Forming of solid pollutants from biomass
Havlínová, Denisa ; Štelcl, Otakar (referee) ; Baláš, Marek (advisor)
This bachelor‘s thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part is research and deals mainly with biomass and pollutants. In this section, we will find a two-dimensional distribution of biomass, a comparison of fuel forms and a discussion of basic pollutants with a focus on solid pollutants. The second part is experimental. It starts with a fuel laboratory, where the water, ash and heat content of the biofuels examined is determined. The following is an investigation of the dependence of the PM formation on the properties of the biomass, which was measured by the measurement of these PM by the filters in the collecting device, while the examined biofuels were gradually burned on the fireplace insert.
The underground pneumatic energy storage
Pochylý, Jiří ; Škorpík, Jiří (referee) ; Fiedler, Jan (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the underground compressed air enery storage. Thesis can be divided into several parts. The first part focuses on the theoretical analysis which decribes reason of renewable resources implementation to the electric grid and how renewable resources affect electric grid. Second part describes compression and expansion stage. Last part deals with design of storage facility which is suitable for different energy supplies. Extracted coal mines of Rosicko-Oslavany area is used as suitable underground storage.
The utilization analysis of wind power plant in the area of Czech Republic

The bachelor paper is focused on the utilization of wind power plants in the area of the Czech Republic, a selection of favourable locations and an examination of it´s impact on the enviroment. The paper involves a description of the technology of wind power plant, it´s categorization, a performance calculation and economics reviewed of Czech republic.
Design of a sustainable urban structure - based on a medieval city - for the 21st century.
Čech, Daniel ; Erben, Adam (referee) ; Pavlovský, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of the design was to create a functional urban structure in Náměšť nad Oslavou, which works on the principles of a modern city of the 21st century, but is also inspired by elements of a medieval city. So it is a marriage of the old with the new. On this basis, a compact functional structure was designed, which functions as a complement to the existing development and does not serve as a separate unit. In the new development, therefore, elements were designed to help improve the quality of life throughout the city. Emphasis was placed on the unique character of the development, a car-free center, plenty of green space and work with natural resources. The design has a lifespan of tens to hundreds of years. The proposed development can later be extended to the space, but also to the height.
Using of Renewable Energy Sources for Family House Supply
Varmuža, Jan ; Macháček, Jan (referee) ; Toman, Petr (advisor)
This work is concerned to analysis and evaluation of present recoverable energy resources and position EU to them. In study is provided comparison of recoverable resources (biomass, water, wind, environment energy, and sun). The details are noted for all single cases. As the next addition are included various techniques „how to obtain and convert them“. In study are also noted which necessary equipments must be used and their proper location. In practical part is done comparison of barrier-layer photocell from polycrystalline and monocrystalline silicon and water insulating foil „EVALON SOLAR“. For comparison was taken only produced energy. Next step was financial analysis of each single system and comparison with pay-off in case that invested sum (actual price) was placed to bank under time deposit and share capital fund. During analysis of financial evaluation was found, that more suitable is system from polycrystalline silicon. Because of investors main condition is financial aspect, so for realization will be recommended system from polycrystalline silicon.
Automatic Voltage Control of Distributed Generation in the E.ON Medium Voltage Grid
Skoupý, Martin ; Vaculík, Petr (referee) ; Toman, Petr (advisor)
Content of this master`s thesis is theoretical introduction of the power factor, reactive power and voltage control of decentralised sources of the high voltage in the E.ON distribution network. Furthermore, the thesis deals with possibilities of regulating the power factor and reactive power, carried on above-mentioned resources, in other to stabilize the voltage and overflow control of the reactive power to higher voltage level. The practical part describes how the automatic power factor and voltage control had been put into action by central management control within the headquaters dispatching systém of the company. Following chapter acquaints a reader with information of how the automatic power factor and voltage control had been tested and how it is utilized in practice. In the conclusion the work summarizes results and effects of the power factor regulation and voltage control to stabilize the voltage and the overflow of the reactive power in the E.ON network.
Wind Energy Use on Flat Roofs of Buildings
Tůmová, Eliška ; Kabrhel,, Michal (referee) ; Horák, Petr (referee) ; Hirš, Jiří (advisor)
The PhD thesis is focused on determination of the method by which it is possible to specify the wind energy use potential on building flat roofs. In response to the need to reduce the production of CO2 emissions and increase energy self-sufficiency, it is necessary to use alternative energy supply systems and renewable resources as much as possible. Long-term and short-term wind parameters were measured to verify the of the resulting simulation velocity flow images. Based on the defined input parameters and the completed simulation, the resulting value of the potential is determined, namely the possible production of electricity for selected small wind power plants on the roof of the selected building during one year. In the thesis the individual steps of the method are stated and the verification of the established method is determined.
Energy management of intelligent buildings with related to RES
Michálek, Jiří ; Radil, Lukáš (referee) ; Bátora, Branislav (advisor)
This thesis deals with modelling of virtual building controlled by PLC Foxtrot and using renewable power sources and building energy management system. The paper is composed from two parts. First part is focused on theoretical analysis of smart buildings and renewable power sources. Second part is practical and it’s focused working with PLC Foxtrot, economic benefits of the energy saving systems and on realization of a virtual building.
Effective Technologies for Heating
Čapoš, Eduard ; Špiláček, Michal (referee) ; Lisý, Martin (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to summarize knowledge about current methods of heating family houses with it’s main focus on description and comparison. Second part of this thesis compares chosen methods applied on the model house.
Domestic energy production from renewable sources
Šamalík, Jakub ; Fortelný, Zdeněk (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor’s degree work presents the possibilities of covering energy needs of common family house by the renewable resources. The work is divided into chapters, which are describing the ways of producing thermal and electric energy. It insists on the low power resources. At the end, there are a few concepts of energy resources for a family house accomplished.
