Influence upon Mobility in Relation to Spatial Orientation of Pupils in Primary and Upper Primary Schools for the Visually Impaired

The thesis is focused on spatial orientation and independent movement of visually impaired people. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the extent of straight direction deviations concerning visually impaired pupils of primary and lower secondary schools. After analysis of specialized literature a description of current educational system for visually impaired pupils in the Czech Republic follows in the theoretical part. Specific needs related to the field of education of this target group are mentioned. Functional limitation of the visual analyzer influences spatial orientation and independent movement of the visually impaired individual. Therefore the thesis deals with the above mentioned topic and characterises education of the subject called spatial orientation and independent movement. Troubles in the field of motoric movement occur in the group of visually impaired people. This is apparent especially in incorrect walking technique and in deviation from the required straight direction. The research part of the thesis analyses deviations from the straight direction of the visually impaired and intact pupils.

Title: Heredity influence and motor development in preschool children Objectives: Objective of this work is evaluation of heredity of movement evolution according to available literature. Methods: Thesis has a recherche character. Information for our research were found in available scholar and internet sources. The thesis is divided into two parts. In the first part there are clarified basic terms about heredity, motor development and genetic determination. The second part is focused on particular life periods of kids up to 6 years old and their motor development in their life periods. Results: Current motorics of preschool children is significantly genetically determined. Literature corresponds in about 50% of determination. Keywords: heredity, development, motoric
Motion illiteracy of elementary school pupils

Title: Motion illiteracy of elementary school pupils Objectives: The main goal of the thesis is to examine the level of motion illiteracy of elementary school pupils from 8th and 9th classes. That will be reached per examining the level of motion competence and attitudes to motion activities, physical education and active lifestyle. There will be also specified factors, which have smaller or bigger influence on the level of motion competence. Methods: For obtaining data, the questionnaire containing the topic of motion literacy was made according to relevant sources. There was made also the test battery containing ten basic exercices. Results: Tested pupils reached better results than was expected. Boys were motionally literate more than girls. Pupils had mostly positive attitudes to motion activities and physical education, but there were some significant differences between attitudes of boys and girls.
