 years treated in the years 1998 - 2013. The surgical group consists of 85 patients, 55 patients received solely endovascular treatment. Thirty-four patients were consulted and referred directly to the Radiosurgical unit. The remaining 48 were recommended to abide by the strategy of "watch and wait". A subgroup of 66 patients, who underwent treatment of AVM was neuro-psychologically tested at least two years after treatment using a battery of tests constructed specifically for this study. A control group consisted of 10 subjects without any neurological disease. Results: In the surgical group, serious complications were 3.5% at a 96.5% therapeutic efficacy. As for AVM treated with purely endovascular methods, serious procedural complications were seen in 5.5% of patients, with efficacy totalling 36.4%. One observed patient suffered...
