Extraction of arteries and veins from fundus image of human retina.
Pinkava, Marek ; Říha, Kamil (referee) ; Minář, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with processing of retinal fundus images. Vision is the most important human sense and its injury has very serious consequences for humans. Automatic processing of retinal images increases the efficiency of medical examination and accelerates diagnoses of deseases. Retina exhibits unique characteristics for each person and thus can also be used to identify people. In this task is briefly discussed the structure and properties of each parts of the eye, particularly the retina, and their possible diseases such as diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma and age related macular degeneration. Subsequently, the task describes the representation and characteristics of the digital image. Also is devoted to selected image segmentation methods namely thresholding, edge detection and segmentation techniques based on the matched filter. The outcome of this task is the application in which several segmentation methods are implemented for the blood vessels extraction. For each of these methods it is possible to set the parameters of the segmentation to ensure high quality blood vessels extraction in images of different quality.
Optic disc segmentation in retinal images
Focusation of eyes on characteristic component of visual perception.
Fejgl, Martin ; Kolářová, Jana (referee) ; Janoušek, Oto (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with muscles physiology of eye movement and questions of surface electromyography measurement. Physiology and analysis of eye movement are described here. Furthermore the paper deals with a variety of electrooculographic measuring techniques and also with resulting evaluation of measured signal.
Eye tracking
Magula, Filip ; Rajmic, Pavel (referee) ; Vlach, Jan (advisor)
This work deals with tracing the eyes in real-time video using infrared radiation treatment and detection of its rebound on pupils. It describes the human eye and its response to infrared radiation. It contains proposals for hardware and software solutions and the final realization of the basic options in Simulink, explains the selected methods of digital image processing and includes an assessment of the methods used in this work in conclusion.
Hereditary eye diseases by dogs
KOPTOVÁ, Marcela
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to create comprehensive literature review about dog?s eyes inherited diseases. The thesis covers themes such as the diseases symptoms, cause of the diseases and diseases transmittion to the parent?s offspring. The notions of congenital and inherited defects are described further in the thesis. The eye diseases are divided into groups according to place where in the eye can occur.
Immunity in the eye as a model of immunological priveledge site
Zajícová, Alena ; Pindjáková, Jana ; Plšková, J. ; Krulová, Magdalena ; Filipec, M. ; Holáň, Vladimír
The results show the significant role of CD4+ T cells, macrophages and NO produced by macophages during the rejection of the corneal allo- and xenografts.
Ekonomické a sociálne problémy integrácie rómskeho obyvateľstva
Strasserová, Erika ; Macháčková, Jaroslava (advisor) ; Khendriche, Zuzana (referee)
Táto diplomová práca sa zaoberá integráciou Rómov do prostredia Českej republiky. Popisuje a vyhodnocuje postavenie Rómov jednak voči majorite a jednak voči ich vlastnej skupine. Skúma dôvody ich sociálneho vylúčenia a možnosti ich integrácie.
