The manor house Boskovice

The bachelor's thesis is based on studio project created in the summer semester of the second year of undergraduate studies. The task was the renewal solutions and new use of the building with a loft, currently unused, the building of the Manor house in Boskovice. Manor house is located in a conservation area near the center of Boskovice, district Blansko. This historically protected building complex of farm Boskovice castle is a valuable urban property. After a fire in 1823 was rebuilt, but its appearance has remained virtually unchanged. The biggest change has passed the east wing, which was built a new roof, and arcades were walled up. Currently, the building unused and falling into disrepair. The courtyard is overgrown gas distributor greenery and paved areas are in a state of devastation. The aim was to restore the place of its historical value and use of the building to the public for recreation and leisure activities. In its current form and historically valuable buildings renaissance details will not be interfered with in any way, and nothing will be demolished, but in the context of the return of state in historical terms, it is about restoring monuments. Outbuildings were designed with understated approach so as to not disrupt the architectural structures countenance, but they gave him a new modern concept. The material on these new features is the corroded steel. It was a merger of the two approaches to architecture in a different century. The building consists of a deck above the newly exploited attic for accommodation and part of the basement is also three separate cellars. Existing structures will be redeveloped. Construction work will be carried out mainly in the context of treatment available, change sanitary rooms, new loft conversion and conversion use. Thesis is concerning urbanistic treatment of Jihlava river embankment in the city of Třebíč. Tries to find cause for urban non-functionality of the area within local and wider context to its surroundings. Offers possible solution for rehabilitation of the urbanistic function of the embankment, including putting the embankment into role of important passageway, improving its bounds to the surroundings and active role in city's everyday life.

Renewal of the baroque rectory in Sebranice

This bachelor's thesis is aimed at the preparation of documentation for building permits and construction, based on previous architectural study for renewal of the baroque rectory in Sebranice. The projects is focused on the application of suitable methods of the reconstruction of a cultural monument along with the proposal of a new functional utilisation of the surrounding site. The design itself is characteristic by its careful and sensitive approach towards the listed building. However, it also pursues the present methods of site creation and adds a contrasting new structure to the environment, aiming to accommodate the modern standards of comfortable utilisation. The synthetic approach of the design is prominent in the effort to recover fragments of the original state of the building, as well as using present materials and colour schemes. The final outcome of the design respects the past of the landmark, adapts it to modern requirements and prepares it for its promising future.
Inventure of the City Center ? Brno – Veveří – Žerotínovo náměstí

The main subject of the thesis is a revision of current area framing northwest part of Žerotín Square, that nowadays consists of so called White house (center for children health care and a seat of a medical school). The design is based on theoretical situation concerning the removal of White house and therefore it uses the newly existing place as a subject for new architectural solution. The solution emphasizes the completion of current block of buildings with large courtyard and corner between Žerotín Square and Veveří street, which is very important for traffic. The thesis is focusing on finding the right form, scale and functional content which would reflect the importance of the location, especially focusing on the Brno’s ring road that goes directly to Denisovy sady and accessibility of this city’s part. It also respects the design of the back side of the Red Church. The design uses the newly existing place as a location for new apartment building that reflects the scale of similar buildings in Marešov and other nearby streets and it also proposes administration building as an architectural solution for this location, which would be used as a seat for both municipal and national institutions.
Cattle farm Helvikovice

Bachelor‘s thesis deals with the renewal and extension of the main building complex in Lower Court Helvíkovice in the Pardubice region. The aim of this work is to find the appropriate architectural and urban design, which would meet the requirements for new functional use of the original building to agricultural use. It is a secluded farm, which is engaged in breeding bulls. There are more buildings, but part of the thesis is to develop the main building, which serves as the public. The exact current status is unknown, only the design documentation of reconstruction of the embrace from which partially come out. This object is an elongated shape, which I extended because of the insertion of stairs to the attic, and this extension continues further winter garden of round wood glued trusses. In order to alleviate the length of the building, I used vertical strips of wood paneling on the facade. The newly designed building, which is located in close proximity to the road, invites the public to visit, as part of the building is also a shop with fresh bull meat. Also sitting in the conservatory, overlooking the whole area and the possibility of snacks. Who would want to stay longer has the opportunity to book one of the five apartments that are located in the attic of the building. Another part of the building is used for cutting meat, with all its requirements. The last part of the building is left as a dwelling for the owner of the farm.
The Rehabilitation of the historical center and adjacent surroundings of Kyjov with a focus on the public space

