Motivation to study french language at the high school

This diploma thesis focuses on the motivation of students at high school to study french language. The aim is to discover how is possible to motivate students in french language teaching. The thesis consists of the theoretical and the practical part. The theoretical part describes motivation to study french from the point of view of her three main components: learning, social environment of school and character of french language. The practical part has research form and explores what motivate students at high school to study french, compares motivation for this language at elementary school contrary to high school and compares english to french at high school. The main explored aspects of motivation in research part were: the reasons to study, measure of motivation, teaching environment, surrounding environment of french language, forms of teaching, social influence and barriers in studying french language. I collected the knowledge for the topic by questionnaire survey at Grammar school in Ústí nad labem, at Grammar school in Děčín, at Elementary school school Nativity in Děčín. The impact of a chronic disease on the choice of study field and subsequent employment

The thesis consists of a comprehensive introduction to the problems of individuals suffering from inflammatory bowel diseases. The main topics comprise of the impacts of the disease on the process of education, the field of study and the highest achieved level of education and furthermore, the issues of employment as well as social and psychological aspects of these diseases. The thesis has focused on the detailed understanding of everyday and long- term problems encountered by the disabled people. The aim of the thesis was to provide information crucial for the decision-making in regards to the selection of the future field of work for individuals with inflammatory bowel diseases. The recipients of the information would be the individuals themselves, their families, as well as the professions of engaged or special teaching. The qualitative methodology implemented by the technique of semi- structured interviews was applied with ten randomly selected respondents diagnosed with inflammatory bowel diseases. An open coding method was used after the examination of the research data. The analysis of the acquired data has shown that most respondents felt a negative influence of the disease on the course of their education, the selection of their field of study or their highest achieved level of education....

Future Careers of Long-term Carers Looking After Disabled Relatives: Assistance of the Czech Government

Subject of this bachelor thesis is social status of parents who long-term care of their mentally disabled children. This sort of handicap requires and assumes permanent and regular care that is very difficult to combine with an employment. That usually leads to resignation on their professional career. When the child has grown-up and he/she can become by involvement professional social services gradually and naturally more self-dependent, it is very difficult for carers to find appropriate job. They may be socially trapped through governmental care allowance, because it prevents them from combination of their own care with professional social services. Aim of this thesis is identify needs of carers necessary for their re-employment and to propose legislative changes that would support them in their efforts.
