The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of privacy and information privacy on the Internet. The theoretical part of the thesis describes main typologies and concludes the value of information privacy and why is it important to protect it. It presents technical tools and legal regulations used for protection. It also deals with an issue of OSINT and presents some techniques and tools for person‘s information gathering. In practical part of the thesis, there is described the development and functions provided by the application for automated information gathering from social networks.

Personal information protection in high school conditions of the Karlovy Vary region

The final bachelor thesis deals with the problematics of protection personal information protection at highschools in the Carlsbad region. The thesis involves theoretical definition of the problematics in context of the new European legislation (GDPR) firstly in general and then in highschool enviroment. The next part of the thesis is research, which involves three domains - establishing function of data protection officer, the way in which schools deal with consent to the processing of personal data in processing which can not be resolved on basis of other reason, for example sharing of photographs and video recordings of students in school presentation, publishing of pupils projects, passing of personal information to other subjects (for example for purposes of competitions) and the relationship of the leadership of school to the problematics of protection of personal information in school The aim of this thesis is to define legal framework of protection of personal information a find out in which way this problematics is resolved at an individual highschool in the Carlsbad region. This Master's thesis deals with the creation of a server-side system used for the automated reading of personal information from photographed identity documents. It is focused on the processing of photographs made by camera phones with respect to various quality of their images. Text localization in images and its recognition by means of neural network are the subject of this thesis. The final system is tested by the client application which was created for the Android operating system.
Confidential Information Storage for Windows Mobile System

Confidential information such as passwords, cryptographic keys, certificates, etc. are used every day on various places. Mobile phone can be a good storage for such informations, but is necessary to ensure data security. Main goal of this project is to create a program for Windows Mobile phones which will keep all the informations in one place protected by password. Designed program lets user to store passwords, cryptographic keys, various files, important contacts, credit card numbers, etc. Some of the stored informations can be downloaded from remote server via FTP protocol or from smart card. It is also possible that two clients will synchronize their informations via Network and other usefull functions.
The Problematics of Phishing

Bachelor thesis focuses on still current and specific type of cybercrime called phishing. The goal of the thesis is to introduce an ordinary internet user to the phishing issue by describing the functionality of different techniques of attack and appropriate ways of prevention and defence against these types of cyber-attacks. The thesis is divided into three parts. Theoretical part deals with the introduction to the phishing issue and historical development of this fraudulent technology since the early 90s of the 20th century. Furthermore, the theoretical part describes the functionality of different types of phishing techniques from the most famous to the less well-known. The end of the theoretical part describes the prevention and defence possibilities at user, software and organizational level. The second part of the work focuses on the analysis of phishing attacks. First the thesis analyses some of the recent attacks on Czech clients, in particular their structure, progress and the real purpose. The following parts show the preparation and process of one classic and one modern attack with examples of detection and possibilities of appropriate defence against these specific techniques. Final part of the thesis shows the results of the survey and phishing quiz, focused on ordinary internet users and their awareness of this issue.
