Plug-in for Eclipse environment
Zaytsev, Vsevolod ; Burget, Radim (referee) ; Sysel, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis has a goal to design a new DLTK-based (Dynamic Languages Toolkit) plug-in for the Eclipse development environment. Theoretical part of the thesis engages on the architecture of the Eclipse and describes the possibility of its extension through its own plug-ins, particularly for support of the Octave script language. Practical part of the thesis describes the creation of new plug-in for the Eclipse development environment, it’s integration and activation.
Selected Extensions of the Albegraic System Octave
Salač, Radek ; Smrčka, Aleš (referee) ; Vojnar, Tomáš (advisor)
This work deals with issues linked to solving system of linear equations in the environment of numerical computer. It describes the fundamental algorithms emphasizing their positive as well as negative sides. The work is devoted to general issues such as time complexity and memory demandingness of given algorithms. In the last part, the process of implementation of selected procedures into the algebraic system Octave is described.
Installation and configuration of Octave computation cluster
Vitner, Petr ; Míča, Ivan (referee) ; Sysel, Petr (advisor)
This paper explores the possibilities and tools for creating High-Performace Computing cluster. It contains a project for his creation and a detailed description of the setup and configuration in a virtual environment.
Octave and Matlab comparison in terms of basic mathematics
Zahradník, Radek ; Grepl, Robert (referee) ; Krejčí, Petr (advisor)
How is mankind grow older, its knowledge about nature, which in it lives, is getting deeper. Unfortunately human brain in itself became short for solving modern problems and we have to help ourselves with computers and modern computerised methods. But computers themselves can not solve the problems. We need to equip them with adequate software. Goal of this work is to compare Octave and Matlab systems in part of compatibility and in the solvings of practical problems.
Installation and configuration of Octave computation cluster
Mikulka, Zdeněk ; Hasmanda, Martin (referee) ; Sysel, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis contains detailed design of high-performance cluster, primarely focused for parallel computing in Octave application. Each of component of this cluster is described along with instructions for installation and configuration. Cluster is based on GNU/Linux operating system and Message Parsing Interface. Design alllows implementation of this cluster in computers of schoolroom with active lessons.
Octave to C++ Source-to-Source Compiler
Ševčík, Václav ; Křivka, Zbyněk (referee) ; Kolář, Martin (advisor)
It is difficult to use programs developed in the interactive programming environment Matlab for low-memory devices and for integration into projects without the language support. Therefore, the programs are converted into C++. In practice, manual transfer is used which significantly prolongs the time of the developing program. The work focuses on the automation of translation from Octave/Matlab to C++ using the Eigen library to enable matrix and vector operations. The translator allows 39 basic operations and 13 functions of the Octave language. Experiments show that this translation will reduce memory requirements of up to 99%
Comparison of Freely Available Simulation Tools
Vysloužil, Robin ; Janoušek, Vladimír (referee) ; Peringer, Petr (advisor)
This thesis compares different freely available simulation tools. The aim of the thesis is to document and compare tools implemented in Modelica, MATLAB and Python. Various simulation models are created for each language. The models were simulated and the results from simulation runs were evaluated.
Effect amplifier for electric guitar
Kočiš, Martin ; Brančík, Lubomír (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (advisor)
In the first chapter, the thesis concisely describes perception of harmonic frequency components by human ear. The second chapter introduces the reader into purpose of guitar effects and summary of usual types, which is possible to meet on the market. The third chapter contains functional description of chosen effects including designed schematics and simulations of functionality in time and frequency domain, eventually unrealized solution. The device contains input highpass filter with emitter follower, booster, overdrive and clean amplifier, circuit for octave-up frequency shift, delay line, output emitter follower with lowpass filter and power supply for all these circuits. Selection of the effects and its controls was subordinated especially to use in alternative rock music. The design is based on simulations executed using OrCAD PSpice. The realization process and the measurement is described in the fourth chapter and the last chapter contains conclusion of the project.
Digitalizace Prostorových Objektů Pomocí Výpočetní Tomografie S Rekonstrukcí Na 3D Tiskárně
Kolomazníková, Helena
The tomograph prototype based on visible light is devised and built in this paper. The propose of software for object scanning and data evaluation was included too. The principles of medical tomographs were used for prototype designing.
