Creation of laboratory exercises for Renewable sources of energy
Bajgl, Tomáš ; Jandová, Kristýna (referee) ; Křivík, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the transformation of solar and wind energy into electrical energy by using a photovoltaic panel and a wind turbine. The work gives insight into the Czech Republic’s issue of energetics in the context of historical development, the current state, and the expected future development. The primary attention is given to the renewable sources - the solar energy and wind energy. Basic principles of creation and manipulation of solar and wind energy are described in this work. Two laboratory tasks are created for the Renewable Energy Sources' class as a part of the practical part.
Design and construction of small windpower
Novák, Kamil ; Svoboda, Pavel (referee) ; Prokeš, František (advisor)
This thesis describes the design and construction of small domestic plants. It describes device with three-blade rotor and rated power 1 kW. It presents basic information and rules for the structure and gives an overview of the different types of design. The work is intended as a basic source of information for future implementation. The work includes the assembly drawing.
ORC cycle for waste heat utilizing
Vítek, Stanislav ; Svoboda, Pavel (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this diploma work is the study and the modeling of an Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC). Organic Rankine Cycle is used for heat recovery from low-potential heat sources. Their working fluid is a refrigerant or a hydrocarbon whose properties are adapted to the conditions in which the heat recovery is performed. The other chapters include the technical resolution of exhaust-heat exchanger of cogeneration unit for application ORC and partially economic study use in Czech Republic.
House energy solutions using renewable energy sources
Sabo, Martin ; Musilová, Petra (referee) ; Poláčik, Ján (advisor)
This bachelor thesis discusses the role of renewable sources of energy in energetics of a family house and technologies providing this possibility. Special care is given to power production, heating and air conditioning. The issue of low-energy and passive houses is described in the beginning of the thesis, leading to acknowledgement with different types of energy sources. Analytic part of the thesis contains general information about ways of heating and power production using renewable sources of energy. Different ways of ventilation are introduced and suitability of specific technologies assessed. The practical part describes design of ventilation and heating unit in an experimental house.
Possibile Use of Renewable Energy Sources in a House in the Village of Hovězí
Kašpar, Radek ; Daňhel, Petr (referee) ; Čech, Josef (advisor)
Diploma thesis The possibilities of using renewable energy sources in a family house in the village of Hovězí is divided into two parts. The theoretical part describes the types of renewable resources and the possibilities of drawing up the subsidy program Kotlíková dotace. In the practical part describes the object of the family house. For this house the necessary attachments were made for the possibility of drawing the Kotlýkové subsidy and the most suitable source of heat was chosen with the calculation of the costs of implementation and evaluation of the payback period.
Hydrogen production from renewable sources
Balko, Michal ; Kropáč, Jiří (referee) ; Houdková, Lucie (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor's thesis is to make a summary of actual hydrogen production possibilities both from fossil fuels and from renewable sources. First part deals with production by steam reforming of natural gas and water electrolysis. Next comes the production from biomass by photofermentation and fermentation. Attention is paid especially to input materials and process conditions. In the end chosen processes of production are compared by their energy intensity found out by simplified calculation.
Civil building
Krestýn, Miroslav ; Spáčilová, Jitka (referee) ; Spáčil, Miroslav (advisor)
The diploma thesis titled "Civil building" consists of three main parts. The theoretical, project and calculation sections are created. The common theme of these parts is the assessment of the energy performance of the proposed building. The object is designed as a two-storey office building that meets the current requirements for new construction under the energy certificate. The goal of the work is the design of the optimisation of the building in the form of individual options for energy certificates and their mutual comparison.
Environmental and Economic Aspects by House Heating
Ondruch, Jiří ; Brázdil, Marian (referee) ; Lisý, Martin (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with all possible methods of heating, which can be used for heating family house. The thesis emphasizes mostly on methods new, progressive and environmentally friendly. In the last part of this thesis, the chosen methods are demonstrated on model house.
Smart house in 2020
Tvrdý, Radek ; Prinz, František (referee) ; Mauder, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with smart home technology. The work is divided into research and design parts. The research part presents technologies of smart houses, their divisions, functions and possibilities of solving these problematics. The emphasis is placed on the energy concept of the house, especially the use of renewable energy sources and systems for treatment of the indoor environment. In the second part, based on previous research, a smart home design is created.
Business Plan
Vinca, Martin ; Bartoš, Josef (referee) ; Veselý, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor’s degrese thesis help to explain the situation of setting up a small photovoltaic power plant in the Czech Republic. In the theoretical part of this thesis we are talking about necessary theoretical basises of setting up a small business. In the analytical part are the SLEPT analysis and SWOT analysis. These two parts serve as a base for the practical part. In the practical part is brought closer look on steps which need to be taken while establishing a photovoltaic power plant and is draw up a business plan.
