Visitors` Satisfaction in South Bohemia (Prácheňsko a Pošumaví Tourist Area)

The main goal of this bachelor thesis is an identification of factors influencing satisfaction of South Bohemian visitors. Concretely, the thesis is focused on touristic area of Prácheňsko and Pošumaví. It also solves the quality and quantity of a primary and secondary supply in the selected region in terms of demand. The outcome of this work is to make precautions leading to increasing the contentment of tourists in the destination. Regarding the realisation of the thesis research, it is done through questionnairing and by unified data from three cities, that are suitable to the selected area of South Bohemia. The contentment of visitors is evaluated from the number of cultural and natural sights to infrastructure and accommodation issues related to the destination. All these data are processed and prepared for the final precautions.

Evaluation of possibilities of using Czech crafts in tourism supply

The aim of the thesis is to characterize the ways of using Czech crafts in the tourism supply and their current state of involvement in the offer. The thesis also aims to evaluate the importance of craft markets focusing on Český Krumlov, representing one of the ways in which crafts are involved in the supply. The theoretical part describes the integration of Czech crafts into tourism and divides individual folk crafts by material. The practical part deals with ways of using Czech crafts in the tourism supply and outlining measures leading to the improvement of their current state. Furthermore, in the practical part there are interviews with craftsmen leading to the evaluation of the importance of historical markets and the interest of tourists in individual folk crafts.

Tourism analysis of Chlumec nad Cidlinou and its surroundings focused on occupancy development at the campsite

The bachelor thesis deals with tourism analysis of the town Chlumec nad Cidlinou and its surroundings with a focus on the public campsite and outdoor swimming pool development. The aim of the thesis is to analyse actual tourism supply situation as well as preconditions for further development in the area and to evaluate the occupancy development at the campsite in years 2003 - 2016. The thesis consists of six chapters. The first chapter introduces theoretical basics, the second chapter deals with general characteristic of the town and its surroundings and in the third chapter there can be found the tourism supply analysis of the area. Next two chapters include the description and SWOT analysis of the public outdoor swimming pool and campsite area, and the last chapter encompasses final assessment. The outcome of the bachelor thesis represents the creation of complex tourism supply description in the area on one hand, and positive occupancy development of the campsite on the other.

Perception of Attractiveness of Poland as a Tourism Space by Population of Czechia

The doctoral thesis is devoted to analyzing the perception of attractiveness of Poland as a tourism space from the perspective of Czech citizens in a broader context of mutual Czech -Polish relations in tourism. The thesis is primarily based on theoretical concepts of geography of tourism and at the same time it also follows other geographical and scientific disciplines. The methodological framework of the thesis benefits from the openness and multi-disciplinary nature of tourism. Part of the thesis was created using traditional methods and techniques applied in geography, among others: questionnaire research among students, structured interviews with employees of travel agencies, semi-structured interviews with representatives of the Polish governmental institutions, and analyses of the Internet and printed sources. Additionally, there were utilized methods and techniques used more frequently in other disciplines, including: Delphi method, SWOT analysis, mystery shopping, analysis of travelogues, Internet sources of information about Poland, and content of textbooks. Analysis of the Winter Tourism Supply of Switzerland

The bachelor thesis is focused on the analysis of the winter tourism supply of Switzerland. The objective of this thesis is to analyse the winter tourism supply of Switzerland and to assess Switzerland as a destination for the Czech tourists for spending an active winter holiday. The theoretical part of the thesis is dedicated to the sport tourism, including winter sport tourism and also to the role of destination management in development of the destination`s tourism. The practical part is dedicated to the tourism industry of Switzerland and its winter tourism supply. Further, the activities of the Swiss national tourism authority Schweiz Tourismus, and its role in the creation of the winter tourism supply, are described. In the conclusion of the practical part, there is a SWOT analysis, which assesses Switzerland in terms of an active winter holiday destination for the Czech tourists.

The present status and the opportunities of further tourism development in the microregion Milevsko

Diploma thesis concerns the analysis of present degree of the tourism development in microregion Milevsko, i.e. evaluation of primary and secondary potential of tourism. For the analysis of tourism demand in microregion Milevsko served marketing research conducted questionnaire survey. According to questionnaire survey results was defined the profile of the microregion´s visitor. The structured SWOT analysis, evaluation the strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats of microregion, was a background for conceiving of proposals for futher development of tourism in microregion Milevsko.

The Influence Of Tourism On Local Development In Selected Region - Táborsko (Chýnov)

My graduation thesis is aimed at the definition of the examined tourist destination Tábor, precisely the Chýnov, and to do analysis of the offers and demand of tourism in selected area. Then determine the impact of tourism on local development, to define the multiplier of tourism for the area and determine the impact of tourism on the budget of municipalities. An output of the thesis are small measures which point to development of the tourism in Chýnov. One of them is an environmental package for a city, or a proposal of own green symbol with a picture of a bat.
