Plan for drought and water scarcity

The aim of the diploma thesis is to describe and prepare the pilot plan for drought and water scarcity for the selected locality, according to the prepared amendment of water law. Recent years have shown that drought will play a significant role in water supply in the future. Therefore, the need for tools to provide procedures and guidelines for individual administrations is more than important. The first part of the diploma thesis deals with issues of drought and water scarcity, climate change and prospects for the future. The next section describes a plan for drought and water scarcity. In the next parts of the diploma thesis, there are procedures that can mitigate or completely avoid the consequences of drought. From this informations, a pilot study of the plan for drought and water scarcity for the town of Počátky is being prepared in the next part.

Same-sex marriages as a political topic in the Czech public space

Bakalářská práce s názvem "Stejnopohlavní sňatky jako politické téma v českém veřejném prostoru" se věnuje mediálnímu obrazu institutu stejnopohlavního manželství z politického hlediska. V kontextuální části je přiblížena definice manželství pro stejnopohlavní páry, současná situace v Evropě a v České republice. Dále práce popisuje kontrast mezi manželstvím a registrovaným partnerstvím. V teoretické části se práce zabývá teoretickými koncepty agenda settingu, za pomoci kterých je ilustrována medializace tématu. V analytické části je provedena metoda obsahové a mediální analýzy prostoru, který je definován v metodologii. Časově je práce ohraničena od vzniku inciativy Jsme fér, která podporuje redefinici manželství, tedy 17. dubna 2017, do konce roku 2021. Dataset, ze kterého vychází analytická část, obsahuje finálních 294 výroků a 5 konkrétních proměnných. Cílem této práce je analýza výroků veřejně činných osobností v mediálním prostoru, v práci jsou také zodpovězeny výzkumné podotázky, které se ptaly kdo se vyjadřoval ke stejnopohlavním manželstvím, jak se o nich vyjadřoval a kdy se o nich vyjadřoval. Práce také detailně popisuje dva návrhy sněmovních tisků, Zákon o ústavní definici manželství jako svazku muže a ženy a Zákon o stejnopohlavním manželství. Influence of the amendment to the education law on the work of school directors

Final Bachelor thesis deals with the role of the school directors, his functions and work duties. Discusses the bankruptcy proceedings and the position of the founders to bankruptcy proceedings.To determine whether a change in his amendment to the Education Law No. 472/2011 Coll., section 166, influenced the work of school directors, how and in what areas. It deals with the attitudes and opinions of the Board of Directors to amend the law, whether the amendment of the Education Law is from their view the optimal solution. It draws from the research brings the investigation undertaken in a randomly selected group of Directors of kindergartens and basic schools as the initial reaction after application of the changes resulting of the amendment to the Education Law. Perception of Mandatory Admission of 2-year-old Children to Nurseries

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to describe how mothers and principals of nurseries perceive the mandatory admission of 2-year-old children into nurseries and, to analyse the differences between perceptions of mothers and school principals. This thesis reacts to the Education Act Amendment from 2016, which obliged nurseries to guarantee spots for 2-year-old children from 2020. The amendment supposed to help parents of young children to harmonize work and family life. The thesis includes an appraisal of potential utilization of the mentioned right for 2-year-old children. The results are based on information obtained from semi-structured in-depth interviews with six communication partners.

Local fees in the Czech Republic

The diploma thesis aims to evaluate a proposed amendment to Act No. 565/1990 Coll. Local Fees. This amendment proposes changes to two local fees, while the diploma thesis is focused on a fee from the accommodation capacity. The subject of this work is an analysis of the local fee from the accommodation capacity in selected twenty cities in Cheb district. Therefore, the first part of the thesis explains the system of local fees in the Czech Republic, describes the historical development of local fees and delimits the difference between the concepts of tax and fee. Subsequently, the basic terms necessary for understanding the given issue are defined, such as municipality budget, elements of local fees, generally binding decree and the last part theoretically defines the amount of accommodation capacity itself. The practical part of the thesis focuses on ten selected towns in the Cheb District, which collect the fee from the accommodation capacity and also focuses on ten selected towns from the district town of Cheb which do not charge for the accommodation capacity. The conclusion of this work is focused on summing up knowledge of the local fee from the accommodation capacity of individual cities and on the basis of them evaluates the proposed amendment.

Development of credit union sector of the Czech Republic

The bachelor thesis is focused on the topic of credit union sector of the Czech Republic. The theoretical part introduces the historical development of the sector along with the legislative changes. The empirical part follows an analysis of the current situation with an emphasis on the relevant indicators of financial health. The findings point to a deviation from the original principles and the introduction of profitability orientation, which leads to increased risk of credit union market. In response to the sector crisis, an amendment of Act was adopted in 2014, opening up the question of the future of individual market participants. The thesis introduces 3 basic scenarios of the future development - the bankruptcy, the continuation of the activity as a credit union or transformation into a bank.

Changes in providing mortgage loans and their impact on financial stability

This bachelor thesis deals with mortgage loans and risks of these instruments for financial stability. In the first part are defined mortgage loans and there is showed current situation on mortgage market. The second part explains systemic risk and financial stability. There is also analysed present Czech national bank´s policy in mortgage loans sphere and a new law. The last part contains research of factors which affect providing mortgages and estimation of final impact on financial stability. The conclusion summarizes obtained knowledge and tries to predict future state on mortgage market and real estate market.

Product placement in TV - an efficient marketing tool

This bachelor thesis on Product placement - an efficient marketing tool goes in for the analysis of the new form of advertising. The work examines the concept of product placement, it's history a explains the different forms of this tool and its practical use. The analysis considers the individual factors those need to be taken in count when implementing into a certain TV show. The strenghts and weaknesses of this marketing tool have been analyzed in SWOT analysis. The thesis also presents the current trends such as celebrity product placement. In 2010 the amendment act that allows producers to place products came into force and there is more to be found about the legislative process in this thesis. I implemented my own marketing research that shows openions of people working in media and studying media on product placement. These openions were further compared to the results of public openion researches on product placement those were conducted in the past.
