The role of a non-state and non-profitalbe organization which is specialized in the care of the people with Down's syndrom

The presented thesis is entitled The Role of Non-Governmental Organization in the Care of Down Syndrome People. The theoretical part of the thesis characterizes Down syndrome and defines all the forms of this disability and its impact on personality. It lists available forms of care and appropriate treatment, that help people with Down syndrome to improve the quality of their lives. The attention is specifically focused on non-governmental organizations. The author chose and elaborated this thesis because she believes in the sense and efficiency of NGOs operation. The empirical part brings the analysis of the collected data within the joint research using the methods of an interview and a questionnaire. By means of these methods the thesis introduces two organizations that focus on helping Down syndrome people in the Czech Republic and provides results that respond to the given research questions about the role of NGOs in the care of Down syndrome individuals. Furthermore, this part compares the extent to which they fulfill their mission and scope of services offered. The closing part brings the results of the survey, where the respondents were the parents using the services of NGOs, and these results are confronted with the interviews held with the management representatives of these organizations thus creating space for more objective evaluation. Secondarily, there are some suggestions about the possible direction of both organizations in the future.
Marketing of a Nonprofit Project – Ladronkafest

The main topic of this bachelor thesis is the Marketing of a Nonprofit Project -- Ladronkafest. It focuses on the main characteristics of the nonprofit market, the differences between commercial and noncommercial markets, the entities operating in nonprofit business, main issues, problems and obstacles the marketing managers need to face. The main goal is to research marketing theories to learn and understand the tools the marketing and commercial communications offer and to apply them to a real project. The field research provides a comprehensive picture of the applied marketing and communication strategies in case of a concrete project, Ladronkafest, a leisure time festival, sport and cultural event. It describes the instruments employed and evaluates their effects. It also reviews the space given to nonprofit organizations participating on the project for their own promotion and concentrates on the benefits and consequences of the relationships with sponsors and other partnerships of this kind, such as partnership with media and suppliers.
Public Relations of Elderly People's Home

The goal of this thesis is to analyze selected non-governmental organization in the field of Public Relations. In accordance with the results of performed investigation, the author will try to propose a specific plan of PR activities within creating positive long-term relationships with company's crucial target groups. The thesis itself will be mainly focused on the preferred target group from both, internal and external environment of the organization. Another vital part of the work will include specific proposals on how the organization should be presenting itself publicly, not only in the framework of media, but also through it's promotion. Last but not least, improvement suggestions will be concerned with the form and the content of company's web sites.

The main aim of this diploma thesis is to create a prediction of the future development in non-profit organizations funding for the new EU programming period 2014 - 2020. To achieve the aims of this thesis the strategic documents of the Czech Republic and above all relevant documents of the European Commission, aimed to set up support system for the new programming period have been used and analyzed.

The topic of this bachelor thesis is a comparison of financial statements in the business and non-for-profit sectors. The financial statements are drawn in the regimes of two accounting systems, which are based on the same act but the content and subject matter of the bookkeeping are regulated by individual implementing regulations. The thesis should read by those who want to expand their knowledge of bookkeeping in the regime used by nongovernmental non-for-profit organizations. For this very reason the chosen concept of the thesis used the comparison, while the author anticipates that the reader has got some basic knowledge of bookkeeping for entrepreneurs. The thesis does have the ambition to explain and to describe the accounting systems as a whole but it seeks to provide a well-structured and factual overview of differences between the accounting systems used by entities which are fundamentally different in terms of their establishing, substance and purpose.
Use of Citizen Journalism in non-government non-profit organizations

This thesis deals with a possibility of connecting citizen journalism with non-governmental non-profit organizations due to lack of public knowledge of these organizations. Firth part of the thesis explains basic terms that are fundamental for this thesis. Here is explained what is citizen journalism, its origin and connection to online journalism. The term non-governmental non-profit organization (NGO) is also clarified. Then author defines basic issues of getting NGOs into classic media and points out causes of failure, resulting in low public interest in this matter. Second part of this thesis shows how this issue is dealt with in the world and developing countries by using CJ and in the Czech republic. The thesis also mentions technologies used in advanced countries to help NGOs better exploit citizen journalism. In the last part of this thesis are outlined general recommendations concerning the possibility of using citizen journalism and suggests specific solution for a non-governmental non-profit organization.

The bachelor's thesis is focused on the theme of non-governmental organizations. Readers are got to know with various non-governmental organizations and laws concerning about non-profit sector. Main attention is focused on civil association. In the practical part of this work there is an economic analysis of a specific non-governmental organization -- called Naděje o.s., in town Jablonec nad Nisou. The main aim of this work is to give basic knowledge about non-profit sector and the way of evaluation of non-governmental organizations in the light of economic analysis.

Information system management in holding type non-governmental organization

The aim of the thesis is to analyze possibilities and specifics of management of information systems in non-governmental organizations and to demonstrate it on the case study. The general analysis of information systems in non-profit sector is focused on influence of specifics of this sector on information systems management and on comparison how type of sector is affecting development and operation of information systems. As a case study Diakonie ČCE was chosen. Diakonie ČCE consists of large number of non-governmental organizations. It is relatively complicated structure which characteristic is very close to a holding company. Thesis pays an increased attention to the description of this structure. Case study consists of an information strategy design for the target organization. For this design and the development modern methodic and tools of development an information strategy were used. Strategy works with the real global strategy of researched organization and it is completed with specification of the concrete projects which are implementing strategy. Range of strategy is affected by limited financial sources of Diakonie ČCE for its creation. This is why elements which would cost unreasonable expenses for the researched organization were omitted.

Further analyses position of NGOs in two countries and their possibility to influence development policy of the government.
