Aspects impact trends in the operation technology of civil aviation aircraft
Korytář, Jan ; Šplíchal, Miroslav (referee) ; Chlebek, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of the work is a general description of the effects on air traffic and aircraft. The first part of the work is devoted to a brief description of the development of individual technical parameters and performance of aircraft from the 1920s to the present with an assessment of the effects. The second part of the work is about the influence of current requirements and the third part is a general view of the future development of construction and technology for more economical and environmentally friendly air transport
Mind Pollution
Krausová, Zuzana ; Knoflíček, Tomáš (referee) ; Klodová, Lenka (advisor)
In my work I deal with parallel sounds of engine and beast. I analyzed the sounds of different beasts and searched for those that are as close as the sounds of the engine. As a representative of engine sound, I chose a motorbike, because the character of the beast corresponds with its character. I decided to turn the sound of the engine to the sounds of the beast, so that they responded to the rotation of the gas and whimpered while driving. I use the sounds of a tiger, alligator, cheetah, leopard, lion, and cats. Part of the thesis is interventions in the public space using a sound-engineered motorcycle.
Pre-treatment of rainwater before entering the infiltration tank
Spurný, Martin ; Balas, Jan (referee) ; Hluštík, Petr (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on the topic of pre-treatment of rainwater before entering the infiltration tank. The theoretical part deals with the issue of rainwater, their division and pollution, as well as technical solutions for rainwater management. In the practical part, testing of selected street drains of various construction systems in the laboratory of VHO (municipal water management) was performed and subsequently these drains were evaluated according to various criteria - the amount of captured material, drain cleaning system and filter construction.
Implementation of selected environmental management system elements according to ISO 14001 in company
Bartolšic, Jan ; Kotek, Luboš (referee) ; Krbalová, Maria (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with creation of environmental management system according to standard ISO 14001:2016 in a manufacturing plant. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the development of ecology worldwide, including its relation to industry, mandatory legislative requirements for an enterprise with the aspect of environmental protection, description of the systems EMAS and ISO 14001: 2016 and the comparison of their requirements. Finally, the theoretical part includes the introduction of the company in which the practical part of the work was implemented. The practical part of the thesis describes the requirements of individual chapters of ISO 14001: 2016 and they are compared with the actual state of company. Subsequently, the author of the thesis created all required documentation for the missing parts of the standard (e.g. environmental policy, environmental aspects, binding obligations of the company and others). This documentation should be implemented by the company in all its departments for successful certification according to ISO 14001: 2016.
Assessment of Ochozsky Brook Status
Vaculíková, Klára ; Tůma, RNDr Antonín (referee) ; Malá, Jitka (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis deals with an evaluation of Ochozský stream in the village Březina in Moravian Karst. There was done a survey of a ground and the stream surroundings. There was also gained information from the Municipal office on technical adjustment of the stream, sewer network, waste water treatment plants and polluters of Ochozský stream. Two measurements of physicochemical parameters and sampling were carried out at six sampling points in autumn 2017 and in spring 2018. Flow rate was measured at three sampling points. Conductivity, pH, temperature, oxidation-reduction potential, concentration of dissolved oxygen and saturation with oxygen were measured in situ. COD, BOD, total phosphorus, ammonia, nitrites, nitrates and Kjeldahl nitrogen were determined in water samples in the laboratory. Organic nitrogen and total nitrogen were calculated. The results were evaluated with a respect of Government Decree No. 401/2015 Coll. There was also provided a hydromorphology assessment of Ochozský stream using methodology Stream Visual Assessment. A land use of the offshore stream strip was mapped.
Dust separators for small power boilers
Szweda, Martin ; Baláš, Marek (referee) ; Milčák, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis is divided into two parts. The first part of this thesis contains research on pollutants, separators and its legislation, while this part is focused on dust particles and their separation behavior. This is followed by a search on the different types of separators that can be used for small power boilers. The second part is followed by an experimental part, where the practical efficiency of the given separator is verified and then the measured values are compared and the result is evaluated. The results are used to determine whether the separator used is suitable for the separation of biomass for low-power boilers.
Kinds of transportation and impact on the enviroment
Trojánek, Zdeněk ; Mišík, Ondrej (referee) ; Prinz, František (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with transport and its impact on our surroundings, but also on our health. The main part of the work presents the characteristics of the mode of transport in terms of emissions and noise production. The resulting emissions are analyzed and the individual components are described in terms of their impact on nature and human health. The next part deals with possible ways to reduce emissions and noise and the different modes of transport are compared with each other.
Evaluation of effectiveness removing pesticides of reconstructed water treatment plant
Kovačíková, Kristýna ; Šubrt, Michal (referee) ; Biela, Renata (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with assessing of effectiveness removing pecticides of reconstructed water treatment plant. In the introduction ismade a short research focused on pesticides, their getting into sources of drinking water and possibilities their removing by water supply processes. As part of this work are assessed effectiveness of this processes for removing pesticidal substances on specific water treatment plant and its sources of drinking water. Is made description of technology water treatment plant before and after the reconstruction, measured data of concetration pesticides in the sources and in the output from water treatment plant is processed to the tables and to the graphs. In conclusion are assessed effectiveness of the new technology for removing selected pesticidal substances and their metabolites.
Mathematical models of retention object of urban drainage
Pavlík, Ondřej ; Stanko,, Ing Štefan (referee) ; Pollert,, Jaroslav (referee) ; Prax, Petr (advisor)
This work deals with the use of 3D mathematical models of fluid in water management practice. Using 3D mathematical model was assessed retention tank Jeneweinova, which is situated on a sewer network of the city of Brno and is an important object of urban drainage. Retention basin designed to keep overflow from CSO chambers to Svratka and Svitavský náhon during storm events. Retention tank Jeneweinova is suitable for the assessment, because tank was designed bassed the Master Plan drainage of Brno using 1D mathematical model. Another factor was the physical model, which was build in LVV Vin FAST BUT. And finally, near the retention tank will be installed measurement on the sewerage network, which will be able to verify the results whitch has been predicted in this work. Mathematical model of retention tanks Jeneweinova was build in software FLOW-3D. FLOW-3D is a general purpose CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) software for flow of fluid in steady and unsteady mode and uses computational techniques to solve the equations of motion of fluids. This software is mainly used for the calculation of hydraulic fluids, gas flow and heat transfer simulations. Results from 3D mathematical model has been compared with the values in the physical and 1D mathematical model.
Separators, sedimentation tanks including the functions of the retention basins Jeneweinova
Turic, Jakub ; Půža, Pavel (referee) ; Veselý, Jaroslav (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor thesis are the issues of separators and sedimentation tanks, including function of retention basin Jeneweinova in Brno. The current work describes the basic physical and hydrodynamic specifics of water and divides the water pollution. The bachelor thesis describes also particular separation and sedimentation tanks, their purpose and usage. Our study follows up the causes for flooding and utilization of retention basin as flood protection. A part of this thesis is the description of retention basin Jeneweinova, their design, purpose and functions.
