Development of musical activities in children of younger school age

The work is concerned with the development of musical activities in children of primary school. This bachelor thesis contains the psychological development of the child, auditory perception, vocal system, introduces us to the basic concepts of music theory, defines the concept of musicality, it introduces us to how music education affects the child's health. Finally, this thesis also offers examples of suitable musical activities for children of this age that can be used in music lessons.
Development of musicality in the older school age within the summer camp

The thesis deals with the development of musicality in the older school age. The theoretical part describes musicality, musical abilities, talents, musical activities. It characterizes the older school age with regard of musical development as well. It also deals with leisure time and summer camp. The second part deals with suitable topics for the contents of the summer camp. Activities and games were selected in order to support the development of musicality of the target group.
Development of music and movement choreography for preschool children using my own didactic tools

Master's thesis addresses the implementation of didactic tool to musical movement activities of preschool children in kindergarten with respect to the integrative nature of education. The first part of the thesis is covering theoretical side of the important aspects of child development at the age of five to six years. Further it deals with the specifics of the development of musicality in preschoolers, especially focusing on instrumental side of the music. It highlights the musical creativity that flows from the principles of Orff School. Musical creativity is one of the objective of the thesis second, practical part. Here thesis research music educational project whose main component is a methodical set Cup Song that contains suggestions for practical usage. Experiment, observation and structured interview are used as methods of research that is focused on verification of the Cup Song impact on a musical and personal development of the child. Folk-song in pedagogy for pre-school children

The thesis concerns practical possibilities how to work with folk-songs not only for building-up the musical skills of pre-school children but also for the influence of their overall personal development. The theoretical part describes the folk-song development in RVP PV, particular musical activities working with songs and this part also mentions the devolepment of pre- school child(e)ren abilities and shortly describes the personality of pre-school pedagogue. The practical part concerns how to work with the folk-song in practice. The concrete example (set of songs) shows how is possible to develop children's personality via musical activities. Songs contain practial topics according to defined aims, which are realised in the concrete nursery school. Subsequently are recorded children's reactions at implemented activities. Non-traditional Musical Instruments and their Utilization in Music Education Lessons

This bachelor thesis Non-traditional Musical Instruments and their Utilization in Music Education Lessons focuses on homemade instruments and common objects and deals with their usage in elementary music activities. The chapter about musical instruments aims to classify the non-traditional instruments and puts them into the context of traditional and children's musical instruments. A Few examples of homemade musical instruments are given. Afterwards, advantages and disadvantages related to production and implementation of handcrafts in education are discussed, while considering various criteria (accessibility, pedagogical, and psychological points of view etc.). An emphasis is put on Orff-pedagogy, which can work as the basis for music education, utilizing non-traditional musical instruments. At the end of the thesis, activities and games developing musical abilities (primarily rhythmic ability) via the use of non-traditional musical instruments are included.
Comparison of postural function meaning of the preschool children singing expression

The diploma work is dealing with an influence of postural muscles on preschool children singing expression as weel as on connection between a posture and a breathe. The aim of this diploma work is not just a clarification of this issue, but primaliry it is an aspiration of creating a methodology of exercises, which leads to an improvement of children`s singing. Experimental part of this diploma work is concerned with a verification of created methodology on constant group of preschool children. An audio CD with records of children singing expressions, which confirms reached verdicts, is included.
People's habits and their impementing in the music activities in a nursery school

This diploma thesis is focused on possibillities of using the people's habits in music activities in nursery schools and their influence the development of music abilities. It brings the outline of the religious holidays in the course of the year. The thesis explores the use of people's habits in musical activities in kindegartens and the suggestions of the possible solutions how to apply people's habits in musical activities have been outlined based on this research.
Musical activities in the development of graphomotor skills during the lateralization of preschool children

The subject of the thesis is the use of musical activities in the development of graphomotor skills of preschool children. The theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to the problem of harmonization of music and movement at the level of gross and fine motor skills. It also deals with the issue of laterality and its distinctness. The practical part contains a detailed case study of a boy with a disadvantageous type of laterality and follows the development of his graphomotor skills during 15 lessons, the core of which are musical activities for the development of graphomotor skills of preschool children. I used multiple complementary research methods in the in-depth case study, which were participant observation, mother interview, open-ended questionnaire, family and personal history, and PPP report. The action research was conducted over a ten-month period, with the boys being 4 years and 3 months old at the start of the research. The practical part of the thesis analyses the action research data and evaluates the overall impact of specific musical activities in the development of preschool children's graphomotor skills.
Development of musicality of a child in toddler and early preschool age within the family

The diploma thesis deals with the topic of the family's influence on the development of a child's musicality at an early age, from birth to his pre-school period. In the work the author first describes the general development of the child and then the musical development of the child in individual developmental periods, because the development of music takes place inseparably from the overall development of the child and his personality. This description also includes the period of prenatal development. A part of it is the characteristics of individual musical abilities, the development of which can already be seen at children at this age. The work focuses on the influence of father, mother and siblings of the child on his overall development and development in the field of music, describes the appropriate musical environment in the family and the possibilities of its positive influence. The practical part logically follows the theoretical part and draws on the knowledge contained in it. It focuses on specific practical musical activities that can be performed with children of this age within the family.
