Occurrence of reading deficiencies in the classes of teaching methods analytical-synthetic and genetic

The thesis entitled The occurrence of reading deficiencies in classes taught by the analytical-synthetic method and the genetic method deals with the analysis of reading deficiencies of pupils of the first grade of primary school who are taught to read by the analytical-synthetic method and the genetic method. The thesis contains a theoretical part and a research part. The theoretical part deals with the current methods of reading and writing, the current range of textbooks for teaching first grade reading, reading diagnostics and work with lagging readers. The research part focuses on finding out the occurrence of reading deficiencies on the basis of the results of diagnostic examinations carried out with pupils of the first grade taught by the analytical-synthetic method and the genetic method. The aim of the research part is to compare these reading methods.
Education of pupils with mid-serious and serious intellectual disabilities focused on teaching reading

Bachelor thesis is focused on the education of pupils with mid-serious and serious intellectual disabilities. In the thesis is reffered to basic definition of mid-serious and serious mental retardation, described the psychological particularities of individuals with intellectual disabilities, communication systems and tools augmentative and alternative communication and system education in primary special schools. Bachelor thesis also contents enumeration of the methods of reading, which are used by pupils with intellectual disabilities, describes the process of teaching reading in two primary special schools and captures as to how pupils with mid-serious and serious intellectual disabilities in reading.

Comparison of teaching methods for initial reading at the beginning of the second grade The thesis focuses on the initial fading teaching methods. It introduces historic development of the methods used in Czech schools as well as current situation. The thesis consists of two main parts. The first part is a summary of information acquired from expert literature. The second part is practical and includes the description and conclusion of a research. The theoretical part focuses on the pre-reading stage and the effect of pre-school education on reading. It presents information about the development of particular functions, clarifies importance of development of skills necessary to master correct technique of reading and introduces factors affecting child's readiness to enter school. Chapter focused on alternative reading teaching methods is also included. The practical part describes comparison of three most frequently used methods of teaching initial reading.
