The work deals with a budgeting of non-profit-making organizations in Czech Republic. The teoretical part specifies particular types of activities and the recommendation for making and utilization of a budget. The analytical part applies the findings and follows them up at a particular non-profit-making organization. The conclusion of the work points to detected deficiencies and proposes measures for the solving.
Help for families with children with developmental dysphasia

This bachelor's thesis, "Assistance to Families with Children with Developmental Dysphasia from the Perspective of Family Policy," addresses the current state of family policy with a focus on families with special needs. It closely examines the relationship with families having a member with the health impairment of developmental dysphasia. Through this work, existing tools and measures aimed at families with special needs are analyzed in contrast to their effectiveness in meeting the needs of these families. The thesis includes an overview describing the characteristic features of developmental dysphasia. This is followed by a description of current family policy measures that aim to mitigate the negative impacts on families with health-impaired members, with a specific emphasis on developmental dysphasia. Goals, stakeholders, and instruments of family policy are outlined within this context. The methodological section involves semi-structured interviews with parents of children with developmental dysphasia, providing a deeper insight into the actual needs and experiences of these families. Support for People with Autism Spectrum Disorders in the Czech Republic

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to assess support for people with autism spectrum disorders in the Czech Republic and to document an improvement in this field. The theoretical part of this thesis defines special needs of a person with autism spectrum disorder and his or her family and describes means of support and social services for the group. This part also includes brief history of civil society organisations that have contributed to the progress the most - Autistik and APLA. The next part analyzes experiences of parents of children with autism spectrum disorders compiled in a biographical survey. The outcome of this paper is a comprehensive presentation of issues concerning the life of people with autism spectrum disorders and their families in our country. This thesis also identified the means of support that are the most useful for this group.
The Right to Information and the Public Participation in the Environmental Matters

Presented dissertation is devoted to the participation of lay element in the environmental matters within the public administration. In these matters it is necessary to find the compromises that should reflect the private plans (of investors and the owners), exercising of the public participation and the public interests too. The cooperation among the administrative authorities, public subjects and private subjects shall be constructive, based on a real legal ground. The target of this thesis is to make an overview of the ways that Czech legal system (based on the international and European law) gives to the public in order to participate on the public administrative in the environmental matters. The important finding of the thesis is evaluation of efficiency of partial tools and also of risks connected with their application. The main terms, motives, preconditions and the importance of public participation in the environmental matters are defined in the introduction. Impacts of Changes of the New Civil Code on a Civil Association in Accounting and Tax Area

This Bachelor thesis investigates the changes in the New Civil Code and its influence in the area of accounting and taxes within the Civil Association, as that is one of the most common legal forms of non-governmental non-profit organization. The thesis particularly addresses to analyse of accounting and tax changes that have occurred after the law amendment in one specific Civil Association operating in the area of South Bohemia. The New Civil Code cancels the term Civil Association and the question what is further to happen with the most common legal form of non-governmental non-profit organization arises. First of all, it was essential to inspect both literary and statutory background of the given problem. As a starting subject, the no longer valid law adjusting the legal form of Civil Association was used. Next, this starting subject was compared to the amendment of the Civil Code, relating to the Civil Association. After that, the information which were obtained by comparing both versions of the Civil Code, were used to analyse some situations, arising within one specific non-profit organization in the light of the law, accounting and taxes. Eventual changes are described in this thesis and the reasons for making these particular changes in the Civil Code are also mentioned.

The citizen participation on the decision-making process of the Czech health policy

Diploma thesis "The citizen participation on the decision-making process of Czech health policy" deals with the patients participation in the Czech republic. The thesis is separated into two parts, one is a theoretical background and the second one is analytic. In the first part there you can find definitions of the key words such as health policy, democracy, citizen participation or public policy. It describes the key words and shows the history and their development through the last 20 years. There is also a chapter which deals with methodology. The second part describes situation of citizen participation in the Czech republic, Germany, Italy, Great Britain and Canada. It deals with citizen participation in health policy in these countries and describes their practical life. It compares countries above with the situation in the Czech republic.
Social and Economic Development of the Municipality Roztoky u Jilemnice

Theme of this bachelor thesis is the Social and economic development of municipality Roztoky u Jilemnice. The aim of this paper is to analyse and evaluate the current socio - economic situation in the village and to perform an analysis of its demographic, economic, social and cultural aspects. The work is divided into two major parts, a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part is based on the characteristics of concepts, which are essential for understanding the topic of this paper. It covers terms such as: municipality, public administration, theory of region and micro regions. The practical part is focused on characterization of the village, its origin, history and geographic location. The empiric research is focused on demographic structure, economic characteristic, club activities and last but not least civil equipment. The research also contains survey which indicates opinions of citizens, regarding living in the village, were determined. All the obtained findings are summed up in SWOT analysis, which interprets strong and weak aspects of the village along with its opportunities and risks.

Non-governmental organisations under the new Civil Code

The submitted thesis examins the issues of non-governmental organisations regulated by the new codification of private law, i.e. law No. 89/2012 Coll. Civil Code - and possibilities of their practical application in theatre practice. The thesis maps legal forms that were used for theatre conduct until the end of 2013 as well as non-governmental organisations established by the new Civil Code. The last chapter of the thesis enumerates the new options that have arisen for each type of legal persons conducting theatre activities. The purpose of the thesis is to create an exhausting overview of non-governmental organisations occurring in the legal order of the Czech Republic, with a special focus on the field of theatre.
