Present-day Accelerometers Properties
Střelec, Zbyněk ; Vdoleček, František (referee) ; Zuth, Daniel (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is interested in a modern microchip accelerometers and their usability in a technical diagnostics. A comparison of lesser-known but nowadays very used accelerometer MMA 7260Q from the company Freescale with a common piezoelectric accelerometer is carried out in this thesis.
Determining motion using accelerometer data
Montilla, Michaela ; Koťová, Markéta (referee) ; Janoušek, Oto (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to present the topic of acceleration record using accelerometer sensors and to create a program for the transformation of the acceleration data into the position vector. It is a summary of theoretical background of data recording using sensors of acceleration and an overview of the physical relationships between acceleration, velocity and position. The data was recorded by multiple types of sensors. The gist of the algorithm is a mathematical realization of physical relations modifying the conversion of acceleration to the position. The outcome enables to display a dynamic graphic output in 3-D.
Acccelerometer signal processing for vibration measurement
Vibration sensor
Matěj, Jan ; Pristach, Marián (referee) ; Bohrn, Marek (advisor)
This Bachelor’s thesis deals with a system for reading the radar antenna gearbox vibrations. Firstly it names different types of sensors and defines their suitability for this usage. Secondly it describes the system for data transmission from transducer to computer and also explains meaning of the measured results.
Few Issues When Measuring A High-G-Shock
Kunz, Jan
This paper deals with effects which cause differences between real and measured mechanical shock, namely a high-pass filtering caused by a piezoelectric sensor and a charge amplifier and a resonance ripple caused by a piezoelectric sensor. The first effect can be suppressed by properly selected filtration which fits the application’s requirements. To suppress the second effect the sensor’s model needs to be found. In previous work this was done by two-sensor method, now the frequencies are estimated from the electrical parameters of the sensor. A 2-DOF model is used as it suits better for high-g-shocks. The method is able to suppress some ripple effects in the shock shape.

Vibration sensor
Matěj, J.
This paper lays out a design of a system for reading the radar antenna gearbox vibrations. Firstly it names different types of sensors and defines their suitability for this usage. It describes their important electric and frequency properties. Secondly it shows a design of the data transmission system from the transducer to a computer and describes measured data changes according to the gearbox faults.
