Title: Compensation programme for players national handball team In my thesis I am researching the muscle imbalance of athletes focused especially on playing national handball. My aim is to determine what the muscle imbalances are in the junior team and then creation of a compensating program which should help to remove or decrease the muscle imbalance. Once I have the compensating program created I will apply it to practice. The compensating program was based on analysis of the most active muscles in the body of National handball player. This thesis should be used as a part of a complex training for National handball players and should have a positive impact on the asymmetric load and also prevent development of the muscle imbalance. My thesis is based on a research which was done in the gym of ZŠ and MŠ in Nýřany. Keywords: national handball, testing, compensating program, muscle imbalance, stretching exercise, strengthening exercises

Šmejkal, Jiří ; Zeman, Václav (advisor) ; Topolčan, Ondřej (referee) ; Kálal, Jan (referee)
v anglickém jazyce: Incidence and management of muscle imbalances in physically active and inactive populations: Objective rehabilitation solutions for populations with nonspecific back pain Summary Totally 258 patients with chronic low back pain aged 51,5 +8,4 years were treated for three weeks in the Rehabilitation Centre focused on lumbar back pain. We observed incidence of muscle dysbalances and accomplished their exact objectiveness using the Tergumed system. We tried to compare and solve their mutual influence during the rehabilitation treatment. We compared differences between physically active and physically inactive population, the impact of total motivation, age and other factors on the improvement of strenght, motion, dysbalances and total pain relief.Significant improvement of movement and muscle strenght p <0,001 were documented on the Tergumed in three weeks. The physically active population and patients motivated.by using the Tergumed preferred active exercises to passive therapy. We also observed improvement in finger-floor distance and reduction of pain, documented by the visual analogue scale, decrease in body weight and cholesterol level (p <0,001). In three- week observation nor significant changes in muscle dysbalance, neither their differences according to sex,age ,chronical...
Use of physiotherapy in the prevention and correction of muscle imbalance among mountain bikers
UŠATÁ, Veronika
This bachelor thesis deals with the possibility of using physiotherapy in the prevention and correction of muscle imbalances in field cyclists. Off-road cycling is increasingly popular in the Czech Republic. Not only for the general public but also for the competitors, unilateral loading without adequate compensation. Muscular dysbalance leads to increased risk of injuries and muscle damage. The first theoretical part deals with anatomy and kinesiology of the lower limbs. Further, the theoretical part is focused on the description of the correct setting of the wheel, the starting position and, last but not least, the distribution of muscle imbalances. The practical part of the thesis was elaborated by the method of qualitative research. The tracked group was three cyclists. The research was developed on the basis of comparisons of case studies, including the taking of anamnestic probanda data using a controlled interview, initial kinesiological analysis, a short-term therapeutic plan, the course of individual therapies, followed by output kinesiological analysis, and a long-term therapeutic plan. Therapy lasted 6 weeks with incliding each proband twice a week. Within the therapy there were used soft tissue techniques, mobilization, fine traction, joint centrifugation, postisometric contraction, stretching and breathing exercises, activation of deep stabilization system, back school elements, knee stabilization exercises, sensomotor stimulation, Brunkow exercises, MS exercises System, DNS exercises. The aim of the work was to approach the problem of overload of the locomotive apparatus in field cyclists from the point of view of physiotherapy and to outline the possibilities of specific methods for prevention, restoration and improvement of muscular balance of individual muscles and muscle groups.
Determining the most common functional disorders of the musculoskeletal system of female volleyball players category of cadets VK ČEZ České Budějovice\\
SCHWACHOVÁ, Nikola
The aim of my bachelor thesis was to find out the most common functional disorders of motion system on cadet volleyball players of VK ČEZ České Budějovice. We did examination of posture, development of spine, hypermobility, we tested the most commonly shortened groups of muscles and muscles with tendency to grow weaker on purpose to find out the muscle imbalance and examinate the motion stereotypes. We processed the acquired facts into chart and evaluated them. Based on the evaluation of the acquired facts the most common functional disorders of motion system were bad posture on frontal level, inadequate development of cervical and lumbar spine, distinctive hypermobility in metacarpophalangeal and radioulnar joints, shortenings of hip flexors and paravertebral muscles, weakenings of deep back muscles, glute muscles and deep flexors of head and neck and incorrect stereotypes in extension of the hip joint, performing push-ups and flexing the nape.

Title Comperating and compensating exercises for water skiers Synopsis The goal of my thesis "Comperating and compensating exercises for water skiers" is to create a summary of exercises, which will be part of sports preparation for water skiers during their main training season. In the first part, I characterize theoretical aspects of water skier's sports training including their training units, comperating exercise specifics and types of exercise needed in correction of muscle dysbalance. In the second part, I demonstrate current training unit using structural observation of chosen sample of athletes. In my questionnaire, I appraise results of current inclusion of balance exercise during training units in the main training season of competitors in the age group of 9 - 35 years of age. Furthermore, I describe an experiment concerned with muscle dysbalance of this group of water skiers. Based on the results, I propose exercises compensating this dysbalance. Finally, I review the influence of applied comperating exercise on chosen research sample. I describe results of individual investigation and further propose possible solutions to improve our current situation. Keywords Comperating and compensating exercises, muscle dysbalance, training unit
