Relationship between morphometric characteristics of the terrain and network analysis in GIS
Kufner, Jan ; Hudeček, Tomáš (advisor) ; Štych, Přemysl (referee)
The main objective of the diploma thesis is creation of methodology and automatization of calibration process of network graph based on the values of morphometric characteristics and motion vectors. The resulting morphometric values of the terrain have been detected on the basis of mathematical and cartographic methods for line course expression. The most accurate one has been used in GIS network analysis over the road network and digital terrain models, which were chosen as the most appropriate for this purpose. Relationship between morphometric values and values suitable for use in network analysis (speed, time, ...) has been studied using specific examples in appropriately selected territory with using selected vehicle, which was designated as a bicycle. The practical part for the verification of functionality of the suggested methodology has been compared with other models of accessibility, available web-map portals and route planners. The process of transport network evaluation based on selected parameters has been automated in Python programming language as a tool in ArcGIS software, which is attached to the diploma thesis. Peer Analysis in the Cryptocurrency Networks
Jeřábek, Vladimír ; Grégr, Matěj (referee) ; Veselý, Vladimír (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to create a tool that will collect relevant information about active nodes in  a Bitcoin peer-to-peer network. We are able to collect important data for more detailed analysis by monitoring the behavior of individual nodes on the network . The proposed solution uses unmodified Bitcoin Core client, which connects to all reachable nodes on the network. The platform has modular design, which offers good scaling as well. Created BiNMo tool (Bitcoin Network Monitor) also employs simple visualization of gathered data. The correct functionality of the monitoring platform was verified in the real operation, where it was monitoring Bitcoin network for more than two months. During that time, BiNMon parsed over 12 TiB of network data and stored over 270 GiB of  metadata about active nodes. The entire platform can be deployed within a few minutes, thanks to Docker containerization.
Implementation of a MitM probe on the platform RPi
Platform for Automated Fingerprints Generation for Mobile Apps
Kičinka, Kristián ; Grégr, Matěj (referee) ; Matoušek, Petr (advisor)
The goal of this work is to develop a platform that would enable automated TLS fingerprinting of mobile applications for the Android platform. The thesis contains information required to understand the issues of TLS fingerprinting, the available types of fingerprints and the method of creating mobile application fingerprints using TLS fingerprints, the design and implementation of the modules required to create the platform. It discusses the issues of automated application acquisition, installation and launching in order to analyze network communication and create fingerprints. It covers the storage and versioning of the created fingerprints and the experiments performed with the created platform in order to verify the functionality and usability of the platform in a real-world environment. It also includes analysis of communication of malicious and malware applications. The platform will contribute to improvements in the field of network traffic analysis, to increase the efficiency of network administrator’s work and is useful in monitoring network communication to identify individual applications on the network, in identifying malicious applications or detecting malware.
Measurement design in modern packet, transport, and access technologies
Galovič, Dominik ; Michálek, Jakub (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
The diploma thesis focuses on the capabilities of the VeEx VePAL Tx300s analyzer and network analysis. In the theoretical part, the thesis focuses on the most common tests used for analyzing network parameters of networks and its devices. Their principles, advantages, and disadvantages are described. The choice of the tests is deliberately selected to match the capabilities of the analyzer itself. Its basic functions are described in this diploma thesis. After understanding the functioning of individual tests and the analyzer itself, two laboratory tasks were created to familiarize potential students, for whom these tasks were designed, with the basic operation of the analyzer and to acquaint them with basic as well as advanced testing of network parameters, whether of active network elements or the laboratory network itself. An addition is the use of the VeEx VePAL tx300 analyzer, which was purchased previously, and the change of an already made laboratory task.
Analysis of horizontal transfer of genetic components using static network analysis
Labanava, Anastasiya ; Jurečková, Kateřina (referee) ; Schwarzerová, Jana (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis focuses on the issue of horizontal genetic elements transfer between bacteria of different strains and the software analysis implementation that enables horizontally transferred genes identification. The packages and tools used were tested on a dataset of bacterial genomes from several strains. The thesis’ theoretical part provides a detailed description of the genetic components transfer between bacteria and describes modern laboratory techniques that enable genome sequencing in various ways. In the practical part, the thesis deals with the preprocessing of genomic files to obtain suitable data for annotation. To detect the horizontal transfer of genetic elements between bacteria, a script is introduced, which organizes annotated bacteria to tables and searches for the same genes in their genomes that, under theoretical assumptions, were horizontally transferred. Furthermore, the gene transfer is visualized using tools that graphically represent phylogenetic relations between bacteria. In the final step, bacterial genomes are connected into networks, and based on their static analysis, a discussion is conducted on the results accuracy and the success of the proposed analysis.
Apartment Reconstruction Project
Pecháčková, Karolina ; Smolíková, Lenka (referee) ; Doskočil, Radek (advisor)
The work focuses on the use of network analysis in the reconstruction of a flat in practice. It analyzes the current state of the building, the requirements of owners and their financial situation. It proposes ways and possibilities of project management using network analysis methods.
Multiplatform Linux Sandbox for Analyzing IoT Malware
Uhříček, Daniel ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Kolář, Dušan (advisor)
Analýza IoT malwaru je problematická zejména pro množství a rozlišnost architektur procesorů používaných IoT zařízeními. Práce shrnuje možnosti statické, dynamické a síťové analýzy Linuxového malwaru a hodnotí existující open source řešení oddělených běhových prostředí pro automatizovanou analýzu. Práce navrhuje modulární, rozšířitelný systém s~jednoduchými možnostmi nasazení, dostupnou API a webovým rozhraním. Výsledná implementace podporuje pět architektur a byla testována na vzorcích IoT malwaru.