The diploma thesis related to rehabilitation of the historical inside and adjacent neighborhood Kyjov deals with the analysis of the actual state of the city, the evaluation of its problems and potential and the subsequent design of the urbanistic, transport and functional solution. The goal of the thesis is to create better life conditions and thus to attract more new inhabitants to the city. Building new apartment buildings, leisure centers and coworking centers could help to achieve the goal. Designing of new public spaces, which offer plenty of meeting and relaxing places makes the life more quality. The new form of the city is designed with an emphasis on urbanistic contemporary approaches and views, and related to the view of the city as a safe place for pedestrians.
Purposeful updating of a set of historical objects

The topic of the diploma thesis is the design for the renovation of the Porta Coeli monastery complex in the village of Předklášteří. It is a unique, valuable place with a rich history and spiritual character. Monastic life is a historical and, to some extent, today's purpose. However, it is currently in decline and can be expected to disappear completely in some time. Large parts of the area, including historic buildings, are thus in a dilapidated state without use. The monastery provides the visitor with only a minimum of possibilities - a visit to the museum, guided tours, Sunday service. However, the place has a huge recreational, rehabilitation and spiritual potential, which the proposal seeks to develop. Based on the analyzes of the current state and utilization, buildings and areas for further design were selected. These are mainly objects: sýpka, ovčín, probožštví, kočárovna, stará fortna, II.kvadratura, opatství and added new building. Of these, the new building and the stará fortna are further elaborated. The design respects the currently implemented and prepared plans with the monastery. The designed objects are of different typology and functional content, they are connected thematically with the effort to create a comprehensive complex focused on wedding ceremonies, rehabilitation, cultural activities and other social events.
The Repechy Guest-House

Bachelor´s thesis deals with the renewal and extension of a farmhouse in Repechy in the Drahany Highlands. The aim of this work is to find a suitable architectural and urban design that would meet the requirements for new functional use of the original building. This is a guest house in the countryside, in addition it provides a long-term accommodation and additional features, sports and recreational nature. Given the extensive damage to the existing four-winged object, only the northeastern wing was retained, which dominates the entire complex. The main design criterion was to reduce the overall scale of the new extension. Therefore, the objects were broken down into smaller two-storey mass insight as to the capacity of the size of the entire complex would not fit in the rural environment full of small rural buildings. The newly designed guest house consists of renewed north-eastern wing and five other relatives shaped buildings with gabled roofs, which are interconnected with each other by necks with flat roofs. A semi-enclosed public space, which invite the public to visit the house and planting the rest area used for recreation accommodated clients was created by arrangements of individual objects to the letter "s". Accommodation of the complex complements the restaurant with an adjoining courtyard, building for stabling, sauna, outdoor swimming pools and a playground with gazebo. The aim of the project is a clear differentiation existing building from new extensions using a nationwide wooden paneling and green facades.
Reconstrution of the brewery- Boskovice

The aim of the thesis was to design a renewal of old brewery in Boskovice in Blansko county. There is a restaurant with small home brewery, beer spa and multifunctional hall with facilities. Bigger structures built are: extension on the western faccade, which is characterised by its mass turned towards view on the ruins of old Boskovice castle and creation of passage that shortens local walking path. All types of services are accesible for disabled persons. There is a small piece of land next to the building where 6 parking slots are built. Two of them serve for disabled persons.
