Integration of laser ablation into the workflows of FIB-SEM systems
Electron beam radiotherapy
JIŘÍKOVÁ, Petra
Title of my bachelor thesis is: "Electron beam radiotherapy". The thesis is divided into two parts. The aim of the theoretical part is to remind features and indications for electron beam radiotherapy. In the theoretical part of the bachelor thesis is information from scientific publications, articles and web sites. This information obtained is processing in the form of literary research. I describe devices, which can generate electrons, physical characteristic of electron beam, the effect of electron beam interactions with biological tissues and of course I write more about indications for treatment using a radiation beam of particles called electrons in the theoretical part. I give particular consideration to the dosimetry of electron beam and last but not least I would therefore like special attention to be given to in-vivo dosimetry. The objective of the practical part of the bachelor thesis is to compare the differences between deviations of dose measurement, which is measured by in-vivo dosimetry, of patients with breast cancer. I make comparison between deviations of dose measurement from 2010 and 2019. The data for the practical part come from the computer database of the oncological department of the Hospital České Budějovice a. s.. For the analysis of deviations were randomly selected 60 patients with breast cancer who were treated with electron boost in 2010 and the same number patients from 2019. These samples from each of the two sets were compared to each other. The results of statistical test show that the average deviation of measured dose from the reference dose (dose from radiation treatment planning system) was higher by 1,7 % in 2019 than the average deviation in 2010. The initial hypothesis of this bachelor thesis that the deviation of dose measurement, which is measured by in-vivo dosimetry, is in 2019 lower and less frequent than the deviation dose measurement by in-vivo dosimetry in 2010, was rejected, according the my statistical results.
Quality assurance of mechanical shaft seal assemblies
Příkaský, Jakub ; Maradová, Karla (referee) ; Jankových, Róbert (advisor)
The thesis deals with the issue of a selected sealing shaft assembly. On this assembly, a nonconformity analysis was performed and corrective measures were proposed, applied and verified in a subsequent PDCA cycle. Furthermore, realistic improvements have been proposed that can have a significant positive impact on the overall quality of this shaft seal assembly in the future. The main contribution of this thesis is to reduce the number of non-conformances and on top of that to deepen the management of modern quality methods in the collaborating organization.
Machine tool spindle quality assurance
Marek, Tomáš ; Prostredník, Daniel (referee) ; Jankových, Róbert (advisor)
The master thesis deals with the problem of quality assurance of headstock in a cooperating company, which is one of the leading manufacturers of grinding machine tools. The aim was to analyse the current situation and to suggest possibilities for improving the quality of the spindle. The main contribution is the introduction of control charts for individual values and a capability index to monitor the stability of selected production processes. The thesis concludes by suggesting a number of further options for improving the quality management system in the collaborating company, which should be considered by the company.
Measuring the performance of Public Universities of Georgia: The Case of Social Sciences Faculties Problems of education quality and knowledge production
Shubitidze, Sopiko ; Balon, Jan (advisor) ; Senkova, Olga (referee)
In this research I investigate the problem of education quality at the faculties of Social Sciences at four Georgian Public Universities. The findings of research are derived through interviewing of professors and document analysis of Georgian legislation concerning higher education and European-level frameworks supporting the enhancement of education quality. I deal with the problem of quality using the mixture of theories. I divided researched topics in three parts: Ideological, Institutional and personal-level. The majority of theoretical claims were disproved in the local context of Georgia. Education quality and knowledge production are multi-faceted problems at Georgian Public Universities, Faculties of Social Sciences and it mainly is related to the scarce state resources allocated to HEIs in general in Georgia.
The Evaluation of University Education Quality: The Comparison of the Czech Republic and Kazakhstan
Smagulova, Gulmira ; Kalous, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Veselý, Arnošt (referee)
The thesis "The Evaluation of University Education Quality: The Comparison of the Czech Republic and Kazakhstan" disputes about quality evaluation system in university education area in the Czech Republic and Kazakhstan. During the elaboration of this thesis several analyses were made: the qualitative analysis of the documents from the area of education quality assurance; analysis of the internal and external evaluation of university education quality and the analysis of actors. In conclusion are presented the recommendations for governmental level of decision making process and the university network.
Information Systems Quality Measurement and Evaluation
Kostiha, František ; Vlasák, Rudolf (advisor)
This dissertation thesis includes a concept of an information system evaluation based on the criteria provided with respect to the philosophical, historical and cultural context and using contemporary methodologies well proven in industrial quality assurance systems. The reasoning and proper foundations are made with the sampling methodology through the selected sources interpretation. A comprehensive and an integral approach apply paradigms inspired with for example Aristotle, Giordano Bruno, Confucius and also with the contemporary authorities in philosophy and arts (Belohradsky), information science (Wiener, Shannon, Nielsen), management (Ducker), economy (Stieglitz), psychology and sociology (Kohoutek, Koukolik), quality assurance systems and software and information technology quality assurance systems based on the CSN, EN, ISO and IEC standards. The essence and the nature of information are put to the relation with a value in its social, economic and ethic sense. Based on the information systems quality model designed on such basis, using the statistic methodologies and the seven year data retention pool, the managerial information systems quality evaluation is given with respect to the related processes in the electric generation facilities environment.
Testing Techniques in Continuous Integration System
V této diplomové práci budu zvažovat možnost využití stávajících zkušebních metod a nástrojů pro získání dostatečné jakosti a bezpečnosti softwaru v kontinuálních integračních systémech.
Quality Assurance Network
Ježek, Jiří ; Maradová, Karla (referee) ; Rozehnalová, Jana (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with increase of quality of manufacturing process using the QA network. This tool graphically maps the occurrence and detection of defects in manufacturing process so that the defect is detected as soon as possible after its occurrence. The method Failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) was used as the source for preparation of Quality Assurance Network. In the thesis, there is an analysis of a current situation in branch of quality – improving process and failure mode and effects analysis. After that there is a realization of QA network and the evaluation of the solved issue in conclusion.
