Metody vyššího řádu založené na rekonstrukci
Dominik, Oldřich ; Kučera, Václav (advisor) ; Dolejší, Vít (referee)
This work is concerned with the introduction of a new higher order numerical scheme based on the discontinuous Galerkin method (DGM). We follow the methodology of higher order finite volume (HOFV) and spectral volume (SV) schemes and introduce a reconstruction operator into the DGM. This operator constructs higher order piecewise polynomial reconstructions from the lower order DGM scheme. We present two variants: the generalization of standard HOFV schemes, already proposed by Dumbser et al. (2008) and the generalization of the SV method introduced by Wang (2002). Theoretical aspects are discussed and numerical experiments with the focus on a 2D advection problem are carried out. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Spatial distribution of heavy metals in aluvial sediments of Litavka river and reconstruction of contamination history
Kotková, Kristýna ; Mihaljevič, Martin (advisor) ; Ettler, Vojtěch (referee)
SUMMARY: This thesis is focused on identification of spatial distribution of Pb, Zn and Cu pollution in floodplain sediments of the Litavka River and reconstruction of its pollution history related to mining and metallurgy of Ag, Pb and Zn in the Příbram area. Sampling was performed in floodplain and sediments were analysed by X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy (ED XRF) in aim to understand the distribution of the target elements in the floodplain fill. The results of ED XRF were calibrated by analyses of selected sediment samples by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry with (ICP- MS). The same method was used to determine ratios of lead stable isotopes 206 Pb and 207 Pb. Additionally, magnetic susceptibility was measured, granulometric analysis of selected samples was performed, and cation-exchange capacity (CEC) was determined. The aim of the work was to attempt to reconstruct history of pollution of the floodplain sediments. Sediment dating was performed by 14 C, 137 Cs and 210 Pb. Key words: aluvial sediment, contamination, heavy metals, reconstruction
Palaeoenvironmental reconstruction of the Younger Dryas based on subfubfossil cladocera
Bubenková, Anna ; Tátosová, Jolana (advisor) ; Vrba, Jaroslav (referee)
5 ABSTRACT Long-term paleoenvironmental reconstructions provides essential interpretation of environmental changes. Multiproxy analysis of lake sediments can be used for tracking the historical evolution of lakes and significant processes which formed them over time. Subfossil Cladocera play a key ecological role in freshwater ecosystems. Sedimentary cladoceran assemblages reflect environmental changes and exhibit great potential in past environmental reconstructions. The purpose of this diploma thesis is to identify climatic changes of the time interval between the Late Glacial and the early Holocene in Černé Lake. Based on the analysis of geochemical and biological proxies, determined climatic conditions of Younger Dryas (YD). The YD oscillation in Central Europe has only been briefly described. The Czech Republic is positioned between oceanic and continental climate. The results of the multiproxy analyses suggests that climate conditions of the region during YD were similar to Western Europe with moderate wet climate conditions during the first half and drier conditions during the second half of the period. In the middle of YD there was an interesting event. Observed, probably due to high precipitation and floods. These results are based on P/L ratio, geochemical proxies, pollen analyses and record of...
Preparation for the implementation of a prestressed bridge in Brno
Barič, Dominik ; Venkrbec, Václav (referee) ; Vlčková, Jitka Laura (advisor)
The diploma thesis focuses on the preparation of technological project of a reconstruction of a road bridge in Brno in the district of Brno-Slatina. Reconstruction of the Hradisko Small Water Reservoir in the Radslavice Cadastral Area
Mrázová, Iva ; Kostelecký, Jiří (referee) ; Paseka, Stanislav (advisor)
This diploma thesis, called „Reconstruction of the small water reservoir Hradisko in the cadastral area of Radslavice“, focuses on the complex process of a reconstruction of the small water reservoir Hradisko. This work follows up on the bachelor’s thesis, in which the current state of the Hradisko reservoir was described in detail. Based on the survey of the dam and the flood using a GPS device, detailed project documentation was prepared. Within the solution for the reconstruction of Hradisko reservoir, a repair of the dam and the increase of the crown of the dam is proposed, new functional objects are dimensioned, the bottom is cleared of mud, including modifications in the flood, and other necessary steps for proper functioning of the crumbling no longer compliant reservoir are described. Functional objects are processed for two variants of the solution. The first option consists of the design of a bottom outlet and a safety spillway, and the second alternative involves the design of a combined functional block. In the end, the total costs of both options are quantified and compared on the basis of an indicative item budget.
Podivin Station Reconstruction
Veits, Lukáš ; Dohnal, Michal (referee) ; Říha, Tomáš (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with reconstruction of the Podivín railway station. As part of the work, a new railway solution for the station will be proposed to increase the speed to 200 km / h, including the design of the railway superstructure, substructure and overall drainage. Furthermore, a total peronization will be proposed using two island platforms with a boarding edge height of 550 mm above the top of the rail.
Reconstruction of Railway Station Svitavy
Marek, Josef ; Rotschein, Petr (referee) ; Valehrach, Jan (advisor)
The goal of this thesis was to design the reconstruction of the railway station Svitavy. The line speed was rised from the current value to 160 km·h-1. New platforms were designed, therefore the railway substructure and the drainage were adjusted accordingly. Also, the effective length of the main tracks was extended to 740 m.
Holesov Station Reconstruction
Ludvíková, Lilija ; Šmíd, Jaroslav (referee) ; Říha, Tomáš (advisor)
The master’s thesis deals with upgrading of the Holešov railway station. The goal is to design a solution suitable for the capacity for a current traffic and valid legislation. Required are two boarding edges in the length of 130 meters enabling access to persons with reduced mobility and orientation, adjustments or renovation of a station throat triggered by insertion of platforms, maximizing line speed and design of railway superstructure and substructure design including drainage.
Blansko - roundabout Masarykova x Susilova
Kočiš, Michal ; Patočka, Miroslav (referee) ; Smělý, Martin (advisor)
The subject of the thesis is a design of variants of the solutions of the existing intersection streets of Masarykova, Sušilova and Nádražní in the town of Blansko. The reason for its processing is to find out the possibility of a prospective solution of the intersection. The output of the work is proposed two variants and their comparison in terms of capacity and traffic. The work also contains an evaluation of the traffic survey, capacity assessment of prospective intensities, price estimation of both variants and verification of the passage of the roundabout. The proposed variants improve static transport in the area.
Possibilities of procedures for monument restoration on the example of the pilgrimage site in Horní Police
Koutná, Marie ; Lunger-Štěrbová, Daniela (advisor) ; Macek, Petr (referee)
The thesis deals with the introduction of methods used in the repairs of historical and listed buildings, focusing on timber and masonry load-bearing structures. The text describes the causes and types of structural defects, as well as possible ways of rehabilitation and is also supplemented by examples of their use in practice. This should create a sample book to show which options can be selected and what needs to be considered when restoring individual elements, so that the whole process of repairs is in accordance with the principles of monument care. Possible approaches and methods of reconstruction process of listed building are then demonstrated in the ongoing overall renovation of the pilgrimage site in Horní Police, which is a national cultural monument. The work focuses on the individual buildings of the complex, the Church of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary, the ambit that surrounds it and the entrance tower with a bell tower. The author also presents the history and description of the place of pilgrimage. Keywords Monument care, masonry load-bearing structures, timber load-bearing structures, rehabilitation, restoration, reconstruction, pilgrimage site, Horní Police, Church of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary
