ANALYZIS OF THE PROCESSING MACHINE CAPABILITY IN BUS PRODUCTION
Gregor, Jaroslav ; Oliva, Zdeněk (referee) ; Pernikář, Jiří (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with an analysis of the processing machine capability in bus production. The goal is to evaluate the capability of the CNC laser processing machine in conditions of Iveco Czech Republic, Ltd., Vysoke Myto. In the theoretical part, the thesis studies measurements and capability of the processing machine; the practical part describes the present state of production and suggests a solution of the assigned task.
Capability assessment of a optical measuring instrument
Slíž, Michal ; Šrámek, Jan (referee) ; Jankových, Róbert (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the capability assessment of an optical coordinate measuring machine according to VDA 5. The capability assessment is an effective tool for deciding whether the evaluated measuring machine is capable for the intended use and under which conditions its use is possible. The theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to the analysis of coordinate measuring machines, with a closer focus on a subset of optical measuring machines and the analysis of their capability assessment procedures. In the practical part of the thesis, the selected procedure is applied on the specific measuring machine Micro-Vu Sol 311. The main contribution of this thesis is a description of the possibilities of the considered coordinate measuring machine for its further use in the educational process at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of Brno University of Technology.
Accuracy of measurement in the context of history
Jemelíková, Kristýna ; Dosoudilová, Monika (referee) ; Vdoleček, František (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with developments in measurement accuracy. First part is dedicated to developments in accuracy throughout history: from the ancient times, through historical error estimation methods and today's error and uncertainty evaluation methods. Second part focuses on developments in measurement and its accuracy of a chosen physical quantity – temperature.
Risk management in the testing laboratory
Virágová, Tereza ; Bednářová, Bronislava (referee) ; Vymazal, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis is dealing with analyzing risks in an accredited testing labotarory. In this thesis will be made a search of available manuals and literature issued for accredited testing laboratory. In this thesis will be conducted selected analyzes for selected processes. The aim of this thesis is to analyze and asses the risks in chosen processes of testing laboratory and make a a simple tools for the management and elimination.
Erors and Uncertainties in Temperature Measurement
Jirmásek, Jakub ; Vojáček, Zdeněk (referee) ; Vdoleček, František (advisor)
Bachelor thesis is focused on sources of temperature measurement uncertainties and their expressing. There is a basic description of the temperature as a physical quantity and its scale. The study describes some kinds of thermometers, focusing primarily on electric thermometers which have a dominant position in the field of automation and regulation. Further the importance of measurement uncertainty is described and its expressing. More space is devoted to the importance of different sources of uncertainty and possible compensation. Finally there is an example of determining the measurement uncertainty.
Statistical evaluation of dimensional setting the car for 3D measurement
Čada, Michal ; Jankových, Róbert (referee) ; Šrámek, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis proposes a dimensional calibration improvement concept for a newly produced car. Before the dimensional calibration itself, a car must be fit in place – aligned into the main graphical coordinate system. Prevalent method of geometric levelling (3-2-1) upon reference points of the chassis does not meet requirements of the contemporary cars, whose support frames blocks accessibility of these points. Proposed alignment method uses advanced laser measuring systems and software capable of 3D scan processing. Statistical evaluation of measured control variables on the car body this bachelor´s thesis proposes minimal allowance limit, for which this method is possible to viable.
Uncertainties of measurements of the dynamic viscosity
Januš, Petr ; Rozsívalová, Zdenka (referee) ; Frk, Martin (advisor)
The thesis is deal with measuring the temperature dependence of dynamic viscosity and the calculation of measurement uncertainties. The thesis writes up the physical nature of viscosity and rheological properties. Next it is write up an overview of possible methods for measuring viscosity of liquids and overview of methods for measuring the density of liquids. An important chapter is the statistical evaluation of measured data represented mainly measurement uncertainties. In the practical part of the work is done workplace for measure the temperature dependence of dynamic viscosity. It is used two methods of measuring viscosity of liquids and two samples of liquids. Finally is done statistical evaluations of measurement. Based on the calculated measurement uncertainty measurement methods are compared.
Electromagnetic field scanner and its utilization in EMC measurement
Chupáč, Michal ; Číž, Radim (referee) ; Kubánek, David (advisor)
Master’s thesis is focused on making the acquaintance of EMC issues and ways of electromagnetic field scanner RS321 utilization for pre-compliance measurements. First part contains analysis of available equipment’s influence on measurement results on the basis of gathered specification. Next part includes an example measurement used as operational manual for scanner and its controlling program. The most important part is correction evaluation for performed EMI measurement of signal generator using its EMC certification protocol and application of gained correction curve on independent EMI measurement of device tested by EMC testing laboratory. Other possibilities of scanner utilization are mentioned in the next chapters. Last part of the thesis contains suitability evaluation of EMC scanner on the basis of findings from performed measurements.
Test Methods for Evaluation of Radiation Effects in High Precision Analog and Mixed-Signal Devices for Space Applications
Hofman, Jiří ; PhD, Slawosz Uznanski, (referee) ; PhD, Simon Platt, (referee) ; Háze, Jiří (advisor)
The traditional radiation testing of space electronics has been used for more than fifty years to support the radiation hardness assurance. Its typical goal is to ensure reliable operation of the spacecraft in the harsh environment of space. This PhD research looks into the radiation testing from a different perspective; the goal is to develop radiation testing methods that are focused not only on the reliability of the components but also on a continuous radiation-induced degradation of their performance. Such data are crucial for the understanding of the impact of radiation on the measurement uncertainty of data acquisition systems onboard research space missions.
Measurement of magnetic quantities - estimation of the uncertainty
Šlichta, Pavol ; Šedivá, Soňa (referee) ; Havlíková, Marie (advisor)
This Master’s thesis contains an overview of determining measurement uncertainties of direct and indirect measurements. It describes a way of creating a magnetic field with the help of Helmholtz coil and a more detailed description of some principles of magnetic field sensors. This thesis also contains a description of the experiments and the factors influencing them. The last part deals with the quantification of uncertainties from measured experiments and with the discussion of the results from these measurements.
