Selected problems of city public transport in Prague
Tolstokulakova, Anastasia ; Mervart, Michal (advisor) ; Hinčica, Vít (referee)
This bachelor's work describes integrated transport of Prague in terms of its functioning and development opportunities. At the beginning, it presents the most frequently used means of transport in the historical development. Then, the attention is paid to tariff zones and ticket system. In the practical part is devoted to opportunities of growth of the tram network, especially development of tram railway Počernická. Furthermore, investment and operating costs to the bus and tram lines are compared at the end of work.
Income Situation of Households in the Czech Republic and Environmental Behaviour
Bendová, Stanislava ; Bartošová, Jitka (advisor) ; Bína, Vladislav (referee)
The bachelor thesis deals with Czech household income and their environment behaviour. The work is divided into three important parts. In the first part, the descripitons of environment and of ecological footprint are analyzed. The Czech household income from 2007 to 2012 is also analyzed in the first part of the thesis. Next chapter deals with currect issues of the environment caused by the human. Last part deals with the final analysis of the work.
Transport behaviour of inhabitants of the Czech Republic after 1989: geographical aspects
PRENER, Jan
The main topic of this thesis is a thorough analysis of transport behaviour of Czech population since 1989. The study mainly concentrates on the issue of geographical aspects and changes in spatial distribution utilization of individual means of transport after 1989, and especially in the analyzed decade 2001 - 2011. The primary task of analyzing transport behaviour of Czech population is statistical survey based on Sčítání lidu, domů a bytů 2001 and 2011. On the basis of this and map outputs are defined spatial disparities, their essential dependence and possible development in the next decade. The thesis represents a partial research of the transport system of the Czech Republic and its spatial organization. The topic is a very broad issue therefore it is not possible to identify all the major factors that have influenced the dynamic development of the transport branch in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part of this work brings a simple but complex view of the selected topic. The emphasis of the qualification thesis is focused especially on the quantitative survey, of which task is to indicate and describe the spatial changes of selected means of transport mentioned in the intercensal period. The thesis also involves a discussion about final issues of the analyzed topic in the individual sections. This discussion could be regarded as a kind of synthesis of existing scientific literature which focuses on transport behaviour and has developed it. Finally there are outlined some geographical aspects which influence the transport behaviour of the population at individual means of transport and the possible development of the examined issue in the following decade.
Technical and legislative conditions of carriage horses
VŠETEČKA, Miroslav
The bachelor thesis deals with the horse transport requirements. The first part derscibes the main purpose of horse transport, current regulations and legislative conditions for the transport of horses and specifications of vehicles, that are commonly used for transportation. Furthermore there are summarized all the documents needed for the horse transportation in national and international transport. The final chapter outlines the overview for horse owners, what options and the usage of different types of transport is most advantageous for them.
Comparison of public transport systems in chosen cities.
Siegerová, Lucie ; Mervart, Michal (advisor) ; Štambergová, Kristina (referee)
The Diploma Thesis is focused on description of public transport systems in Prague, London and Vienna and their final comparison. Theoretical part is describing development of transport, means of transport, system of tariffs etc. In practical part both systems are detaily described and final comparision.
Comparison of Transport Modes Regarding the Creation of Pollutant Emissions
Huňková, Žaneta ; Rathouský, Bedřich (advisor) ; Mervart, Michal (referee)
This thesis deals with modes of transport and their impact on the environment. The theoretical part of this thesis deals with fossil fuels and their impact on the environment, emission that are produced and alternative fuels. The theoretical part also describes how emissions at different transport mode are regulated. The practical part consists of comparison of specific transport modes, regarding of emissions produced.
Transport infrastructure in Prague and Minsk
Milkevich, Igor ; Zelený, Lubomír (advisor) ; Mervart, Michal (referee)
The main aim of this thesis is to analyze and compare the transport infrastructure of Prague and Minsk. I'll try not only to compare these two transport infrastructures, but to find problems in these infrastructures. I will try to compare transportation of passenger of both countries, including the ability and quality of transport, means of transport, prices for different modes of transport. In the theoretical part I'll present what is the network of city, its layout, which means of transport it includes. In the next part I'll describe different types of transport, means of transport and their varieties. The practical part will include descriptions of two transport systems in Prague and Minsk. It will be followed by an analysis of transportation systems through the comparison of two transport infrastructures in order to identify differences between them. In the final part of this work is the analysis of transport infrastructures in Minsk and Prague, descriptions of main differences in Prague and Minsk, potential changes and potential changes.
The analysis of transport behaviour of Czechs with emphasis on use of railway transport
Divíšková, Lenka ; Květoň, Viktor (advisor) ; Kraft, Stanislav (referee)
During the transition period, the dynamic changes in the transport sector occured (changes in the variety of means of transport), and gradually began to change people's transport behaviour. The choice of means of transport is a process which is conditioned by many factors and may have different regional characteristics. Hence, the general objective of the thesis is to asses transport behaviour of the population in different regions of the Czech republic with emphasis on the rail transport. The analytical part of the thesis is divided into analyse at the national and regional level. The aim of the thesis at the national level is to determine the significance of different types of vehicles for commuting to work. The purpose of the thesis is to evaluate the competition in the most used means of transport (rail, bus, car) and to determine the catchment area of each regional district in order of usage of any particular means of transport. Scope of this objective will be focused mainly on the usage rate of railway transport. The secondary objective is to evaluate commuting to work at the micro-regional level within the district of Pribram. The analysis will be performed on the basis of each municipality in the district of Pribram and will evaluate in detail the mobility of the population. This analysis should provide recommendations for the use of individual transport modes and their possible optimization.
: Comparison of Public Transport in selected European cities, oriented towards exploitation of individual means of transport
Mašatová, Anna ; Mervart, Michal (advisor) ; Proroková, Olga (referee)
The subject matter of the theoretical part is the description of city public transport and its history, priorities used in public transport, tariffs and spatial distribution as well as integrated transport systems and vehicles used in public transport. The aim of the practical part is to closely examine public transport systems of individual cities, confront it from several points of view taking into consideration the exploitation and distribution of lines for different means of transport (tram, bus, trolleybus, metro). The cities investigated are Prague, Amsterdam and Budapest.
