Case Study of Physiotherapy Treatment of a Patient with the Diagnosis bilateral amputation below knee

Title of the thesis: Casuistry of physiotherapy treatment of patient with the diagnosis of bilateral amputation below knee Objectives: The main objective of this casuistry is framework and summary of theoretical and practical knowledge of bilateral limb amputation and processing of case report of patient with defined diagnosis. Methods of the thesis: Bachelor thesis consists from two parts. The general and special. The General part includes the knowledge related with amputations and prosthesis of lower limbs, therapeutic methods and rehabilitation of patients with an amputated extremity. The Special part includes casuistry of patient with diagnosis of bilateral amputation below knee. It also contains complex kinesiological evaluation, therapy and final evaluation of therapy effect. Results: Patient casuistry was process in one month period at Rehabilitation clinic Malvazinky. Title: Case Study of Physiotherapeutic Treatment of a Patient with the Diagnosis of State after Fracture of Proximal Part of Humerus Objectives: To process a case study of physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient after fracture of proximal part of the humerus and following osteosynthesis with a nail. To write out complex theoretical background about stated diagnosis, about options of treatment and about following rehabilitation. Methods: The thesis is divided into two parts, general part and special part. The general part is dedicated to theoretical knowledges about stated diagnosis, which means anatomy of the shoulder joint, kinesiology of the shoulder joint, biomechanics of the shoulder joint, options in treatment of stated diagnosis and options in physiotherapeutic intervention in the state incurred after the treatment. The second, special part is dedicated to complete case study of a patient with stated diagnosis. It contains patient's case history, initial kinesiological examination, description of therapies, output kinesiological examination and evaluation of the effect of intervention. Name: Case study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient with the diagnosis of multiple sclerosis Summary: Bachelor thesis deals with the topic of multiple sclerosis, when the main aim of this work is to precisely introduce and reveal the run of this disease. The theoretical part consists of the definition of the disease, specifics of etiology, symptoms, run and possible treatments. Single treatment methods are aimed on patient's perception of his/her body or single stimulations with his/her own senses. The inseparable part of the therapy is the mental condition of the patient. The practical part considers case report of patient L. S. involving incoming assessment, description of chosen single therapies, out coming assessment, evaluation of the treatment at the end of the therapy and conclusion. Title: Case study of the physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient after implantation of total hip replacement Aim: The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyse theoretical knowledge and practical skills associated with the diagnosis of aseptic necrosis of the femoral head and the physiotherapeutic methods used when working with a patient with a total hip joint replacement. Summary: This bachelor thesis is divided into two parts. The general part was completed by research. It describes the anatomy and kinesiology of the hip joint. It then deals with aseptic necrosis of the femoral head and its treatment options. It maps various types of total hip joint replacements, operative approaches, indications, contraindications, and operative complications. A detailed description of physiotherapeutic care for patients with the diagnosis is also included. The second, specialised part, deals with the casuistry of a patient diagnosed with aseptic necrosis of the femoral head who has undergone total hip joint replacement. Title: Case study of the physiotherapy treatment of a patient after polytrauma with peripheral palsy of ulnar nerve Objectives: The main objective of this thesis is to summarize theoretical knowledge of peripheral palsy, especially the ulnar nerve palsy. Next objective is to elaborate a detailed case study with the use of theoretical knowledge and practical skills acquired during the three years of studying the bachelor's programme, in the context of therapeutic sessions with a patient after a polytrauma who was diagnosed with ulnar nerve palsy. Methods: The thesis consists of two main parts. The theoretical part presents an analysis of data obtained from researching available literature and aims to summarize basic information on the subject. The empirical part documents the course of the therapeutic sessions and summarizes the results of the therapy within a consistent and specialized practice. The aim of general part is getting theoretical basics for diagnosis of disc prolapse L4/L5. The general part is contains of basics of the spine anatomy and intervertebral disc and kinesiology of the lumbar spine. This thesis continue with description intervertebral disc herniation, etiology, diagnosis and teratment of intervertebral disc herniation. Title of bachelor's thesis: Case Study of the Physiotherapy Treatment of a Patient After Bilateral Hallux Valgus Surgery Objectives: The objective of this thesis is the collection of theoretical and practical knowledge related to the hallux valgus deformity and their application to a case study of a patient who had undergone the bilateral hallux valgus surgery. Summary: This thesis is separated into two sections: a general section and a special section. The general section contains descriptions of the hallux valgus deformity. It first discusses the topics of anatomy of the leg, kinesiology of the leg, and biomechanics of walking. Further, it focuses on the hallux valgus deformity, its definition, etiology, development, diagnosis, and treatment, including physiotherapy methods. The special section contains the case study of patient after the bilateral hallux valgus surgery, including the input and output kinesiological analysis, short-term and long-term plan of the therapy, the design of the therapy, the description of the course of individual therapeutic units, and an evaluation of the effect of the therapy. Aims: The aim of this bachelor thesis is to summarize the theoretical knowledge about the issue of liver transplantation and to present an example of physiotherapeutic care on specific case of a patient after liver transplantation. Methodology: This thesis is divided into theoretical and professional part. The theoretical part contains information about the anatomy, physiology and pathologic physiology of the liver, liver transplantation and physiotherapy treatment after liver transplantation. These information were obtained from the scientific sources. Professional part was created as a research with case study during my professional experience in the Institute of Clinical and Experimental Medicine in Prague between 8 January 2018 and 2 February 2018, where I worked with a patient hospitalized after liver transplantation. Objectives: A summary of existing theoretical findings concerning peripheral nerve palsies, especially common peroneal nerve palsy, and their application in practice of physiotherapeutic care of a patient with the stated diagnosis. Methods: The present bachelor thesis consists of two parts. The general part describes the anatomy of nervous system and the patophysiology of peripheral nervous system including the key processes of examination and the most important methods of physiotherapeutic care used for diagnosis and therapy of peripheral nerve palsies.
