Riding-hall Lipůvka

The bachelor work was prepared as a project for construction based on the studio work from the 2. year. Riding-hall Lipůvka is a complex of three buildings consisting of a pension with a restaurant, riding hall and stables. The complex is situated in the undeveloped area on the outskirts of Lipůvka in the district Blansko. The entire building is designed barrier free. The project documentation includes a two-storey building to pension with a restaurant. The structural system consists of a building system POROTHERM with a contact insulating system from company ISOVER. The roof is composed of bonded trusses with lightweight metal roofing from company LINDAB. Establishment of the object is solved mainly by reinforced concrete strips, sometimes with reinforced concrete quiffs. The building is situated on the north-south axis. Architectural expression builds on agricultural use.

Rehabilitation centre, Pasohlávky

The diploma thesis deals with the design of a rehabilitation center, which is located in the cadastral area of the village Mušov on the border of the village Pasohlávky. It is a two-storey rehabilitation center with a gym and a partial basement. The thesis deepens the initiative of Thermal Pasohlávky, which plans to build a spa resort in the same section, combining elements of spa care, recreation and sports use. The object fulfills the function of a rehabilitation medical facility. The center is designed for up to 50 patients and is functionally divided into three parts. The first part consists of rehabilitation. We will find here several exercise rooms, hydrotherapy, electrotherapy, doctor's office with waiting room and reception. Rehabilitation also includes a gym with access to the terrace and park. On the second floor we can find specialized department of ergotherapy for people with different types of disabilities and second functional part of the bulding designed for staff facilities. It is made up of staffing facilities, dressing rooms, offices and meeting rooms. The third functional part consist from the technical background of the building and is located on the ground floor. The object is designed as a wall system, built from sand-lime bricks km beta Sendvix and insulated with the ETICS thermal insulation made from mineral wool. Horizontal supporting structures are designed as reinforced concrete. The entire building is roofed with a flat roof. Wooden windows and doors are used in the building to fill the holes. Before the building is a parking lot for employees and visitors of the rehabilitation facility. The design respects the principles of barrier-free solutions. The bachelor thesis is elaborated in the form of a project documentation for the execution of the construction.

Mountain family hotel

The Master thesis deal with the design of a recreational object , the type of a mountain family hotel nearby the town of Brezno in middle of Slovakia. The goals will be to design a recreational and sports complex respecting nature and tradition. Mountain family hotel should offer accommodation and the possibility of spending an active holiday for tourists and families with children.

The architectural study of the church for the estate Lisen-Vinohrady, Brno

The main aim of the diploma thesis was to design a building that meets the requirements provided by the announcer and at the same time has a positive impact on the area in both closer and larger context. This may include increasing the number of ecclesiastical buildings, improving the quality of local architecture, expanding the range of social and leisure activities, and cultivating terrain and greenery. All of above on the basis of the analysis of the locality in its context and further coherences (cultural, historical). The object is not only to provide background to enlisted activities, but also to serve as a representative building attracting new visitors. It is an active space connecting the urban population with culture, nature and above all God - with the help of its location on a visible, attractive place with good access. It will be a dominant building expressing its purpose, related to its surroundings and functionally cooperating with the cultural and social happening in Líšeň with a transition to a city-scale dimension.

Residential complex Brno - Reckovice

The area is located in the north part of Brno (Řečkovice a Mokrá Hora) and is surrounded by a housing estate. To the south of this area is a complex of former barracks. In our project we propose to use the area as a residential district with public amenities. Sports ground and the park are included. Currently there are terraced houses and separated family houses. We especially use low-floor blocks of houses with no more than four floors. Orientation of the blocks corresponds with the fact that this area is on the north slope. Family houses with gardens are situated on the east side of the area. The area is accessible from the Žilkova street (on the east) and from the Terezy Novákové street (on the west) – buildings on this street make a noise barrier. The square of our area is next to this street and represents a public place with public amenities (for example a retirement house and a school of art), underground car park and a pedestrian precint leading to the park. A tram stop is nearby. Sports ground and the park are situated in the north part of the area. In the central part we find the kindergarten. Underground car parks for the residents are under the blocks and its courtyards.

