Ignát Hořica: Austrian Officer on the slavonic South.

This bachelor thesis is focused on Ignát Hořica and his literature. It is an incomplete monology - complete monology would be over the criteria the bachelor thesis. This thesis is divided to two parts - theoretical (biography), and practical (interpretation of Hořica's war themed literature, and literature of other themes of his literature). Due to lack of the society's interest is my thesis only a summary of the basic articles - the original intention was also comparing of war stories in Bosnia by different authors of the same genre, but even this part would be over the criteria of the bachelor thesis.
Some aspects tax control

My dissertation deals with some aspects which are connected with tax kontrol. The main point of my paper is to give a detailed description od selected aspects nad to compare thme according to an old and a new version of legal acjustment. An introductory chapter pays attention to defining tax control. Following chapters deals with the opening of tax kontrol, repeated tax kontrol, periods for tax setting, kontrol report and means of protection dutiny the tax control. My own practical experience with tax kontrol is written about in the last chapter.
Military Chaplaincy in the Czechoslovak Army in the years 1918?1939 with special emphasis on the Roman Catholic Church

This dissertation deals with the history of military chaplaincy in the space of the historic Czech lands. It mainly focuses interwar period of the independent Czechoslovak Republic. The first part of this work deals with the history of activities of military clergymen until the time of founding of the First Republic and briefly passes through a period of many centuries. Then it informs about founding of Czechoslovak Army after year 1918. It notes especially the receipt and development of military chaplaincy until the reorganization of the armed forces in the thirties. Also, it informs about the development in a stable chaplaincy and about its general organization, both in peacetime and in time of the state of emergency. The next section informs about the activities of chaplains in different specific environments. The most comprehensive fifth chapter is dedicated to the life stories of individual chaplains. The consequential part shows life and work of the last chief of military chaplains General Jaroslav Janák. These biographies are key resources for understanding the real duty life of catholic military priests. This dissertation is primarily compiled on the bases of archive resources.
The entry of civil engineers into the municipal government of Prague at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century

This thesis attempts to capture the development of the position of civil engineers, who tried to achieve the position of an academic educated elite in the society of the 2nd half of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. The complete professionalisation of engineers was the condition "sine qua non" to the recognition of civil engineers as part of the academic intelligentsia, and that was one of the main reasons why civil engineers sought to enter the municipal government. The aim of the thesis is to complete the research of the transformation of the municipal government from the "honorationes" into the "executive" government in the city of Prague. The thesis describes the historic development of the technical intelligentsia as a new part of academic educated elite, it shows the reasons that led to the engagement of civil engineers in the process of the modernization of the city, and especially shows the rivalry between them and the jurists. The example of engineer Jan Kaftan shows a successful career of one technician, who thanks to, among other skills, his technical knowledge, was elected to the Austrian parliament. Civil elite, local autorities and culture of the town of Telč

This dissertation is dealing with the town of Telč and its way of living in the first half of the 20th century. The research is focused on the thorough analysis of local authorities from the social and occupational point of view, territorial origin and location of residence its various fellows. The main purpose of this is to idicate the changes which coincided with the influence of nationwide political, social and economic changes. The illustration of six Telč´s families with various professions charts their share which affected the social, cultural and public life of the town. The aim is to get an integral view of this period, therefore the grammar school staff have been included, because of their participatory role in local authorities and social life as well. Municipal and school celebrations have been included to illustrate the cultural backround of provincial town in the first half of the 20th century.
Procedural and financial aspects of human resources management in public administration, evaluation for selected cities

Thesis "Procedural and financial aspects of human resources management in public administration, evaluation for selected cities", it focuses on personnel management activities in public administration. The thesis based on general procedures which are generally aplied to the private sector, it builds on the personnel management practices that are specially adapted to legislation for public administration and describes their practical application in the city of Nymburk and in the city of discrict Prague 7. Finally the present thesis assessts the above mentioned human resources management practices in public administration and formulates proposals for improvement.
Further education and personal development of employees at Prague City Hall

The thesis presents an analysis of the area of further education and personal development of local government employees, in particular of employees at Prague City Hall (MHMP). The focus is aimed primarily at mentoring project in MHMP, its principles and guidelines, there are listed the advantages and disadvantages of such a system and possible improvements. Based on identified weaknesses in the education strategy of MHMP the thesis suggests a training programme designed to improve the skills of leading managers in the areas of effective leadership and the staff motivation.
