Lachman, Ondřej ; Čechovská, Irena (advisor) ; Jurák, Daniel (referee)
Title: The influence of feedback to improve freestyle techniques in children's categories 6 - 9 years old Objectives: The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the effect of feedback to improve freestyle swimming techniques in children's categories 6 - 9 years. Methods: In this work, we used the methods of observation, expert assessment and analysis of video recordings in the training pool. To compare the effect of feedback on improving techniques be taught in groups monitored identical in content. Results: The results of our study show that the subsequent feedback through videos and verbal description has a positive influence on changing a crawl technique in children's categories 6 - 9 years. Key words: swimming, front crawl stroke, children swimming technique, analysis of videotapes
Characteristics of the structure of sports performance in the disciplines 50 m 1500 m freestyle
Cepáková, Hana ; Jurák, Daniel (advisor) ; Pokorná, Jitka (referee)
Title of bachelor's work: The characteristics of the parts of sports performance in the events of 50 m and 1500 m free style Author: Cepáková Hana Field of study: Tvs_B Supervisor: Mgr. Jurák Daniel The year of presentation: 2011 This bachelor's work is a theoretical research work which gains information from Czech and foreign literature. The structure characteristics of sports performance of swimming stroke free style/front crawl in the events of 50m and 1500m is the main aim of this work. The text is divided into a theoretical part and some component subchapters. The first one deals with the structure of sport performance generally. The second ones describe swimming. The chapters in the practical part are divided according to studied branches. The both chapters are divided into the same subchapters according to the parts of the sport performance. These are: fitness, technical, psychological and tactical preparation. I have monitored differences in all four parts of sports performance. The most significant one is in fitness preparation. There is lower one in the other parts of training. Key words: sports swimming, sports performance, swimming stroke free style/ crawl, events of 50m and 1500m
Analysis of crawl swimming technique
Malířová, Julie ; Jurák, Daniel (advisor) ; Zenáhlík, Aleš (referee)
Title: An analysis of the front crawl swimming technique Objective: The aim of this thesis is to analyze the technique of the swimming method of the front crawl. As part of the analysis, we focus on controlling individual segments of the body that significantly affect the effectiveness of movement. Research questions: Is the position of the participant's body in the desired range of angles from 0ř to 5ř? Are all phases in the upper extremities cycle consistent with the model technique? Do the lower extremities move during the front crawl kick according to the model technique? Is the inspirium performed optimally so as not to disrupt the correct position of the body? Is the interplay of the lower and upper extremities performed in optimal timing according to the model technique? Methods: An analysis of the swimming method of the front crawl was carried out in the student specialization of the Department of Swimming Sports UK FTVS. The data collection took place in Flum, where the technique was filmed from the left side (recorded on the surface), from the left upper side (recorded on the surface) and then from the forehead (recorded on the surface). The obtained videos were subsequently analyzed using the Kinovea software and the subcomponments were compared with the optimal model technique. After...
Evaluation scale of swimming technique of crawl for children of younger school age
Hejdová, Andrea ; Svobodová, Irena (advisor) ; Dlouhý, Martin (referee)
1 ABSTRACT The objective of the diploma thesis is to create a rating scale that would be convenient for the evaluation of the swimming crawl technique of the early age school children. The assumption of the thesis is to specify a model technique, which is corresponding with the stage of development of the children and also formulates criteria for evaluation of the swimming crawl technique. The created scale is later used within a group of children from the swimming school Žabička. The theoretical part of the thesis consists of the closer look at the characteristic of the early age school children, specification of the model swimming crawl technique and possible deviation of this technique. To follow up on this knowledge, a rating scale yes/no is developed, as well as a record sheet and an evaluation procedure. For determination of the results is used a method of observing, scaling and a method of quantitative analysis of statistical data. The final research results revealed deviation from the crawl technique mostly in the body posture, movements of legs, movements of arms and coordination of breathing together with arm movements. Function of deep hull stabilization system in kraul technique
Kohoutová, Eva ; Svobodová, Irena (advisor) ; Kainová, Lucie (referee)
The aim of this bachelor thesis was describing the importance of the torso/core system function in the crawl swimming stroke. The theoretical part is divided into two topics. The first topic deals with the crawl swimming stroke, where the correct model technique and subsequently the most common mistakes are described. Regarding the model technique the correct position of the head and body, the movements of the upper and lower limbs, the correct breathing and complete movement coordination are described in detail. The second topic deals with the core system in general and clarifies the meaning of this system. The muscles of the core system and their functions are described in detail as well. The connection of breathing with the core system is mentioned as well as the muscle imbalances and the subsequent vertebral algic syndrome. The methods of examination and the connection of the torso/core system with the swimming locomotion were further described. The practical part deals with the tracking of an actual person swimming crawl stroke on a 800m distance. The monitored person underwent an examination of the core system strength and subsequently, after the warmup 200 m swim, was filmed using a GoPro camera on the mentioned 800m distance. The video with all mistakes was further analysed regarding to the...
Swimming crawl and his swimming lessons for younger school children
Stasová, Petra ; Svobodová, Irena (advisor) ; Pokorný, Ladislav (referee)
The aim of this work is to find the most common mistakes in children of younger school age in swimming technique crawl. Another aim of the work is to eliminate mistakes in the technique of the given swimming method based on the elaborated training plan, in the range of sixteen hours. An integral part of the work will be to map the distance traveled at the beginning of monitoring and then at the end of the application of training. The theoretical part deals with the issue and description of the swimming crawl. The practical part of the thesis consists of recording and subsequent evaluation of individual errors according to the description of children's swimming technique. I will use the methods of observation, scaling, testing to evaluate the results and I will use the statistical method of data processing. The results of the work mostly correspond with the description of the child's technique of the crawl.
Most common swimming technique mistakes by amateur swimmers and their re-education
Raček, Ondřej ; Svobodová, Irena (advisor) ; Kuhnová, Věra (referee)
This thesis aims at observing the swimming technique of adult amateur swimmers and revealing their most common mistakes. Based on statistical analysis, a training plan was composed in order to eliminate the observed swimming technique errors. Furthermore, it was examined whether better swimming technique results in faster performance by the target group.