Revitalization of Film studios in Zlín

The thesis is focused on the revitalization of the Zlín film studios, with maximum respect for the principles of the investor, using the area in the long term. Idea thesis consists in consolidating the roots of film history, familiarity with film themes and issues for every generation. It also ensures that the area live 24 hours a day. For this reason, in the area of proposed areas not only public facilities, manufacturing, sport but also areas for housing. Campus should become a place where everyone would like to return, whether for entertainment, recreation, leisure and entertainment

Water park Brno

Diploma thesis Aquapark Brno is directly connected with the previous specialist course "Sports Center Za Lužánkami Brno". This project dealt was focused on overall concept, architectural and urban study of this area with an emphasis on sports, recreation and relaxation. There was created a zone of predominantly professional sport in the southern part of this area. There were built football and ice hockey stadiums on the newly created terrace/platform. These stadiums are located approximately in the same places as their current (football) or non-existent (hockey) predecessors. The terrace/platform (parking is located under the terrace) continues, and the newly expanded Boby Hotel follows the recreational sports zone with an Aquapark and outdoor sports grounds located behind the existing Tesco shopping centre. There is formed a new park in north of the sports grounds forming a recreational-relaxation zone on the territory of Planýrka. The existing building of a 50 meter swimming pool dominates the area of Aquapark. It was built in 1979 according to the project architect Otakar Oplatek. However this object no longer meets the requirements of today's visitors or athletes. The new building which includes a twenty-five meter tall swimming pool with a background is being added to the existing building. So there is a separable swimming area created here, which can serve both - swimmers and teenagers or professional athletes. There is a good possibility of racing as well. The new building connects eastward to the building of the roofed Aquapark partially hidden beneath the terraces and resting areas. These three through-flowing but mutually separable objects together with the platform define the area of the outdoor aquapark. He is also separate off from the noisy Sportovní street, but it has a sufficient supply of sunlight. Sports and Relaxation Centre Vsetín, Ohrada

The assignment is an architecture and urban planning study of a sports and recreation center. The solved area is located in the town of Vsetín, in the part called Ohrada. Nowdays, the area is obsolete, unfunctional and also unmodern. My project is mainly focused to create a concept that responds to the environment, offers outdoor and indoor spaces for all generations. It allows better connection with nature, variable use, and division of area by function. The design is defined by the river Bečva on the west side and a busy 1st class road on the east side. It was important to separate pedestrians and cyclists from motor vehicles. The response to this restriction is to direct traffic in the area to the west, towards the river. This creates a terrain works that optically deflects the design in a quieter direction. Buildings are placed in the line and oriented in the western direction. After creating the terrain, I divided the area into several segments according to functionality. In the heart of the area, a multifunctional central hall with an inner climbing wall is set in the terrain. In front of it is a public space for meetings, sports and recreation. On the other side, there is a basketball court, a workout playground, a children's playground in front of the hall and a rest area of ??greenery closer to the river. If we continue southerly down, another cube set into the terrain is a building with a restaurant and a cafe. The southernmost building is a tennis club with facilities for athletes and squash. In front of the building there is a 9x tennis court with a grandstand. Closer to the river and the bike path there is an outdoor climbing wall. From the newly created embankment, the area is divided by a cycle path around the river. Behind the bridge is a green belt separated area which, unlike the previous ones, is tuned in a calmer spirit. The urban development of city Brno, locality Brno-Žebětín

The thesis deals with the ways of utilization of the former collective farm and its surroundings in the town district of Brno-Žebětín. The site is quite vast featuring big altitude differences and is located in a densely populated area. That is the reason the project solely supposes the development of leisure time activities which will complete the inhabited areas, thus creating a zone for sports and relaxation, which will offer various opportunities for spending free time to all age groups. The incorporation of the whole area into the active public life and its accessibility to the public is the final outcome of the project. The basic idea is the extension of the current equestrian centre as well as introducing new leisure time activities to the area. From the city planning point of view, the area is divided into the central part attached to the equestrian centre, a part for sports and relaxation located in the south-east part of the area, moreover, there is a part for outdoor activities and relaxation, as well as housing areas in the northern part, and last but not least sites meant for paddocks. An important element is the Vrbovec Stream crossing the area. In the vicinity of the stream, a zone of greenery follows. Being another important element of the area, the current zone of greenery will be enriched with newly planted leafy trees and wind breaking alleys of poplars.

Plan for the Increase of Efficiency of the Company Economy in the Management of Recreational Facilities

The subject of this diploma thesis is the elaboration of a plan for streamlining business operations by providing recreational benefits, which is a form of non-financial remuneration of employees enshrined in the collective agreement of the company. The plan is based on an analysis of the current situation together with a survey of employee demand for recreational centers of the company, on the basis of which individual proposals for future benefit management are made. These suggestions show the company a direction it should take to revive its current form and achieve the desired satisfaction of a larger proportion of employees, while at the same time streamlining the complex internal process associated with it. The resulting plan will serve as a basis for the decision of the company management in cooperation with the trade union to implement the proposed measures.
