The mathematical model of the operating mechanism for turbochargers
Jakubec, Ján ; Porteš, Petr (referee) ; Zháňal, Lubor (advisor)
The Diploma Thesis is focused to create the mathematical model of operating kinematic model for turbocharger DAVNT (Double Axle Variable Nozzle Turbine) for setting the position of vanes. The work contains a brief overview of supercharge and types of turbochargers. The main part contains a mathematical model which examines the behavior of the mechanism with considering of wear among the parts. It also includes assessment of changing in various parts of the nodes caused by mechanism wear and their influence on the mechanism due to important parameters which characterizes the mechanism. The evaluation is completed by optimizing the parameters. The final section contains the static calculation of internal forces and assessment of actuator position relative to mechanism load.
Measurement of complicated shape parts using image processing
Sujová, Sára ; Březina, Michal (referee) ; Štětina, Josef (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the topic of wear measurement of the pinion gear of the REA actuator used in the regulation of the turbocharger wastegate system. The first theoretical part of the thesis describes the topics of wastegates, actuators, gears and optical methods. In the second part, a pinion measurement method is implemented using a digital microscope and an application to measure the width of the pinion tooth thickness designed in the MATLAB environment.
Stress-strain analysis of real contact surfaces
Chrenko, Peter ; Fuis, Vladimír (referee) ; Návrat, Tomáš (advisor)
Currently, the wear of the articulating surfaces in contact have a significant influence on the life of hip joint replacement. It is therefore desirable to determine the influence of certain aspects on the wear of replacement. For this reason, master´s thesis deals with the influence of asperities of real surfaces of the hip joint replacement on its wear. The aim is to create computational models that would correspond to the real surface of the scanned prosthesis, performing strain- stress analysis and comparison with the results without the presence of asperities.
Toolmanagement and Enterprise Productivity
Bukovský, Tomáš ; Pustay, Jozef (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
Bachelor thesis was written as part of study branch Economics and Process management on the Faculty of Business and Management in Brno. The thesis is divided into four parts. The first part deals with theoretical knowledge of turning, materials and indexable cutting inserts. The second part is analytical and consists of analysis of used tools in company ZWL Slovakia – manufacturing of toothed wheels Sučany, s. r. o.. The third part is devoted to proposal and checking new cutting tool with indexable cutting inserts. The last part is devoted to optimization possibilities and their impact on technical and economic point of view.
