Information System Assessment and Proposal for ICT Modification

The thesis deals with the assessment and analysis of current state of the information system of chosen organization SOŠ Pod Bánošom Banská Bystrica and the subsequent proposed amendments, which were conditioned on results of performed analysis. The theoretical part is devoted to explanation of the information system, its components, elements, features, importance for the organization and security, also on the theoretical description of the data flow, EPC and ER diagrams. The practical part is devoted to the analysis of the information system of the organization, describes the processes in the organization and design changes in the information system.

Diplomová práce se zaoberá analýzou současného stavu Agentury - Pro-staff s.r.o., která je využita na tvorbu návrhov pro rozvoj společnosti. V první části jsou definovány cíle a metodika práce, zatímco druhá část obsahuje teoretické podklady pro část třetí, která se věnuje analýzám. Pozornosť je venovaná macro a micro okolí. Poslední část obsahuje vlastní návrhy autora, ktoré sú vytvorené na základe výsledkov z analytickej časti. Návrhy se týkají řízení lidských zdrojů, ochrany jména a značky firmy, neustálého zlepšování, kvality ich sluzeb a sdílení informací a komunikaci v rámci společnosti.

Work-life balance

Thesis focuses the topic of work-life balance in the context of psychology connecting the knowledge and practices of the applied field of work and organizational psychology. The theoretical part is devoted to defining work-life balance while considering the variability of psychological aspects considering the topic. It also characterizes selected areas of work-life balance, summarizes individual personality, developmental and social determinants that were in relation to the work-life balance research proved. Subsequently, attention is moved to the particular tools and strategies which can be useful in achieving or sustaining work-life balance, considering two basic levels. On the one hand, considering individual personal level in achieving balance of individual and on the other hand, the strategies and tools provided by organization leading to the work-life balance. The second part presents a proposal for a research project that aims is to track the relationship between the amount of time devoted to selected areas in the life of an individual, quality of spending time in terms of overall satisfaction and perceived fullness and desire or openness to change in individual's life in selected areas in the perceived work-life balance.
